I truly believe Justice had won. And I can't figure out Tiffiney's mom her son in law, I hadn't seen him shed a tear for his wife. She should only be crying for her daughter, not her arrogant son in law. So very sad . RIP Tiffiney

Jason was soooo upset that Tiffany had violated the "sanctity of their marriage," but he didn't seem to have a problem with committing adultery with Tiffiney while she was still married to her previous husband. That hypocrisy, alone, made me suspect him from the outset.

This was one of the best episodes I've ever seen. This interviewer should consider becoming a prosecutor. He didn't let the suspect get away with lying like so often happens. And yet with that same tenacity, he also gently helped the victims mom come out of her denial and face the hard truth. I'm so thankful, despite clear conflicts of interest, justice was served.

Sometimes police departments drop the ball and don't do it, but it is absolutely protocol to do it. It is a very simple and easy test- a quick swab of the hands that is then sent out for testing for GSR. Any department that fails to do it is sloppy and unprofessional, as this department certainly was.

I'm sure the promptness of the process was a professional courtesy. You act as if they just ignored the van as a potential crime scene and let him destroy evidence. It really doesn't take long to obtain swabs, prints, photos, video, etc. It is the further investigation of those items of evidence that take time. Law enforcement still investigated despite thinking it was a suicide initially. That is more than most departments do for obvious homicides at times.

Even when the verdict came through she was sitting behind Jason’s parents . It’s very odd that she never once questioned Jason’s guilt . If the verdict had been ‘ not guilty ‘ she would have readily accepted that her daughter committed suicide . And she even said she didn’t want to jeopardise his Appeal so wouldn’t say anything more to the 48 hour reporter .
Good that she finally spoke out during his sentencing .
I hope she contests Jason’s release in 14 yrs time, though I doubt she will . ( He has 15 yr minimum sentence)
It was disgusting that Jason’s parents brought the children along for sentencing . It was a tactic to garner sympathy for Jason but the judge is used to that! .
They should never have got custody of the children . They won’t keep the children’s mother’s memory alive in a good way . They’ll tell the children that their mother committed suicide and their father is innocent . The Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

So people saying ‘oh no, she seemed fine, she was helping people and started seeing a counselor’ doesn’t mean anything.

Again, did I hear it correctly that she cheated on him not once but twice?! When people push others to that kind of limit, take them for that wild of an emotional ride, no one can complain then when that rope gets stretched too thin and eventually just breaks. He wasn't exactly the smartest in killing her tho, and in doing so totally allowing for her to destroy his life. He was angry at how he had allowed for her to play him for a fool, that anger blinded him and is what made him pull that trigger. It could have all been avoided if he had simply just left after the first time she cheated. They didn't have children, what made him stay after the first time she cheated?! That's what he was angry at, himself, because he didn't have the self respect to just leave the first time she did it; and because he didn't leave then she did it again, played him for a fool again. That's what killed him. It's time people understand something for once and for all, people will do what they will do, they can try to throw whatever bs they can try to throw at us, it's the way that we respond to it that determines who the fool is.

I was so stricken by his death that I could do nothing but hold him, scream louder than I ever had before, and cry. Although I had a cell phone, I didn't think of calling 911. I cried and screamed until the police arrived, after being called by someone who heard me. There just wasn't enough proof. Every "proof" was and is possible to explain away. There isn't any actual proof he did it or that she didn't commit self unaliving.
She was dumped by her lover, her husband had found out about her affair, she was drinking heavily and was about to loose everything.
So what if she had contacted a therapist the precious day. It doesn't mean she wasn't suicd@l, vice versa.
She didn't know the previous day that her husband is going to find out her infidelity. She thought she could just go on with the marriage and spit out her guilty conscience to a therapist, but that wouldn't happen because her husband kicked her out.
She had every reason to unalive herself. There is more proof for her doing it to herself than him doing it.
They convinced him by the way he is, by his character and by his past being cheated before.
