No he was like 63 or early 64 he passed away at 64 yrs old of throat cancer. He could have gotten rid of the cancer but would have lost his voice & he could not live with that. His life was entertaining the world & he did a magnificent job of that.

No problem, this is from my dads old tapes. He went to see Sinatra 4 times also and he's a major big fan of him. He taped mostly every special from the 80s and 90s that they had on tv. Also the basement is just full of Sinatra Records,memorabilia, and pictures.

As an African American Female, first in my generation to graduate college...I get choked up that Daddy did not get to see us graduate college, marry and give him grandchildren and great grandchildren...many who look like him ...Daddy died of a brain anuyerism at 44 years old years later...I used my savings to buy his marble headstone....Worked my way through college and helped siblings with their college and their kids through BBAs, MBAs, Dental School etc later in life....I still cry when I hear "That's LIfe" sung by Sinatra...RIP all of those who passed on.

Ultimately, there was a reconciliation between the two men and there was a successful tour in 1988/89, initially with Sinatra, Dean Martin and Davis, then with Liza Minnelli-The Ultimate Event.
