Dorothy is an absolute gem
Honestly, I'd rather just her singing the entire time lol
She’s spectacular in concert! And probably the most gorgeous woman in metal
Seriously.... Her smoky voice is tasty. I think she should do a duet with Beth Hart. That would be spectacular.
Scott Stapp has come a long way. Its great to see his recovery has him in a great place! Can't wait to see him with Creed again this year!
Same. My first time seeing them after listening to them for 20+ years. Cannot wait!
Man if you haven't heard Theo Vons podcast with Scott on as a guest, please do! I was a Creed fan back in the day but I never knew everything this man went through and his stories are absolutely remarkable. You won't regret listening. One of the better interviews I've ever heard
@@dreichert1438 Also Scott did a fundraiser video that was absolutely stunning. His live singing voice is just as good as it ever was on the cd's.
You definitely have to check out Dorothy's "Rest in Peace" for a future video! 😊
RIP and What's coming to Me are both stellar, especially the unplugged versions!
Facts Dorothy is amazing
Ain't our Time to Die
Absolutely!!!
Rest in Peace is an absolute MUST and I can't wait to see it on this channel.
Creed one last breath is a must
Yes!
There is a very high chance she will cry more than she wants to on video.
I'd say Higher is also a great choice 👍🏻
@@lea-anne9133 Those two are needed to show both sides, down and up.
Glad to see Stapp getting out there again, and in a good place. I'm going to see Creed in September.
I will ALWAYS love Scott Stapp and Creed. Their music kept me sane, gave me hope, and put me in the arms of God. I've walked the road of sobriety from insanity, holding my maker's hand the whole way. Thank you, thank you, thank you. ❤
My son, Nick loved Creed, but after he passed away in 2006, I couldn’t bear listening to Creed because it reminded me so much of Nick.
Then in 2008 while I was deployed to Kuwait Scott came there and put on a USO show at Camp Arifjan.
Coincidentally it was the on the same day as Nick’s birthday.
It was really a great show and even though it was very emotional for me to watch, I got through it.
That night I dreamed about Nick for the first time since he passed away. Now I’m a Scott Stapp fan for life.
Easy to forget what a powerful singer he was. When Creed came out they were larger than life.
Still got it…wow. Incredible. What a tone.
Crazy part is how much hate Scott strap gets - dude is down to earth - this song shows it - I met him a few times and his wife - I’d say I got connections to him
I agree. I'm just hearing this song for the first time. Powerful! @@joegrosso9664
I saw him recently on Theo vons podcast, and it was really interesting. He’s not only insightful but a lot more funny than I expected.
I was coming of age when creed hit the scene, and saw the whole cycle of blowing up, to sort of relegated to the nerd table with nickle back, which I never understood why really. Maybe because his music is just accessible to everyone really?
Either way I’m thrilled to see Scott getting some momentum again. It’s been far too long and he’s such a talent!
Anxiously waiting for Liz to discover and analyze the songs of the band Mudvayne, such as "Happy?", "Dig", "World So Cold", "Death Blooms", "Determined" and so many other incredible songs
I think Mudvayne is on my list! Just haven't gotten to that point, yet. Let's see how many thumbs up this comment gets!
"Nothing to Gein", or "Internal primates forever" are the ones I rock the most but Happy? is probably the best suggestion for her channel.
It's a top tier song.
Dig is mega kickass but it's so in your face compared to these others lol. Dig would make some people's b-holes pucker and would probably have to be censored for UA-cam.
Dig is one of their best songs
Yes Mudvayne please!
Happy is one of my favorite Mudvayne songs 😁🤘
I am so excited to finally see Dorothy on this channel. I discovered her about six years ago and have been a huge fan ever since. I have recommended her in comments here more than once. She’s amazing. 😍
Same here. Keep pushing
I recommend Dorothy to you every chance I get. I'll take the collab but please, please, please add Dorothy to your "we saw recommendations in the comments" list. What's Coming to Me and Rest in Peace (both Unplugged) are songs I have in multiple playlists just so I hear them more often.
both of those unplugged Dorothy tracks are in HEAVY rotation in my ears. She is AMAZING!
Ditto. Been recommending Dorothy for a long time. So glad to see her here, finally. I am confident this will not be the last time. Her ability speaks for itself. Elizabeth will be captured.
Love to see Elizabeth get more into Dorothy
Saw her live in KC in 2019. She's even better in person. If you want to hear her power in her voice, listen to the song 'Black Sheep'
Would love to see Elizabeth analyze Rest in Peace, but anything by Dorothy would be great
I love Dorothy’s voice, it is amazing. I can’t recommend enough that you check more of her music. Flawless, Raise Hell, Down to the Bottom. She’s the whole package beautiful and talented. This is a great song and video. Thank you for sharing.
I've noticed her voice is different now compared to the older songs. It's more higher pitched now. One of my favorites is Ain't Our Time to Die.
Rest in peace. :p
Dorothy is next level
What a voice! She is absolutely STELLAR. MORE DOROTHY PLEASE, TCV!!!
Her voice is so powerful, and her live performances are amazing
I'm amazed this is your intro to Dorothy. Her voice is amazing and powerful. I put her there with Lizzy Hale, Amy Lee, and Ann Wilson.
Dorothy is amazing i love most of her songs
You need to react to some more Dorothy! I'm pretty sure I have recommended her band a handful of times. I recommend "Rest In Peace", "Down to the Bottom", and "A Beautiful Life", or "Ain't Our Time to Die". Most of those even have acoustic and/or live versions.
Yep. Who do you Love, Freedom, Kiss it
Love Creed, especially "My Own Prison"
That whole record is amazing!
Please do a deep dive into DOROTHY! She is AMAZING!!!!!!
As a recovering addict I know exactly where he is coming from. I've always loved the power & conviction in his voice
Yes, Dorothy on TCV! Hope this leads to more.
we definitely need more Dorothy. I've been suggesting her for AGES
@@briancollis1809 acoustic version of What's Coming To Me would be perfect. E would need out pretty good on it.
Dorothy has such and amazing voice. I first heard her in "Rest in Peace." I 've been a fan since. Saw her live, she can be clearly heard in the back row, that girl has some serious pipes.
Like David Draiman and Anne Wilson doing Don't Tell Me, this is another collaboration we didn't know we needed!
Scott's and Dorothy's voices are amazing on their own, but magnify each together.
Napalm is consistently bringing out some of the best rock today!
Dorothy is amazing, and I hope you will react to her songs like Rest in Peace, and A Beautiful Life.
A lot of her older songs are great too
@class5bodyworks any suggestions

A few of my favorites:
Ain't our Time to Die
Freedom
Kiss It
On My Knees
Woman
Flawless
28 Days in the Valley(the album) is definitely worth a listen. Has a 70s vibe to it.
ROCKISDEAD is more rock.
Enjoy!

Dorothy is such a great vocalist. Have been following her for a few years now
So. I knew littl of Scott- nothing of Dorothy. I am stunned by the incredible sound they make together. Just so perfect. New song to me- new song for me to find. Once more, TCV hits a homer!
SHE HAS BEAUTIFUL VOCALS!!! 😊🩷🤘✌️
Dorothy “Rest in Peace” acoustic is chef’s kiss.
First time hearing Dorothy's voice. Incredible.
Welcome to the bandwagon! We are always happy to make room for more! 😁
Check out her older songs. 28 Days in the Valley is a great album!
@@class5bodyworks Rockisdead was great, too. I love that this band almost reinvents itself with each album.
@@matthbva
That's for sure. ROCKISDEAD is rock and 28 Days is more of a retro 70s sound. Something for everyone
Dorthy is sooooo underrated. More Dorthy please!
Dorothys acoustic sets are an amazing powerhouse display. An absolutely amazing set of pipes. I am constantly surprised to see her youtube channel with less than 300k subs.
I discovered Dorothy years back when she/they were on tour with Halestorm. I hope you do a deep dive into Dorothy. Amazing soulful/bluesy voice.
Good song. I have been into Dorothy for a few years. Hopefully doing this song with Scott will get her some attention she deserves. Great to see Scott back and putting out some good music.
Definitely, for more of Dorothy, Rest In Peace is a great place to start. A much more...metal? Rock?....sound with her hint of country.
Please more Dorothy please please please. Such a soulful and powerful vocalist, many songs to choose from.
Loved the band creed back in the day.their first album is my favorite and they blew up huge in no time.alot of ppl hated them for whatever reason and they got a huge backlash.i think Scott has a beautiful, haunting voice...I know he did then .I haven't heard him since creed disbanded.looking forward to this review as always! I hope you had an awesome birthday elizabeth!
Creed’s 1st 2 Album’s Are Absolutely Amazing filled with Meaning Lyrics
Wonderful Vocals
Great Great Guitars
Fantastic Bass Lines
Top Notch Drumming
I'll always remember when my own prison was on the radio. Back before I could afford a cd.
Court is in a session.. love those two albums
My Own Prison and With Arms Wide Open are my favorites from Creed, great band, great voice and great lyrics, what more can you ask for?
@@vodkaa1 yeah I will never understand that concept.long as the music is good and makes me feel things I could care less about how big a band gets.
Creed, My own Prison, Pity for a Dime or One are really good too!!
Great vocals, Great band!
One of my favorite Creed tracks was "What If". They got a lot of flack for sounding too close to STP at the time, but it is still a favorite of mine.
Dorothy has several songs with great vocals. My favourite is probably Freedom because she shows you all her vocal power and strength on that song. Its like the floodgates have been opened.
Scott welcome back with creed can not wait for the new album
.
I recommend Dorothy- Whats Coming To Me acoustic for first full Dorothy video.
I noticed that you have not done an analysis on DOKKEN.
"ALONE AGAIN" is the band's big ballad song.
The band also had a song for one of the Nightmare On Elm Street movies
DREAM WARRIORS.
Thank you for your content and insight into the songs.
Creed "My own Prison" is a must for reaction if you ask me.
So glad you FINALLY found Dorothy - a super underappreciated talent. Great vocal control and power when needed. Check out her tune Rest In Peace.
Simply one of the best rock duets in a long, long time.
I definitely recommend seeing Dorothy live. I've done it 3 times now. First time was several years ago at a festival where she was performing at the side stage. It was early in the afternoon, sometime between 12P and 2P. A MASSIVE crowd gathered to listen to her set which is rare at such a time at this festival. Her vocals are very powerful.
Oh man I’ve been waiting for you to discover Dorothy! One of my favorite artists. Incredible. I also highly recommend In This Moment
So, so happy that you finally got to hear Dorothy! Long overdue. Hopefully you'll listen to some of her solo stuff next, talking about powerful.
Grew up listening to creed. Dad introduced me to them back when i was young still remember dad bringing home the tape. Finally got to see Scott Stapp live Oct 22 2022. It was amazing show saw it with my two brothers my mom and dad. Little did we know that less then a year later we would lose my dad to cancer. I am so glade that I got to see my dad smile while hearing the songs that we grew up listening to Truly and amazing artist. So we are going this year again to see Creed tour in remembrance of my dad.
Creed's "Faceless Man" is my favorite Stapp vocal...
Missed Scott's music, got into Creed, their music still holds up today!
"I know what FOOD they are!" my favorite moment! 🤣
#chickenwaffle #oatmealmolasses
sad we don't get Dorothy on her own, but soon? RIGHT? :D
Dorothy is superb in this song. You need to do an analysis of her alone. She has a voice for Rock. I would go with either Flawless or Gifts From the Holy Ghost.
What's Coming to Me unplugged would be my choice for a first Dorothy solo react, but would gladly take any of 'em. She's a superstar with a powerful instrument for the ages.
I'm a huge fan of Dorothy and I hope you do a lot more of her music.
Dorothy is definitely worth a deeper dive, she's got an amazing voice. She's done 3 albums so far, all with different sounds:
ROCKISDEAD was her debut, she uses a filter on her voice on this one like Ozzy does. Some highlights include Raise Hell, After Midnight, and Dark Nights (aka the Nutella video).
28 Days In the Valley had a 70s rock vibe to it which Lzzy Hale suggested she explore while they were on tour together. Flawless was the only real hit off this album, but I personally like Pretty When You're High and the title track.
Gifts From the Holy Ghost was her 3rd and best album imo. She stripped away most of the effects on her voice and delivered a straight up rock album. Best songs are Rest In Peace, A Beautiful Live, Black Sheep, and Gifts From The Holy Ghost. She also did unplugged versions of Rest In Peace and What's Coming To Me (a non-album single, this was the runner up on the patron poll a short while ago). Both of these are superior to the studio versions imo as they really show off her voice more.
28 Days is probably my favorite album. It is interesting how each album has a unique theme. Aint Our Time to Die and Freedom are two of my favorites.
Her 1st album was heavy bass driven, for me 28 Days, I got more the 60's vibe. Gifts is an amazing album. It encompasses her finding God, herself, and that life is worth living. The Pretty Reckless last album was the same the lines but coming back from depression.
Awesome choice for analysis. Dorothy is a really really powerful singer... not to mention Scott Stapp !!!!!!!!!!!!! P.s. I heard the song few days ago and thought.. "wow it would be so cool to see analysis on TCV" !!!!!!!!!!! AND HERE IT IS !!!!!!!!!
Love Dorthy's Music. Been a fan of Creed for a long time too.
I just listened to Scott's album and every song absolutely resonated with me. His voice still has all the power that it did from his Creed days
I saw Creed on their My Own Prison tour with Fuel and Finger Eleven opening; I don't care what anybody says that lineup was phenomenal, powerful, a sonic experience like no other
Now don't start screaming at me but I have not heard Dorothy before..... Now that has changed! An amazing voice, And Scott has always had a fantastic voice! Glad to see this.. 💕
"chicken and waffles?" 🤣🤣🤣 You are so adorkable! I love it!!!
Dorothy has an Ann Wilson quality to her voice
I'm blown away that you haven't reacted to Creed yet. They do some of my favorite songs of all time. Please, please react to One Last Breath at some point.
OMG IVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO REACT TO SCOTT STAPP IN GENERAL!!!! I LOVE CREED AND IM SOOO HAPPY THAT THEY RETURNED AFTER 12 YEARS!!!
PLEASE REACT TO CREED MUSIC LIKE ONE LAST BREATH, MY SACRIFICE, TORN LIVE MUSIC VIDEO, HIGHER, WHAT IF!
So happy you picked this song. I love Scott Stapp and am so happy that he's climbed out of the pit he was in and is flourishing.
I discovered Dorothy about a year ago and was blown away!
But could you imagine having an argument with Dorothy? She could tear you to shreds with her voice! 😮❤
I love both these artist, it's a brilliant song. Personally i have always been drawn to Scott's lyrics and delivery - and Dorothy is amazing - so glad they both moved through their life challenges. Now I'm going to go eat...
Scott Stapp is an amazing talent.♥️
Dorothy is amazing!! You should do a video for her song GET UP
I recently saw Scott at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall and he sounded absolutely amazing. I can't wait to hear him with Creed again and they also have new music
I never heard of Dorothy but I’m a fan now. I will also continue to follow Scott Stapp. Two powerhouse vocalists and artists in what they do.
Your Reaction to this Stripped Down Song was Absolutely Amazing. Since You Love these types of Songs, Dorothy’s song “What’s Coming To Me” Unplugged Will Move You Like It Moves Me. 💯
The walls we put up after dealing with painful life experiences. If another person could actually see, hear, feel it. The connection we could make…the understanding, the empathy. ❤
This was my first time hearing this. Wow, just Wow. This is my life, now sober 28 yrs.
A couple of my favorite Creed songs that I think shows Scott's range and emotion is "Wash Away Those Years" or "Beautiful" from the album Human Clay
They sound like they come from the same region of the country, and the gospel "taking it to church" style. Both great performers.
I hope one day (soon) you'll do an analysis of Dorothy's "It's A Beautiful Life" - besides being an awesome song, it carries a powerful message of positivity, self worth, and hope.
Glad that Stapp cleaned himself up! So much talent, but was circling the toilet on his last legs in Creed! Flawless gets my vote on a Dorothy reaction! Peace and Love to you!
I saw Scott Stapp opening for Chris Daughtry this January. If I could share some of the video I took of him, I would. He was incredible, even better than when Creed first came out.
I posted the above before I listened to your reaction. Again, I love your reactions. You’re always spot on and I usually skip reactions longer than 10 minutes, because I get impatient, but you’re are always so interesting and I almost always agree with everything you say. Your personalty is engaging. Keep up the good work.
I have always loved Scott's voice.
A Power Voice meets Power Voices 🙌 #letsgettoit
I am happy that you found Dorothy. I think you are going to be in for a fun ride. The song Who Do You Love would be a good one somewhere along the way.
Those harmonies are sublime! ✌️
Great Call

Dorothy’s Voice is Flat Out Amazing
Check Out Dorothy singing “What’s Coming To Me” Unplugged to get an idea of Dorothy’s Absolutely Amazing Powerhouse Vocals. Then Rock Out to “Rest in Peace” by Dorothy. Amazing Vocals Lyrics & Musicianship. The Charismatic Voice Will Absolutely Love It 💯 You Will Not Be Disappointed
I'm with you on "Rest in Peace"!
that whole unplugged session by Dorothy is freaking amazing. ANY of those tracks would be great reacts. I'm partial to What's Coming to Me but would gladly take any of 'em
@@briancollis1809 It Absolutely Is. Dorothy Crushes Every Song , it’s just that “What’s Coming To Me” Just Hits Different for Me. Dorothy’s Vocals are Absolutely Amazing 💯
Wow. I did not anticipate how these two would sound together and I absolutely love it!! Beautiful message as well.
It's good to see Scott away from all the turmoil and demons that haunted him previously, I hope he stays active in music.
Creed is going back on tour.
I followed Scott after he left Creed and "Slow Suicide" was one song he made after that I listen to often that helps me snap out of it when I'm not feeling the best of me.
Also can't wait for the Summer of '99 tour in California.
As a massive Creed and Alter Bridge fan I'm well aware of Scott's vocal changes over the years. This to me has become his sweet spot and I would love to see him do more duets. Dorothy was a great choice and I loved her last album. Rest in Peace = A+.
I love both of their voices. Scott Stapp is one of my favorite singers. Soulful and powerful. Please do a segment on the greatest male voice in rock. Steve Perry. Lovin, touchin, squeezin is an amazing vocal profile.
hes doing what eddie and layne did. hes just so powerful in his voice
This is the only reaction channel i watch. I just love her charisma, her genuine love of music, regardless of genre. You can just see the love in her face. How excited she can get when hearing new people she has never heard before.
Two gems together in harmony - love it!
Every time you premiere a song I haven’t heard of before I immediately go listen to it so I’m ready for the live chat the next day. I’ve heard creed before but not this song. I definitely recognized the singers voice
How did you like this song?
@TheCharismaticVoice it was good, if only these walls could talk and show others everything we’ve been through
Scott is amazing. Dorothy is equally amzing. Love her voice.
I have learned to listen to music in a different way since I started watching your channel a few years ago. I can't break a song down like you do, but I'm hearing things that I wouldn't have heard a few years ago. Thanks for helping me learn to music in a different way. I'm hearing so much more now.
Love creed! Scott Stapp’s “Dying to live” is an awesome song!
Suggestion time peeps! Thumbs up for The Babic! Red Handed Denial - “Father Said” (Lauren Babic live one take performance) Recentish version of Lauren who can sing beautifully and scream with the best of them.
Thanks for reacting to Scott. I've followed him and Creed since 1995.
We need a reaction/analysis of a Dorothy song next please. There are great live videos of her songs on UA-cam as well. I'd recommend her song Rest In Peace
Staind-Something to Remind Me is a must. Aaron Lewis’ vocals are amazing. There is a live performance video of just the guitar player and Aaron on stage that is phenomenal. I recently watched an interview with Aaron where he discussed going to see a throat doctor in California. This doctor had seen many famous vocalists over last 40+ yrs and Doc told him he had thickest vocal cords he had ever seen. Aaron’s voice is full of grit and emotion that shines on Staind’s rock albums, his own solo country albums, and solo acoustic tours.
This is EXACTLY what I thought of when watching Elizabeth react to this!
People hate on Creed, but Scott sings with such passion.❤
I always took it more as over play. I don't think Creed got as much hate because they were the ones that pioneered their sound. I think Nickleback came in and copied it into the ground and Nickelback took most of the hate deservedly. I tend to like bands that innovate a new sound or feel, and begin to dislike it once copycats or "recipe rock" start showing up. I think that exact same concept is what ultimately killed 80's arena rock and drove it into the ground to open the door for grunge. You had all the innovators like Van Halen, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Ratt, but then it kept getting recipe based copycats that began with the likes of Poison and Warrant and Jackyl. Musically talented but unable to create their own sound and ran 80's metal and arena rock into the ground.
Dorothy is amazing please react to some of her songs
