- Many Cambodian refugee families arrived in the U.S. in the late 1970s and early '80s, seeking safety from the Communist Khmer Rouge. Dorothy Chow, host of the podcast "Death in Cambodia, Life in America," and Phung Huynh, an artist based out of Los Angeles, joined CBS News’ Elaine Quijano to discuss their experiences as refugees.

God bless America help Cambodia Refugees 40 years ago
Watch John Pilgar Cambodia documentary on UA-cam . He exposes America 🇺🇸 helped pol pot in the 80s and 90s. And sanctioned Vietnam 🇻🇳 for freeing the Cambodian people from pol pot.
Art is the heart & DNA of culture & language is the breath of culture. Our stories must be told 🇺🇸❤🇰🇭
I wished my parents would talk to me about their experiences in Cambodian. Sadly the trauma is too much for them. They always been distant and cold growing up. Unfortunately I've loss a bit of my Cambodian tongue and communicating now with them is more difficult. I left home at 18 to join the Military and didn't come see my parents for 12 years and had little to no contact.
Vietnam freed the Cambodian people from pol pot . But US sanctions Vietnam in the 80s and 90 s for helping free the Cambodian people from the Khmer Rouge. Watch John pilgar Cambodia documentary on UA-cam then you will know why US supported the Khmer Rouge

The Best Cambodian-US Refugee Experience
It is terrible that in our society the problem of refugees is still acute. The way out of this global crisis can only be found together by building a Creative Society, in which the value of human life is put in the first place.
The good news is that people have already begun to act, and as a result, they held the International online forum "Global Crisis. We are People. We Want to Live". Look it up on UA-cam.
Oooohhhh me so hony… me love you long time. Me like big Amewican man!
