Hi from Australia... It's amazing how the excavator can work so close the the excavation wall digging in the water with any clasping!!! Awesome video👍😎🇺🇲💪
What are the challenges of maintaining the equipment under those conditions of dust mud and water? The stuff just gets caked all over the machines if anything is unsealed or exposed to the elements it surely fails quickly.
@@atlasearthworks I could imagine if the lime dust wasn’t moist the thin particles would easily penetrate into seals and wear on bearing and hydraulic pistons being the dust is extremely fine and course. Yup I’m sure it is a challenge to keep enough of the slurry off the radiators to prevent machines from overheating. Thanks for the reply 👍

What is the material used for?
It's processed down to various sizes and has a lot of uses. Gravel, road base, and even water purification are just some of the common uses.

It's difficult for sure. The limestone dust mixes with water to create a slurry that cakes on and is very difficult to wash off.

Why do I feel like I am at a rock concert? Can't you tone it down to about 100 decibels?
