Dear foreigners, Let me explain something about American politics. Whenever you get a "first Black [X]" elected to a given office, the next person to hold that office is usually the white candidate who is perceived to be the most racist. Thus, the 2016 Republican presidential primary was a competition to see who could be the most racist, with the winner very likely to also win the general election, because racists who normally don't vote come out to the voting booth in great numbers on election day in this circumstance. What shocks me about the 2016 Republican presidential primary is that none of the other Republican candidates seemed to understand that they were in a competition to see who could be the most racist. This is surprising because Republicans are usually very sophisticated about using racism to get elected. Either Trump was the only candidate who understood what was needed to get elected, or he really is more racist than the other Republican candidates and didn't bother pretending otherwise. Anyway, those who voted for Trump will always see him as the "great savior" who rescued America from the "shame" of having a non-white president. Trump voters will remain loyal to him until they can no longer vote for him, and they will always see the Democratic party as the source of their humiliation because Obama ran as a Democrat. We Americans are really bad about saying this stuff out loud because, well, most of us are more racist than we realize. Denial tends to obfuscate things.

Dear foreigners,
Let me explain something about American politics.
Denial tends to obfuscate things.
then why didn't romney win ?? ... also obama embarrassed trump at the dinner ...
Only one black President has been voted for so don’t act like you’re writing on precedent. You’re as bad as these hive mind republicans

If I had been shown this video ten years ago, I would be likely to believe that it was footage from an alternate reality in the multiverse than it showing the future that would come to pass in this dimension.
I think it's inevitable at this point. Even a conviction and jail sentence won't keep the masses from voting for him. He will never be the pariah, only the innocent Messiah to his base.
