I remember being a young boy and seeing this live and I fell over laughing and to this day I still laugh so hard. Classic stuff that will live forever. There was a better time and place, man we need to bring back The Italians. Garzie Frankie and The Don.
Came across the video of Frank Sinatra telling the story of Don Rickles asking him to come over to his table because he wanted to score points with his date on the Carson show. It lead me down this rabbit hole of Don Rickles videos, and I’m glad it did. THE Roastmaster second to non. RIP to all the legends on that table who are no longer with us and bless those still here.
Beautiful years the 1960s and 1970s. Irreplaceable!
No swearing. No profanity. Pure genius.
I love this it makes me feel happy thanks for showing 😁
Way back when you could be politically INCORRECT, and people knew it was just a joke.
Also because of the massive talent that would always be on those roasts...they were talented and professional...nowadays these wanna be roasts are just entertainers cussing talking volgur with nothing to give the audience something to think about
Have you watched a roast recently? Its way more intense and non PC than this....... Moron
OK boomer
@@jamiekincaid255 There are zero Rickles roast videos without an oh-I-long-for-the-days-when-people-could-take-a-joke comment.
I could not agree more.
"Frank it's over." is the most brutal one of them all.
" & Lawanda you come in on Tuesday, just... the furniture “ 💀😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭
Don Rickles is pretty much the last of an era. They could make fun of each other and laugh at each other. The nation and people actually had a sense of humor and sadly those days are gone. RIP Don Rickles.
JoJo/Clem Kadilihopper RIP to thick-skinned individuals. Nothing now but melting snowflakes furiously attempting to remain frozen by fear and victimized by free speech derived from differing opinions.
What is this London? LMFAO !!!
Best line in the roast
could you explain that line? i didn't get it
@@zakur0hako i think he's referring to the great smog of London, it happened in the early 50's.
zakur0hako london’s always been known to be smoggy and also cloudy and just dank
zakur0hako The cloud of smoke when Frank lit up his cigarette caused Don to refer to London’s notoriously smoggy, overcast weather.
Don never stop talking , he didn't have script , his body just pump adrenaline and his brain goes in motion
"DEAN , IT'S MORNING" 😂😂😂
Better yet that Orsen Wells joke. Man he was a pisser if there ever was one.
actually Martin played up drinking for fun...in reality he was almost a tea totaller...look it up
@@tenisalot Sinatra was the same way. Jerry Lewis did state somewhere that Martin did start hitting the sauce a little hard after Dean's son died in an airplane accident.
Wow, such a collection of legends at this event. Incredible. And Rickles had all of them in stitches.
Glad I got to be entertained by all these folks and more like them.
We will never ever be so blessed to have talent like that on stage that just did things so naturally to make us laugh. I will always enjoy watching the roasts and laughing my rear end off
Anybody else who playfully insulted Frank Sinatra like that wouldn't make it back to their car alive.
But Don, and maybe ONLY Don, could do it.
( Their relationship started in 1957 ! These two guys really adored and respected each other. )
BruhTV because he pretty much was
BruhTV no because he constantly was in contact with the mob. Read a biography and you will see.
Take a look at the group picture....4th one down. eu.desertsun.com/story/life/entertainment/2014/12/02/sinatra-gangsters-in-paradise/70100078/
Don meet my bodyguard Mangonzo manganonzo!
Why does everybody say that you couldn’t speak like that to sinatra???
I watch Don Rickles and Foster Brooks Dean Martin roasts about every 4 months and laugh everytime.
Orson Welles, Ronald Reagan, Dean Martin, Milton Berle, Frank Sinatra, Don Rickles, George Burns... Legends
Don't forget Redd Foxx
@@ross1880 definitely Ŕed Fox was hilarious. Miss those old shows
And James Stewart
Take Ronald Reagan the fuck out of there! 🙄
@@valasproduktio1003 - He doesn't deserve to be included with those comedy greats
From a Brit, wonderful stuff, great times and a great era.
+Jason Jones Now you have to be a mind numbed Robot. Sense of humor is Obsolete. Nothing is PC. You can do Fuck jokes all day long. Anything else ? No . No fucking way. No pun intended. i think I might have just gotten away with a non Fuck bit of humor. I hope the humor police don't see it.
+crobarus We are watching you very closely.
dew02300 You'll get bored pretty quick. I'm not that exciting of a guy.
+crobarus The PC Committee will be the judge of that.
dew02300 But , who cares?
To laugh is to live in the moment...each sentence that comes out Rickles mouth is unique and hilarious, with lightning fast wit that brings most of us to tears because you know it’s said with genuine love and fun.
"It's over" and "you ask him" are 2 of his greatest put downs. Never get tired of hearing them.
The man was extraordinary and brilliant. Miss him😢

Just INCREDIBLE! Today’s “stars” should take notes...
From watching all these video clips it suddenly struck me that Don Rickles basically took over all those roast because he was the craziest funniest entertainer of everyone on the stage
So many of the truly great entertainers on stage together having the piss taken out of them by the late great Don Rickles. What a galaxy of wonderful people sharing a joke or three. Frank Sinatra the brightest star - the voice of the 20th century honoured by his peers. A wonderful evening. I would have loved to been sitting in that room with these incredibly talented people.
im an old sole and i tell you this is greatness at its best. that's a roast. nothing dirty like now a days. everything with respect.
Man.. I wish i was born in 50s ,so i could enjoy them,i dont want no internet , no phone..just give me these back.
That's what's amazing about non pc jokes like these.
When everyone can laugh at their flaws because they know they're not defined by them.
Seen this hundreds of times but every time he does the Gilly bit and Sinatra cracks up gets me everytime
