Thank u sir for great revelation about underlying indian characters.
Sad, indian princes were more in vulgar show off playing polos in europe n fooling around with european women whereas their subjects were poor n deprived of humane living at home. One can see cruelty of indian kings on native populations.
2nd part on Jadoobala sounds interesting. Looks like some indians were in circus li ke entertaining
Business for past centuries.
At the end, it can be said average native indian suffered at the hands of indian n mogul kings then british taking advantage of their unkind behavior for their own benefit. Californian
The living standards under princly states were better than the living standards under direct British rule. Despite the fact that the Princes were powerless in most aspects. Indian princes supported Indian businesses and laid foundation to many important institutions which still survive today. Regions that were under Princely rule still lead in many aspects compared to the rest even today.
Thank u sir for taking us deep into princely state economics.
Particularly trustworthy because, words are coming from Aussie with English background
Who owned banks in princely states n what princes gave to society to Harvest such opulence living n having magnificent buildings n its inner furnishings? Did they promote human health n education n human rights for who lived n worked under them?
