Keep up the good work! I do feel as though I were sitting across the table from you as you explain techniques and provide inspiration. The nudge you gave today to make one’s knitting their own is something I admire but for some reason have a hard time doing. I don’t want to take the time to knit a sweater that will be like others nor like one you could find in a store. I’m watching from Michigan.
Omg, I received that catalog in the mail just last week and have been fixated on that sweater pattern ! and another and have not been able to find anything like it. I live in Arizona so for winter time a vest is the perfect answer for cooler weather; sweaters don’t get as much use as when I used to live back in the Midwest. I like your thought process and I’m going to try to experiment. Thank you for this!
Hi Nancy, I live in South Africa and love to watch your podcasts. I would like to knit the "Boxes and Towers Shawl/scarf". You said yours was knitted in a fingering weight yarn. Did you hold the yarn double or single? Please would you tell me what size needle you used? Also what size the scarf ended up being, if you held it single. Thank you.
The Juniper Moon yarns are very pretty colors I don't do scarves I think it would make a really fun Dickie and there are a lot of cute patterns out. I may need to look into that.
