Then 2009 happened. I lost my job, we lost the house, and we’re never really in a stable situation after that. Now we’re divorced, and our house is valued at double what I was paying for it. SO… when asked when was America great, I’d say pick a time between 1982 and 2008 and I think most would agree, it was pretty friggin great compared to what we have now!
