If we brought together Andrew Camarata from the US, Ants Pants from Estonia and Mattias Bjoernstrem from Sweden, these three could build a whole city by themselves and maintain it all forever ! 😅 Watching you from Paris and enjoying every single second of your videos ! Thank you SO much for sharing, Mattias !!!
There´d be a lot of "it broke for no reason", while one is swearing in estonian and the other one is blowing up rocks in the background.
@@YamahaYZFR6RJ05 hahahaha ! Yeah, for sure !!! 🤣🤣🤣
But I'm sure Andrew would LOVE to learn how to blow up things with Mattias !
💣💥
Post10 could have cleared that puddle with a garden rake. 😀
Diesel Creek and Torkelsen too

What a legend, how do you get a job where you run every bit of an airport, the skills and knowledge he has is astonishing.
He does 400 different jobs.
Not to mention he has to stop and set up a camera every 20 minutes. This dude works HARD
And great camera and editing skills
@@MarylandResident And "stupid" - as no other person, LIFTS a rolling wheel, that also has a raise lower (jackstand) function.
@@QUIX4U It's faster the way he did it. And it's not even that heavy. A little exercise won't hurt you.
What an amateur hour. You must be from a big city if this looked impressive to you xD
Zero skills involved, only some common sense used on this video.
"It is getting really hot here, it is, 10C"
me: cries on equator
Hehe 40 degrees here is what we call hot, though I struggle above 28 degrees. Summer is long... 10 degrees is peak winter hehehe
Meanwhile here in Guadalajara at 32C in the morning 🥵
Swedish summer! Best day of the year!
I realy need to move there.....10 to 16°C is about my favourite temperature.......maybe 20 sometimes
@@_MacGuffin_ Wait until summer's peak mosquito hatching time and I KNOW you'd swear to every higher/lower power you have in your vocabulary that you'd be were somewhere else ... the bugs are bigger than butterflies and more abundant than there's sand in Sahara. hahaha
I can't tell you how excited I get when I see that Mattias, our one-man-army, has posted a new video! And this one is no exception! Thanks for sharing! 🤟
You the only one working there?
Same same same same
Agree!!
Agree!
Mr. Bjoerstrom is pretty amazing that all terrain tracked amphibious snow cat thing is amazing. What better advertisement for it. WOW!
You took the boyhood dream of driving excavators and fire trucks all day literally 😂 awesome!
Just when you think this man cant get any cooler, he brings out a tank 😂
For a small town of 1,958 residents I must say you have a very well equipped airport. I live in a city of 400,000 and out International Airport doesn't have the equipment that you have. I am quite jealous.
With one heck of a budget
That's the nature of living in remote places. if and when something happens, you need to have the equipment to fix it yourself because there are no guarantee that someone else will be able to help you. If a small flooding occur at an airport in a city of 400 000 , they will just call _a_ "water-removal-company" downtown and have them fix it. They don't need to have the equipment themself.
I live in a town of 7,000 and our airport is just a grass strip in the middle of a corn field. 🤣
Seems like a well run operation. Lots of equipment and it all seems maintained and running good. Hats off to Matt.
I live in Florida USA, so it’s funny to hear you talk about the heat. I was in pain watching you dump water from your boots just thinking about how cold that would be. You live in a really beautiful place, thanks for sharing your adventures
Waterproof socks are really useful - even if water gets in they still work like a wetsuit to keep you warm.
@@eternaloptimist2840 Or wool socks, also works great :)
At least there are no alligators on this airport 😂
You can never get too much Hägglunds action. 😁
This bandvagn is just great, no wonder it is spread to so much armies over the world...
Thanks a lot for taking us with you to work!
👍👍👍
I can't begin to imagine going to work and getting to play around offroading in a Bv 206, that's awesome as heck
Thank you so much for not uploading shorts. You are known for real content 👍
Yes! Shorts are annoying.
@@paulbonomi8493 And all too often nothing more than bait to lead you to watch pure nonsense! This guy IS the real deal and one of very few who care about what he posts. Bravo I say
@@PeterGriswald Ugh, the AI shorts make me sick, especially if the voice only exists to describe what's already happening on screen for no reason.
Tick-tock and shorts in general are just trash in, trash out "content".
As long as you are allowed to film and share your work at the airport please continue as this is one of the best content on your channel. Really looking forward to the channel digging to remove the water next to the tarmac.
Your commitment to getting tons of exterior shots is impressive!
I wondered what you did for your job and why you are always wearing high visibility pants. Now I know. Multi talented Swede
Damn, that tracked vehicle is a beast. It looks really fun to drive.
We need more of these airport work videos! The camera and drone work is absolutely great!
That old Volvo fire truck sounds nice when it gets the snail whistling...... funny how that older equipment always wants to get up and go to work..... cheers from NZ
Give this guy a own airport, he deserve it
It's amazing what goes into maintaining even a small airport.
…and your camera work and editing are outstanding!! 👌
A very hard working young man with great work ethics.
all kind off good machines to drive on the airport.very nice jobb.
Your videos are by far the most interesting and informative on UA-cam. I only wish you uploaded weekly you are so talented my friend!
Agreed! but when would he find the time to do that? lol
Ah yes, the venerable Bv206.
Watching from Virginia, USA. Having the right tools and equipment makes all the difference in the world!!
He is the real, World's most interesting man.
BTW, you note English subtitles are available. Actually, auto-translate is enabled so numerous languages are available. I'm happy to see you've put out another video. It only took about 4 or 5 hits of my "Home" button for your new video to appear. Yes, I'm a subscriber. The fact that you're a "Jack-of-all-trades" is what keeps me coming back. I like your varied content; I never know what I'm going to learn about next! CH-CAN, Ottawa, Canada
When he said "I have to get the sweeper", I was thinking of one of those brushes. What he brought was a tiny bit bigger though 🤣
The bv 206 atv can swim. So no need to worry about the depth. Just make sure you remember the bungs in the bottom unlike a mate who forgot to put his back in after washing. When he sunk his in Port Stanley, in the Falkland islands during swim testing.
You are the hero of Pajala! Great video as always.
Guarantee your channel will reach in the millions! Great content as always!
we always discover new things with you, every time
Just found your channel a few hours ago, and already watched this video and the other recent one where you do various airport stuff. This is pure therapy for me. The airport is your playground ♥
honetly. Gets to play with all the toys available, but must be such a pain walking back and forth like 50 times a day
Always entertaining and fun! Thanks a lot Mattias! Looking forward for the next one!
Those Bandvagns are such an amazing piece of kit
What a great video. Not seen your channel before. If this is anything to go by I've a bit of catching up to do. You've really gone the extra mile in filming and editing. Well done indeed!
I thought you were going to get a road sweeper/washer for cleaning those markings but you got the fire truck instead. That was much more impressive to see.
Nice sharing Vidio.. very inspiring and useful 🇮🇩🚜😍❤️👍👍
It must be lonely being the only human in your country. You seem to deal with it like a champ.
He has my dream job. I didn’t know that until I started watching his videos.
Hi =) you are the core of real Swedes that hold this country together and functioning, I salut you and thank you for your service and your bright awaken soul
Awesome viewing. Thank you from Perth Western Australia.
Man is like keeping an airport going in a post Apocalyptic disaster... :D
I've now binge watched all your videos and have to wait for the next instalment😢. Whatever the next adventure, I bet it'll be great.
Nice job, lot of exercises, varied tasks, fresh air working outside, and driving some nice and fun toys! Thanks for sharing!
No doubt your a 747 Captain as well in your spare time
Entire 747 crew actually. Captain, First Officer, Engineer and and 8 flight attendants
@@MrCheshiresI’m not too sure if he has a dark side in him to be able to handle a job like airport security? Although it wouldn’t surprise me if he is a veteran, a member from Sweden Special Forces military?
@@tonepoem4438 With the level of expertise he has, I wouldn't be surprised if he was part of the Engineers in the Swedish army.
@@joelthorstensson2772 He IS the Sweedish army!
@@tonepoem4438 I wonder what would happen should an air disaster occur at this one-man airport. The last few videos have been real eye openers about how capable this (young) man is. He looks like hero material for sure. Crazy good content.
You better get Post10 with his rake over there to unclog that drain pipe
I recall a time when the U.S. Marines had one of those vehicles in the inventory. Pretty amazing and capable machines.
Mattias you are an extremely talented young man always so much fun to watch and learn from Rock on Big time
That Hägglunds track vehicle is amazing. Looks like the trailer also has drive power. Wow.
Not a trailer, technically, it's part of the vehicle. But yes, all tracks are powered!
Really fun to drive too.
@@hbhbhbhb I was trying to imagine it without the "trailer" and it seemed like it might be tippy. Makes me think of a caterpillar with lots of feet on the ground and flexible.
The push-pull configuration with the huge range of articulation in middle makes it almost unstoppable. It's like having a permanently ready to go winch setup. Amazing things.
For some odd reason that really doesn't look like work!!!! Looks like it would be way too much fun to be work!!!! Sure.. there are the miserable parts on occasion.. but.. yeah.. outdoors, mucking about, playing with big equipment.. sounds like a blast to me! Thanks for sharing, always look forward to your adventures and brings a smile knowing there are still people in the world that want to, can, and will do anything that needs to be done.
5/16/24..love your showing us all that airport maintenance equip. Great job pumping & sweeping & water spraying & pumping again to get that end of runway turn around cleared; now your pilots will be happy & their expensive aircraft will be safe from undesirable obstructions. Thx for taking us along on this very interesting video. Much enjoyed your overhead Droan views & comments. Lots of planning then heavy lifting to do this job but you & your equipment made it all look very easy...well...kinda easy!😊⚙️🔧🔩 Stay safe & carry on!👍😃
Those BV206 are really handy critters.
In ocotober I will go the first part of the course to become an operator of such things for Länsstyrelsen.
again i love your hose connectors!
Always cool watching you tackle a problem and use the tools to get it done. Pretty amazing how the body adjusts to temperatures…50-60 degrees F is war/hot after being in subzero temperatures. Beautiful scenery.
That tracked vehicle is pretty bad ass. I want one. LOL.
Bv206 underrated all-terrain vehicle
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing your work With us! Greetings from Germany
First time here, and have to say: It is great to watch someone maintaining something. Be it a vehicle, aircraft, watch or someone draining water from an airport and cleaning up the mess. This is oddly relaxing to watch. Also want to add, that Volvo firetruck sounds amazing....
I've just found my new favourite UA-cam channel. Love your work.
takes pressure washing the driveway to a whole new level ! :D
Excellent video. Very informative. Thanks for sharing.
i'd be happy doing this job. that BV206 is awesome!
Please keep the airport videos coming. It's so interesting to watch. You sure got an amazing and unique job out there. Thank you. Take care from Canada eh!
Those Hagglund machines are VERY fun to drive.
Very intuitive controls on that water cannon.
Great to see you in action as always Mattias
Wow, Bv206 works as if just came out of the factory. Hägglunds at its best, Greetz from Örnsköldsvik kommun :)
Your skillset is very impressive
Really liking these videos at the airport!
Excellent video!
That BV206 really does the works!
Don't recall hearing about it but fixing that depression somehow might be in order. However that's going to happen.
Can't do this every spring thaw.
Another fabulous video. Thank you Mattias, brilliant as always ❤
What an amazing shot at the end under the snow 😲🥰
Love those hägglund bandvagn, its a dream like the volvo c303 or tp21
Man....What a wonderful job you have. I would love it. Very nice video as usual.
Def would be interested in a video if ever have to do any mechanical work or repairs on the BV 206!! Looks like a lot of fun very interesting part of the world to live in!
These videos are soo calming, i love this channel
The airport can afford all of this equipment because they only have one employee . BTW, who is up in the tower right now monitoring the airspace! Another great video! :)
It's a non-controlled airport, with AFIS only. This is very normal in urban parts of Scandinavia and the Nordic countries where you need a "manned" airport to be able to use for commercial flights - but don't want to pay for ATC with only 1 or 2 flights per day at max. So all clearences comes from the radar sector above the airport that the person in "the tower" relays to aircrafts and at the same time provides traffic information - hence you might have noticed the last video when Mattias said "runway free" because he cannot clear an aircraft to land, he can only relay the information
@@mews_seWhat is particularly peculiar to me is that an uncontrolled aiport still has an ILS! The airport only has like 8000 passengers. Must be some gov/military sponsored thing..
@@rkan2 🤫
@@rkan2 The government policy is that even municipalities with very low population densities can't have _too_ terrible communications because then they just have no fighting chance. So, yeah, there are some airports with very low traffic but a surprising amount of infrastructure. It doesn't really cost all that much to do but it makes remote parts of the country less isolated.
Some of those airports are former military airfields from the Cold War era, but this particular one isn't; it opened in 1999 when the Swedish air force was busy trying to get rid of everything it could.
That ending was a perfect Diesel Creek intro.
My thoughts as well ;)
Love the Hagglunds bandwagon 👍🏻
nice hose connectors,
Yay more airport stuff ! I’m loving this
43:20
That's an incredible, unintentionally awesome shot. You can see the water turn from murky brown to clear...after the water blew the camera around a bit.
Gonna be a good morning when I see you uploaded.
Amazing content, beautiful shots and simple and to the point editing, love it!
That amphibious vehicle is sweet!
What a great job and what a lot of fantastic toys to do the job :) man that Hägglund is a beast
It's amazing how much work one man has
Just got to love that BV206 :D
I remember watching you convert the old belt loader for firewood and now this content. I'm excited for the future content from the airport aswell as your personal projects :)
bro just having fun every day
Amazing to see 1 man doing a 4 man job! 👍👍
Your channel popped into my feed earlier today, and I have tell you I am so glad it did. What an absolutely cool job you have! If I were a young man again, I would be all over that action lol. You get to be around planes, clear them for ARR/DEP, Weather stuff, work on all sorts of cool things. You get to play with all kinds of cool trucks etc. even a freaking Fire Truck!! I mean it just doesn't get any better. Or does it? lol. AND you get to be outdoors in a very beautiful setting! I have subbed and look forward to watching all your older content as well as the new. be well and take care. Matt, Murphy NC, USA
I can't escape the impression that your entire job is just an excuse to zoom around in various epic vehicles, most notably that tracked thing. 😄
Just found your channel. Great videos and what an amazing job you have! Greetings from EFIV!
this looks like it'd be very fun. but also alot of hard work.
Hello sir, from Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬
Another absolutely brilliant video. I reckon you run that entire airport. Even your van is parked outside on google Street view.
You can't beat the almighty Hägglunds Bv 206, extremely capable with a high angle of climb and descent and great swimmer.
I'm not a fan of that fabric fire hose, it splits so easily. I much prefer our British Angus Duraline
