It's been a long time since you've made a day in the life video, it it would be awesome if you made another one like the one you made 6 or 7 years ago, starting at leaving the house in the morning to coming home in the evening.
Nice video Chris. Like the in cab commentary we sometimes get but I’ve got to say my second favorite close second is the outside the machine shots like around 10 minute mark.
Hello Chris. I wish I was able to work again. I would be happy to work with you. I have done the mud and shovel. Did poured walls in Georgia for about 8 months. Work slowed bills didn't. I operated a road grader for a city for a long time. 12 hour days. I fixed water lines installed meters and meter boxes. Operated a dozer not like yours a few more sticks to work than yours. I loved working equipment . Fire trucks and 6x6 non synchronization 5 speed. If you ever missed a gear you stopped and start over. I never got to try an excavator always wanted to. Great videos and work ethic. Take care of your body. One fall ended my work 5 years ago. It has rained here in Arkansas every week for last couple months. Water is standing in every pot hole and more rain coming.
Should have named this video "Letsdig18 the musical" with all the singing. I wonder if your getting Baofeng radios, I love those radios. Long battery life, long range with scanner, FM radio and NOAA. Use the optional mic \ speaker when off the equipment. Overall a great radio at the price that you will not cry if it gets run over.
New fan. Great machines. Subscribed. Truck mechanic that Just began wrenching heavy equipment and hauling mini’s excavators and cat tracks around. Biggest is a kubota kx057-4 with a large boulder grapple attachment. Probably 13,000 lbs. light weight but it’s a new CDL in Delaware. Still trying to get used to that feeling that I’m going to flip backwards when loading! Just being honest. Always take time to mess around and practice. Watching experienced operators interests me.
Tri-County Masonry & Excavating 'Dirt Boss' same here. Excavate all day, then watch Chris and Tim excavate (every now and again see the Uncle/Boss) on UA-cam.
Thanks for the great video mate ,one less person on site equals one less person you have to watch over ,104 degrees Fahrenheit here today ,lucky to live on the beach ,and I suppose burning your feet on the sand is a small price to pay. Cheers from down under.
When you had the still camera on the tripod you can see the hill on the right and the mound you built on the left. Will the gap in between the 2 mounds be filled or does it have to remain open? I no nothing about pond building but was just wondering. Unless there something there I can't see from the videos. Great work thou the project is really coming together!
Why would they not put the bridge in before the water is contained. At least the bullworks for the bridge. I can see your work is well thought out and planned so I know there a reason. It's going to be a beautiful pond.
@@chesterandchristiedavis7134 where about in cetral arkansas if your around beebe contact heritage excavation used to work for them the man that owns it is a geart guy hes got pans if his dozer and trackhoe dont cut it
Tim does have it made around there. He should be over cleaning out your cab while he's waiting for you to dump. That cab is supposed to be clean enough for socks...
How do you price out a project like this? Do you charge a flat amount, charge based on the time the project takes, based on the dirt moved, or something else. Just curious how you put a $ amount on a project this large that goes on for this long.
@@scotabot7826 I'm over here in the UK, here it would most likely be stocked with either Trout or Carp, I keep forgetting the southern part of USA is mostly Bass fishing where as the colder northern parts are my sort of fish like Pike.
Do you think yall will get a wheel loader if yall keep expanding, or another type of equipment? Or just keep buying the same eqiupment that you have now.
Cannot wait for the radios to turn up and see if Tim can understand what’s your saying on the dam thing. That will probably be the next thing, static and bad reception. Any how see what happens, if there no good you can use them at home. Peace!
Not sure if you are just excited about the radios or you got a bit recently because you are very chipper and super sassy today. I must say, whatever got you in this mood, keep it up....hehe
You got a giddy up to your step lately, you’ve talked more in the last few vidjas then you have all year, is logger wade giving you some youtubes lessons?

Tim will like the new radios. He will use the off switch on it alot.
Chris you always make great videos please don't stop I can sit here and watch them for hours.
The walkie/talkies are long overdue. They don't cost much but they SAVE money.
That's a Great shot around the 10:50 mark, Great one as always Chris.....
I’m just glad you are getting some two way radios . Maybe now some folks will be happy lol
Bit too much caffeine today! 🤣❤️
That compressor surge from the haul truck was nice
Love your videos! One of the best operators
Great progress.
hi Chris. hope all is well with you bud. thank you for the awesome content. stay safe out there and take care fella.
do you still beep to the truck when it is full even when you haul?
lol
I have lol

Cool shot emptying the dump truck. Thanks for the good videos!

I do believe it's about time for a new windshield wiper on the haul Truck. Looks like you got all your money's worth out of that one! Haha
Timmy seams a great worker, Chris 🙂
ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
Love the video Chris and thanks .
Have you ever tried using a sheep foot on your trackhoe in place of your bucket to compact a steep bank ?

Pretty fair explanation of proper slope compaction technique:)

Thought I herd that road is temporary and they were building some sort of bridge so the lakes connect or what is the plan. Thanks
How many yards of dirt does that bucket hold, from this camera angle looks like quite a bit
close to 3 heaped up
👍👍🇵🇪🐕 Chris and Tim
Will you sing the croc song and dedicate it to Mrs. Elite Earthworks?

Chris round is also a shape 😎
Chris, when loading the haul truck why do you start at the rear rather than in the middle or front?
Thanks
Jim
You guys take your time and come up with some nice handles for the radios that we will enjoy! Maybe you could go by "car ramrod"?
Thanks for the video.

didnt want all the construction traffic to go across it and damage it
You know, I think you may have mentioned that in an earlier video and it went right over my head. Dang, first time that ever happened. LOL

Wonder what the owners will stock into the pond will it be trout or muskie
Bass and Bream/Bluegill. Yea Boys!!!

funny lastnight i was watching Elite broadcast he was saying the timmy will be greasing your machine lol
Have you ever considered something like a cat 963 for big jobs?
You should do a all day live stream while you work! Lol
Woooo radios!
I see no leaning for timmy today.👍I love this channel. 👏👏👏👏
Chris the supper trucker!
You should make a " best of " album of all your improv songs, enjoy the videos.
Tim's phone problem is you kept parking a haul truck in his way!
Chris, America's Got Talent... isn't for you. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just got a CB radio for that exact reason.
So you can talk to Tim too? ;)

If we worked together your radio handle would be "Sinatra"
What do you mean, 'out of shape'? Round is a shape. That's my excuse, but you can use it.
What Radios did you get?( I'm a ham radio operator) another nice thing is an app called Zello Ptt.
You going to finish it today
chris why dont you have snow chains on the haul truck
Just curious, what radios did you get Chris?
Chris what does a job like that cost the customer?
Chris did you go somewhere to learn all this or is this from your grandfather and your uncle teaching you
ive learned most myself from trail and error
Your awesome
why dont you have track loader?
Hey friend
I continue to be puzzled by the layer of grey clay you show on this ( and some other ) site .

Just started watching you few weeks ago, was wondering why you didn't use radios... Seen you get frustrated at your nephew in a previous video lol
There will be no Failure To Communicate with the new Radios
RK Harm24 unless Tim got no copy
If you ever need a second job, I'm thinking you stick with equpment and leave the singing to others.... Ha! Nice camera work on this one.
What are you filming with out of curiosity.
go pro
nothing like doing the job twice rather than do it right first time, makes a lot more work that could of been avoided
Yous should install Voxer app it's like a walkietalkie for your phone

Poor timmy
it funny how people look at you with you hand wave
I think you need to go back to Florida and work out 🏋️♀️ on the beach for a couple more weeks
Problem is, most of us "work out" by laying in a lawn chair on the beach with a cold one in our hand.....
Too bad Nextel push-to-talk is a thing of the past.
