I genuinely dont understand how someone who is going through something like a transition, also going through a messy divorce, has a 4yr old kid, no job, contemplating bankruptcy, moving across the country and SOMEHOW has time to be getting into a new relationship? Like priorities. Take time to be alone.
Unless I missed it, he didn't mention how / when he got together with his current partner. I'm thinking it could very well be that he cheated on his wife with this person and conveniently left that out. No I don't know for sure but it might be what happened. It would help explain how hostile she was during the divorce. Not to mention, it would be very hard to establish a relationship in his current position, it would make a lot more sense if he was already in the relationship
Probably going to catch hate for this - this is not an adult that should have 50/50 custody of a child. Made the 4 year old sleep on the couch of a stranger because of homelessness, refuses to get a job, actively waiting for mommy to die to get an inheritance, etc. And actively abusing the good hearted nature of the current partner doesn't seem like someone that suffered as explained. We already know there is zero accountability being taken for the finances, it seems like that is probably a theme.
@@DodoLPhe’s wrong bc he decided after getting married and taking a vow then bringing a child into the marriage to appropriate women and pretend he’s not mentally unwell.
I've noticed a common theme on people in the show is that they're highly emotional and cannot answer a simple question directly without a long rambling irrelevant backstory
Because they want to justify their actions so that the person they are telling something to (Caleb + the viewers) appear as a victim and not have to take responsibility.
@KyleJones1337 I dunno, half these scholars cant even state what their damn job is or how much money they bring in monthly. I really think theyre just not logical people and the cold hard math of cash in minus cash out is destroying them. Kinda like 600lb lifers not understanding they are eating too many calories which is why they are fat
Exactly! We purchased one of those same trucks for $800 needed a little bit of work done but all in maybe $1100 and all paid for no loans! That is NOT a truck you should have a loan on!
@@lisawynne1995personally I think trucks hold value well. You probably lucked out. I just traded my 2010 in for $11,000. Probably could have got more private. I doubt a 3 year older vehicle would be that much less.
If I’m 6 months into a relationship they already wrecked my car and now I’m sitting and listening to them contemplate bankruptcy you bet your ass I’m OUTTA THERE 😳
@@TonyCox1351 I hear you but I wouldn’t put it past an extremely religious person to make up lies about their trans husband in order to get full custody if what they’re doing goes against everything they believe in. Cis gender people do stuff like that all the time just out of spite
We don’t have enough information to make the call either way. There’s a reason judges get both sides of a disagreement to attend court and make their case, rather than just hearing from one side.
@@IndiaNumberOneCoubtry I don’t have enough information to feel confident with her watching a child. Nor do I have enough information to conclude that her Ex would be acceptable. My point remains that one person seeming bad doesn't make their Ex "the more responsible one".
I’m still stuck on the “my Lawyer was wonderful and is letting me pay on my own time” but then is ready to declare bankruptcy which means this fantastic lawyer will get barely anything for all their time, effort, and compassion.
ex wife made a very foolish decision to marry this financially irresponsible man-child so I really don't care to hear what she thinks, she's almost as much of a hopeless case as this dude. Plenty of women are shallow and marry useless men simply because he's tall, handsome etc. and this is what happens smh
Mooches off parents. Mooches off lawyer. Mooches off new love. Puts dying vehicles before debt repayment. Let’s daughter couch surf. Gets involved in a marriage that is bound to fail because it starts in deception. This is just irresponsible. I can’t with this one.
Delusional, Irresponsible, ENTITLED, first marriage you can guarantee started in deception and now "current" relationship also started in deception. This person takes absolutely no responsibility for everything. Absolutely couldn't agree MORE with you. I just can't with this one.
lol my oldest sister asked our dad if she could have her part of her inheritance earlier to buy a house… my dad was like 50 years old at that moment 😂😂 how does she know how much she’ll get IF we get something? 😂 I thought it was sadly funny. I think the worst part of it is that they‘be not been talking to each other for years when she asked that. The balls on that girl.
In the context of a public interview with a person that hates children, I feel like "the kid" is just fine. Also, she's autistic and likely does some mirroring of Caleb who calls them the kid.
I think the worst part about this wasnt even the debt. It was the taking advantage of the new partner, falling back on mom and grandma, giving up because "Oh well I'll get a $250,000 inheritance". Overall super gross and irresponsible I've been bad with money in the past but no way I'd just give up that easily.
All of the borrowing from mom will be a regret. It is disgusting to talk about inheritance as if it is a retirement fund because someone has to die for you to get it. It doesn't feel good to gain a bank balance at the expense of a parents life.
Having a divorce and moving can super fuck you not that’s the end all be all but those two things threw a monkey wrench in a life. She could be a 100% better but I can see where the bad ball started really rolling
I haven’t watched yet, literally two minutes in and I can tell I’m not going to have much sympathy for this person- -that said, I’ve tried to figure out how it’s cheaper to change my own oil, and it just objectively isn’t, at least where I live 39 dollars for an oil change at the mechanic vs 31.99 for the oil and filter from the auto zone and my time I’m sure this person doesn’t utilize their time well, but it’s still probably the only financial reasonable thing they do
@@iistheknight for me it’s the peace of mind in doing it myself. I’ve been to a number of shops where they screw some minor thing up. They don’t tighten the filter properly, or the drain plug or they underfill it. Then there is all the up charges and pitches to sign up for some credit card. Plus, I’d rather be doing the work than sitting in a jiffy lube lobby watching dr. Phil and listening to customers and kids scream. I know not all shops are like this, but plenty of them are. If you’ve got a mechanic you trust, I think you’re right. There is no financial benefit to doing your own oil change, but peace of mind is a factor.
@@joelthemodelcitizen For sure, the mechanic has known the family for 15 years and the one time one of his guys messed up and didn’t fill the oil all the way, he fixed the whole problem and didn’t charge us for it. I listened to the episode now and the oil change was just laziness on this guys part. Sadly an oil change really is a nuance thing where someone like myself trying to get out of debt has to calculate the cost of dropping the car off to get an oil change while I work vs the time id spend doing it myself, and the 8 dollars I’d “save” using my weekend freelance job time to do it myself isn’t financially responsible
Depending on the vehicle it's actually cheaper to get your vehicles oil changed at a quick lube. If your goal is to save money you'll do what's cheaper. (But it doesn't cost anything extra to check the drain plug and oil levels after the quick lube just to be sure)
@@iistheknight I live in TX and the avg oil change costs $100+, maybe $85 if i can find a coupon or promotion. 5Q oil + filter for under $40 at my local autozone so I always save over half by doing it myself.

This person trying to single-handedly prove Caleb wrong when he tells people their kids will feel obligated to take care of irresponsible parents when they're older and broke.
In the state of Michigan the courts consider it kidnapping if you move more than 100 miles away from the other parent without the parent and a judge signing off on it

To be fair they have been seperated/in the divorce process for a year and a half, and in the new city for a year ish. Not that outlandish, although not what I would do.
@@80aj21I had to hear this at one stage in my life and it was tough to here, but at some point you shouldn’t date simply because you have nothing to offer your partner. Saying you don't deserve your partner isn't a red flag at all. In fact, it's a green flag because the most successful relationships are often typified by a strong undercurrent of gratitude. However, like all things, it's contextual. In the case of this person, everything is a red flag.
@@Poemiserable more often than not, saying you don't deserve your partner is a red flag. Whether it be from self esteem issues, using those words in order to manipulate, or to make yourself feel better, etc, it's often used in those ways. Saying you don't deserve your partner means there's something wrong going on with yourself mentally that you need therapy for or the relationship itself needs something to change or you need couples counseling.
What are you talking about? She got a IT certification, she opened up her own business (obviously it failed but initiative is initiative), how tf is that a parasite? She got dealt a number of bad cards having to move states because her child was taken from her, divorce, falsely accused of abusing her own child and other insane shit, taking up debts for paying lawyers etc All the while dealing with internal mental struggles about who they are as a person. Fuck off with this judgmental bs.
To be fair, that could really be the case. The child likely doesn't understand what's going on, they just know that they went from having this person around all the time to not having them present a lot of the time. I feel really bad for the kid, I hope she turns out ok.
That kid is definitely traumatized. It’s like their father passed away. Why is daddy dressing up and acting like a girl mommy? Why did he change his name to Venessa? Where is my dad mommy? I miss my dad!
This person literally cares more about their 17 year old truck than their 4 year old daughter, who is flesh and blood. They only talked about their parents in terms of how wealthy they are, and how they could be used as a means to an end to get into more debt. And worse still, their partner is encouraging them on this ego trip to go to law school and do whatever they want and shirk all responsibility. This one was just gross. Anyone who cares more about trucks than their kids, or who views family as dollar signs, needs some serious help.
This is a professional victim. The whole world is unfair to them and they will never take any credit for the mess of a life they are leading. Good God I fear for this child.
Psychologically, it's actually very simple to explain. It's usually down to one of two things. One, they're a narcissist to the point that they want the attention more than they care about the bad press. Two, a lack of self-awareness and a kind of cognitive dissociation allowed them to get into the debt in the first place. That probably relied on them externalising their mistakes for years, to remove themselves from blame or responsibility. So, in a lot of cases, the person is incapable of seeing that they're the problem and they assume that Caleb won't see that they are either. They think he'll identify some other boogie-man that's to blame instead. And, give them some easy pointers to fix it.
Because what they actually want is Caleb to say "This actually is not that bad. your spending is pretty good, you're just getting screwed by the world" That and people like to be on camera
It’s funny how people who are chronically bad decision makers with their lives also do not want advice on how to recognize bad decisions. I guess that comes with the territory.
Let me get this straight: this person has been accused of “diddling” their kid, blames the ex wife for everything bad that has happened between them, takes advantage of their partners naive generosity, is so irresponsible with money that they would rather declare bankruptcy than take ownership and crack down on their spending, and eager for their grandmother to die to receive their inheritance, and when presented with the sad reality of their pathetic choices has nothing to say but to deflect onto the “quite of bit of money” they have coming their way? And this person is a parent? This is one of the sickest things I’ve seen. God help that child.
Dude sometimes I see people get massive amounts of money and I'm like bro how are people doing this?? I don't understand. Do people take out a shit ton of loans?
Yeah, that felt like a crazy statement. The only trucks that are truly going up in value are the small ones, and it's because the economical, compact-to-mid-size Truck is seeing a resurgence after being dead for 20 years... Personally I think it's because Gen Z and Millenials have realized you can get like 80% of the utility of a pickup while also getting good gas mileage. It's why Mavericks and Santa Cruzes fly off lots, and old Toyotas and Nissan trucks don't stay on lots (atleast not where I live). Every other kind of Truck is following a normal depreciation curve. That or he is confusing the general used car market's weird behavior over the last 3 years (due to COVID shutdowns BTW) with a Truck obsession.
I guess they haven't checked the market in the last few months... No one is buying trucks, auto manufacturers can't sell them because they are too over priced lol.
Ripping a child from their home and other parent IS traumatic as hell. That being said, with the debt, the weird way she spoke about her own child, the way she seemed to only focus on the burden of the childcare, backwards priorities, and the way she took NO responsibility for ANYTHING in her life tells me this poor kid is going to need therapy for more than the kidnapping.
I would have removed my child too. Seems unstable and unsafe for a child to be around. Also who would want their kid living in an rv with them and their gf??
Ya not sure who in their right mind would want their child to see their parent become mentally unstable and then permanently damage their body. Good on the mother to remove him and divorce him
The way he says “diddling the kid” when speaking of his own child. You’d think someone would put that differently. Not so lightly. And say MY CHILD. She wrongly accused me of touching my child. Not “diddlin the kid” yuck
“My wonderful partner, who is way too sweet and trusting…” “I don’t deserve my partner. They’re far too wonderful for me.” When people say things like this, they’re being honest. Listen to them. They know their partner is too sweet and trusting which translates to easily manipulated and blind to the narcissistic tendencies they’re subject to.
Or they suffer real mental health problems. I used to think that anybody who cared about me was too much cuz I had severe self-esteem issues but it doesn't feel like that in this case
@@DamisBerruttiAw I was gonna comment something similar. It’s 100% a red flag in this context, but those phrases could also point to someone with deep shame and/or relationship issues. I had to unlearn that because I would make unnecessary sacrifices to try and “earn” the love my wonderful partner had already shown me. But then you lose focus on your own life and friends.
No one whose spouse is abusive and kidnapped their child would ever fight for 50/50 custody, thats a bs story for sure, I'd be interested to know what really went down
Imagine being such a deadbeat parent that you won't take any job possible to support your own kid and provide her with a decent future and you would rather be preoccupied with your car and new partner.
Thank you! Any responsible parent knows that you would apply to jobs that just require a pulse in order to support your kids. You can’t cherry pick the jobs you’re willing to do. You go out and grind. The entitlement reeks from this guest
@FlexedNoose big disagree. Wife was doing what was best. And we don't know how long it was before they removed their child from this situation after hearing the transition decision.
As a lawyer, they will not admit you into the Bar with a recent bankruptcy. You have to pass moral character and fitness which includes a credit check. If you have money problems you’re seen as high risk for stealing or abusing your fiduciary duties with client trust funds. They will not allow you to be an attorney if you have significant money troubles. I knew someone who had a bankruptcy on file from over a decade before and he had to do a bunch of additional things to get admitted to prove he had rehabilitated his money issues. It doesn’t matter if mom takes out a parent plus loan, you’ll do all that work and will end up with a JD without becoming a lawyer and have to be a paralegal.
I've never heard of this but it makes so much sense! I wish there was a similar requirement for healthcare practitioners to be of sound fitness before getting a license. I'm appalled to see other nurses and doctors smoking or having a giant gut telling their patients to change their lifestyle 🤦♀️
But he's trans, so doesn't he automatically get exceptions for every policy that exists in the law? Family guy said it best: "You're trans? I'm sorry. Do whatever you want all the time."
The saddest part of that is that you don't even need any kind of higher education to be a paralegal in some states, and some attorneys actually prefer that you not even have any prior experience so they can train you. My mom had to switch careers after a bad car wreck in her mid-40s and an old high school friend of hers hired her and trained her, she turned out to be an excellent paralegal.
You know they're clinically insane when they say, "I actually hate car based transportation," after saying they love their two vehicles and their lifted truck that "drinks a lot of gas" and they take off roading.
A good parent would recognise 50/50 is best for the child so they could have relationships with both parents (provided no abuse etc) so a true good parent would only pursue 50/50.
Can you imagine getting into an Uber and this person is your driver and you have to listen to their nonstop BS the entire 75 minute drive to the airport?
@@brandonporter1990 I’ve lived in tiny apartments with fighting parents… my abusive mom has absolutely said stuff like this. No matter how terrible the experience for him, my Dad would never phrase it that way. There IS a difference.
Ok look. I'm literally going through a similar situation. My ex started transitioning after we had been together for 10 years and had an 8 year old (he's 9 now). We live 2 hours apart from each other and meet halfway so we each get to have equal time with our son. So that, "I cant leave Tucson, my son is here." is BS. You do what you need to do to support your child. This person just doesn't want to do anything for themselves.
My stepdaughter's mom moved 2 hours away as well, we meet every other weekend halfway so she can spend weekends with her mom. Earlier on we lived in Texas and she lived 13 hours away, we still met halfway every 3 weeks (this was before she was in school so we could do long chunks of time). You make it work

You know, after watching the whole thing, I just feel badly for the ex-wife. Based on all our context clues, she was a Catholic stay-at-home mom with a house and a husband, who woke up one day and was told her husband was transgender (and, it seems, not allowed to have any feelings about that whatsoever). Meanwhile, Willow goes around acting as though the ex-wife was some sort of red-pill fantasy villain who upended _Willow's_ life. (By the way, the ex-wife and child would've had to have been in Arizona for at least _six months_ without any objection from Willow for it to be considered the home state of the child for purposes of custodial determination. So, being cynical -- and based on what was said in the episode -- it seems like the desire for 50/50 custody might have had a lot more to do with not wanting to pay child support than it did with wanting parenting time.)
@@nagkampa2781It is very difficult legally to get 100% custody for a child unless one parent just doesn’t care/ is negligent/ is abusive. Sometimes courts still give partial custody to documented abusers. Wanting 50% would read as wanting the kid to still have both parents, which if both parents are nice people, would generally be better for the child. Wanting 100% (to basically take your kid from their other parent) is super selfish if that parent is a good parent and person.
Exactly. People, including Caleb, almost making the ex into a villain. Her whole world literally got turned upside down and pissed on. Her husband said he wants to be a woman and now she has to navigate if he's sound mind enough (clearly isn't based on this episode)
I don’t like that she said the wife was abusive but then also said she only wanted 50/50 custody. If you believe your partner was abusive then you should be fighting for primary custody
She probably was upset that her husband wanted to suddenly transition into a woman. Perhaps they are calling her upset reaction as abuse? Who knows. Since they have an IT Degree, Surely they could apply for a Remote IT or even Customer Service Job? Sorry, but looking at their face, I was reminded of a certain infamous NY face that’s been in the news lately named Rex. Not saying they are similar people at all, but this person on this video seems like a user and manipulator. Always Excuses and Sob Stories to get Women to give Them what they want and Need. This Person relies on Mom and wants to Spite their Ex-Wife! Does this person have Medical Debt from transitioning?? Perhaps looking to erase that expensive debt too?
So my feeling about this episode is this: this is not a person looking for help or a wake up call. This is a person looking for a justification. I feel like they came here hoping that Caleb would be like 'yes you're totally right you need to declare bankruptcy and you're on the right track because your debts are that bad.' And in reality, the debts aren't that bad. The debts aren't catastrophic, and they have no answers because they have no desire to do anything but get confirmation that they're correct. They're not looking for a solution, they're looking for support for their decision. But that tracks with their mindset that since it's happening to them, their discomfort matters more than actually being an adult. They're unwilling to change or accept that they might be the problem with their financial situation.
@@Mwap439 Some have and some haven't. The ex-wife refused to go along with his "decision" and she bailed. The rest of the world isn't obligated to support you in whatever you do. That's just the cold hard reality of life.
The wife didn’t kidnap the child. She moved in with her parents because he was working and she needed to get a job and live separately which the only place safe was her parents.
Where is that stated in the show? Are her parents in another state or same state? There are laws in place for that So by law; it’s considered kidnapping. Also, does she know where her child is?
Twenty seconds into a conversation with this person I’m getting annoyed and finding a way out cause you know they’ll talk about their problems for 45 minutes without letting you get a word in edgewise
"All I need to retire is that $250k inheritance." Tell me you're the most financially ignorant and irresponsible person I've ever seen without telling me...
@@sdm1568 Well ....not everyone lives in the USofA. Some of us live in a more expensive location. And $250k isn't a lot.of cash nowadays. I know how to budget....it's my job and I'm incredibly good at what I do.
As someone who grew up poor and is no stranger to financial hardships I can say that it is easy and exceptionally tempting to cut corners on the budget by skimping on insurances. A $40 difference in insurance rates can make or break a budget.
The scary part is he has 50/50 custody, I wonder how long it would take before they decide their kid is also trans which happens to many children. If you are Trans, that is fine, but don't expect everyone to tip-toe around you.
Trans or not, you don’t make a life altering decision when your family is struggling! It’s equivalent to a part having a mid life crisis and deciding to quit job to become a singer or painter - something to that effect. Willow should have focused on protecting their family financially. Also when you are a parent it isn’t about you and your personal identity anymore. You become a unit with your family. When your kids get older, you can get more involved with hobbies and further defining your individuality. When you are married and a parent you have to first think of your family and how your decisions may affect their lives. You may really want something and have access to it to make you feel better or feel more you but you have to ask yourself … “how would I be happy if I couldn’t have access to this decision” and hopefully the answer is - “the love and wellbeing of my family”. They always come first just as your spouse would put you and your child first when it comes to their decisions. You become as one and it isn’t only about you- it sucks for a lot of people to hear that but it’s just the truth. Always make decisions based on what will move your family forward in harmony rather than first seeking your own interests.
You said this very well. Marriage is a commitment to FAMILY. You are supposed to sacrifice for them to be one. I feel bad for the mother not (possibly) realizing they are a narcassist
That person is spitting on all commitment made I don't know why they always go for very Christian faithful traditional women. I am sure if he felt like transitioning he could have found a woman who accept a trans woman and have children and be this way from the start. Why go ruin a life to a woman who dream of a traditional Christian husband ? He mad evows on front of her the church God her parents and his parents now he like sorry screw you I am a woman. Why not be truthful from the start?
Really excited to say I do not have to apply to be on the show after all--during my late teens/early twenties I had recklessly dug myself into over $11,000 of credit card debt (all of them were 30% interest). I finally broke down last October, took a second job in December, moved back home in January, and as of today I made my last payment and am completely debt-free! I'm now working toward opening a 401k with my current job and saving for an emergency fund like a crazy person for the rest of the year (lots of sandwiches in my future). Thank you Caleb for creating this show and for all the hard work you and your team do!
Or expose a kid to him. Understand you can't legally do it, but I would be tempted myself to spare my kids from the sheer lack of care for them- the entitlement is extreme here.
Serious question: setting aside the argument about whether or not transgenderism is “real” - why in the world do we vehemently defend the person who married, created a child with, and pledged their life to a woman, but then have zero sympathy for that woman when she has a negative reaction to learning that the future she had planned for and the man she thought she married was not at all what that man promised he would be? I just think maybe cut the ex wife a bit of a break here, I’d love to hear her side of the story And for those who missed it - the ex took the child and went to stay with family, presumably because she felt like it would be a more stable situation for the child. She didn’t just run across the country randomly. It may still be wrong, but it is understandable
Believe me, if Willow was awarded paid legal fees, the wife was absolutely bonkers in court and the judge was not amused. This is a huuuuuuuuuge legal red flag. If you’re the lawyer being awarded this, you are bare chested and rubbing your own nipples in glee.
It's pretty wild right? It reminds me of that Netflix show where the two long-term husbands come out as gay and leave their wives, and the kids are like, "we're supposed to be supportive of this just because y'all gay?" I'm fine with pursuing personal truth, but if I suddenly came out to my wife that I'm trans, that would 100% destroy the ecosystem of our marriage and everything we built our life around.
@@Nostradamoose my point exactly. I have a wife and kids. If she came home one day and told me she’s a man now, I would have a breakdown too. I would probably do things that I’m not proud of. I’m not saying she’s perfect, she may actually be crazy. But again, we only have half the story to go off of. And the person giving us that half clearly has issues accepting responsibility Also, the judge awarded 1/3 of the legal fees, not all of them.
I came here to comment this. He broke his marriage vows to her. But has the audacity to get up there with the full chest to say ‘she deceived me’ I think not. I would love to hear the wife’s side of the story.
Hoooly fuck. I'm definitely a loser at 29 renting a crappy studio apartment, no college degree, no partner and little above minimum wage job but hoooly shit. Compared to this mental asylum level of play pretend lunacy i feel like a god
Maybe you have not had as much luck as most people. If you keep the great attitude, take care of yourself mentally, and physically, things will turn around. In 7 years from 26 to 33 I went from "loser" like you describe (more like lonely, self esteem in pieces, too much drugs and alcool, no carreer idea) to amazing wife, house, kids on the wayn, 100% sober for 4 years, happy and well paid at work, feel like I look good and kinda like myself ==> can seriously say happy. You have a solid head start on all the people who think it's society's job to take care of them. I'd recommand Jordan Peterson's '12 rules for life', a very solid essay on how to turn your life around when you are a lonely man. Saved my life, and many others it seems. Oh and if like me you disagree with a lot of his politics and societal takes, I swear the medical/psychological stuff (99% of the book) is solid, scientific and immensly helpfull :). You can make the journey mate, you have what it takes. The most difficult step is to believe and start changing. You can do it :)
So you're under 30, renting your space without roommates, no student debt, self-sufficient and hardworking, laying a career foundation? Don't be so hard on yourself! 😊
What are you even talking about? Hopefully you're not a narcissist like this thing, you're supporting yourself, you're not in weird living situations with shady people, you're not emotionally scarring your offspring, you're not exploiting someone in a relationship, you haven't bulldozed your marriage, you're not doing insane things to your body. How are you a loser? Sorry to break it to you, but not everyone will be rich. That doesn't make them losers.
her partner saying "I let her stay in my apt with her 4yo daughter, which was DEEPLY UNPLEASANT" is such a huge red flag, why would you be with someone who says that about you AND your kid!
Because living with 3 people in a one bedroom apartment after just meeting someone is deeply unpleasant and she was nice enough to allow those accommodations.
Because the guy is batshit crazy he calls his daughter the kid…he left his family destitute, made the unemployed babies mother pay for some of the court costs, he is not a man and damn sure not a woman😂😂
The way they casually stated they were accused of, and I quote, "diddling the kid" and chose those words over any other form of the statement set the tone for the entire show.
Chillingly nonchalant completely disregarding and so indelicate. I think we all heard the record scratch at the same time and blankly stared on for an hour.

This person is a parasite to everyone around them. I literally lost my apartment when I was 19 and slept in my car for 6 months until I found a new place even though I could’ve easily asked my mom to bail me out. It’s called personal responsibility.
I was looking for this comment. This individual calls their ex any number of names, accuses her of kidnapping the kid, and is sneaky pleased that the ex is being penalized for living at home with her parents to save money (while getting handouts to the tune of thousands from their own parent). Then, within two weeks of meeting this new woman, they’ve increased her total CC debt 10%, totalled her vehicle, and is taking cash out of pocket. And then giggling about it. Gross.
Exactly this. Adults who think other people should take care of them are leeches. I see that behavior once, I distance myself. The way they talk about their mother is disturbing.
I lived in my car for 6 months when I was 19 as well. I also couch surfed. I worked whatever jobs I could get. I finally joined the military just before I turned 21 bc I was tired of it all.
I don’t think it’s right to expect your parents or family or partner to catch you. But if you don’t have to live in your car, you should at least take the handout and pay them back later. The problem is the maturity to actually repay the people who give you gifts and help
I work for an MSP and it's the best job I've ever had. Great pay, free training, certifications, education, in a year went from paycheck to paycheck to top 25% national average. Never saw it as "IT sweat shop."
if your life is falling apart in multiple different areas its a really good time to truthfully look at things and realize it may not be because of everyone else
I don't believe it either. As a catholic woman myself I can tell you that I know so many women that have stuck around through abuse and swept it under the rug because there's do divorce without extreme circumstances. If he was abusive in the past and she let it go, there's no way to prove it at all. Same with other issues. She may not have been making up the other things, just wasn't able to prove it at all. And while many women will ignore their own abuse, when it comes to a child, if you believe there's even a possibility of abuse you get the kid out of there. She did the right thing as far as I can see because this dude is just not trust worthy. Don't get me wrong, she may have lied out of being petty, but most people who know they're lying about something that severe don't take it to the courts knowing they'll be found out.
His ex didn't kidnap their child, she went back to her parents house because her husband selfishly blew up their marriage and future when she's a SAHM. There's a big difference.. This person is insufferable.
We’ll when you flee the state and make no legal moves then yes it’s pretty dangerous for the ex to do so. It doesn’t matter what her religion has her believe, you can’t without knowledge take your kid and move to across the country. For you to think that’s stable says a lot about you and I feel bad for your family
I'm sorry they mentioned doing the diddle when having their kid and then also used "diddle the kid" when speaking of the accusations. Really made me feel uneasy.... it's also uneasy that they are depending on inheritance so badly. Their mom is alive!!! Thats messed up. This whole situation is disgusting.

250k is not going to change your life either. Not when you're terrible with money like this guy is. It will evaporate and being totally gone within 18 months and he'll be right back where he started with little to show for it.
I feel like the fact the SO had no idea how much debt she had BUT knows about the “inheritance “ is cringy af. I hope the people form who she’s supposed to inherite will know that and spend THEIR money… cause that’s what it is.
@@colin1818right? 250k isn’t enough to retire on. A fight with cancer or being out of work due to a severe injury could lose you that money fast. And never count an inheritance before you receive it.

You can be mad or annoyed about whats beyond your control. Or you can dust off and do the best you can in the circumstance. Everyone's dealt a different hand in life.
It is so effed up to transition after marrying, and expecting the spouse to be fine with it. Like, I married a chick, not a guy(or vice versa.) Why am I the bad guy? You’re changing the fundamental foundation of our entire relationship and I’m just supposed to go “Ok! Sounds good!”
I’m sure most of them do it so they can have a child before transitioning cause they can’t have a child after. It’s the most messed up thing you can do to a spouse. If people could go to jail for doing things like that, we wouldn’t hear stories like this anymore. It’s disgusting 🤮
yes exactly and they're lack critical thinking too like why they want to stay being someone's partner when they're fully known their partner is not attracted to them anymore. Intimacy is GONE, attraction GONE, everything GONEE
Nah the ex wife was smart for leaving, he can afford to chop his nuts off but can't afford a truck? Bro had more chances to fix his shit and keeps making excuses. He's a terrible influence to his kid, not because of the "transition" but how reckless he is and how everything is either an excuse or a joke.
How did the courts approve 50/50 custody if this person was HOMELESS and living in a stranger's house with their four year old child. That's not safe.... Factor in making $0 in income. No childcare while at work (if they ever get a job). I don't understand the decision.
Lmao… my dad was 100% financially responsible for me and my siblings, mom was a convicted felon, no address. Courts ordered my dad paid her child support 😂 for like a full year before it was rectified. Obviously by the time it was fixed that money had been spent.
While teaching, it was clear to see when a kid's world was crashing down due to instability and divorce. No child going through that comes out the same. But it's not just "being taken from me," it's the hate between the two and the complete change in family dynamics. But yes, a father changing their identity, (which children base their own identity on) is devastating too. Sadly, this child doesn't have a chance. But at least her former-dad is in a new relationship! 🤦🏼♀️
Yeah right.....I had a super bad feeling that he in fact did diddle the kids but it's almost impossible to get charges for it if the kid is only now 4 so the abuse would be around the 1-3ish range. Almost impossible to get charges unless there is tearing or other physical signs. You don't just go from a happy Catholic family to troon in one step. This dude was a porn addict (because 100 out of 100 polled admitted their trannying started from porn addiction) Then after porn addiction, he probably did some things to the girl and felt terrible about it but couldn't stop and thought "If I transition it will stop these urges and I won't have a dick to abuse the kids with" and when he revealed it to his wife she got scared (rightfully so) and ran away with the child as the only way to protect her. But now since our legal system basically fell apart starting around 8-9 years ago this creep has 50/50 custody and rented a single room where he and his daughter would stay. This is by far the worst trooning-out story I have heard. That poor child needs to live with mom full time. I wonder if we could find the judge or somehow help the mother because this story is way too sad.

I’m so confused why do these people come on a show about fixing their finances but then push back on every piece of advice they’re given?
Because what they actually want is Caleb to say "This actually is not that bad. your spending is pretty good, you're just getting screwed by the world"

If I were his ex wife I'd be pulling up this video in future court/custody battles. He is clearly unwell.

The irony is strong in this one.

The saddest part of that is that you don't even need any kind of higher education to be a paralegal in some states, and some attorneys actually prefer that you not even have any prior experience so they can train you. My mom had to switch careers after a bad car wreck in her mid-40s and an old high school friend of hers hired her and trained her, she turned out to be an excellent paralegal.

So, being cynical -- and based on what was said in the episode -- it seems like the desire for 50/50 custody might have had a lot more to do with not wanting to pay child support than it did with wanting parenting time.)
you are right. this person noped out big time.
He did say that's all I wanted, I will always want 100% of time and custody my my children!

Embarrassment is an understatement.

This person does not need custody of a CHILD. They cannot even take care of themselves 🫣
I just think maybe cut the ex wife a bit of a break here, I’d love to hear her side of the story
And for those who missed it - the ex took the child and went to stay with family, presumably because she felt like it would be a more stable situation for the child. She didn’t just run across the country randomly. It may still be wrong, but it is understandable
Believe me, if Willow was awarded paid legal fees, the wife was absolutely bonkers in court and the judge was not amused.

When someone repeatedly says "I don't deserve them, they're too good for me" I'm inclined to believe what's coming out of their own mouth!
Therapy is needed here, not a new relationship w a new partner. This individual needs to face their own internal battles before jumping into anything else. This is a mess.
This individual needs to realize he’s a guy
@@cooperaiken8148I find it interesting that all the men pretending to be women on Caleb’s show are some of the most toxic, abusive, and entitled people on the show. The way this person takes advantage of the new partner really makes you question the validity of claims made against the ex-wife.
The new partners not much either
I don’t believe a word of it.
Yup. Taking advantage of the mother and lawyer too. Pretty obvious pattern.

@@cloverazar5315 that summary is wild hahaha totally true tho
It definitely sounded micromanaged, but nothing crazy.

@thefilmbistro2350 Virtue signal received.

Expecting people to use preferred words is pretty entitled.
His ex didn't kidnap their child, she went back to her parents house because her husband selfishly blew up their marriage and future when she's a SAHM. There's a big difference..
This person is insufferable.
Thank you... these kind of people think the world revolves around them.
Trans people are so annoying
Yep. My thoughts exactly
It’s not hard to be respectful even when people are making silly financial decisions. They mentioned they were trans.
What?? When ewww
So glad i don’t have the brain worms that make people not understand certain words will flag an entire video as age restricted and unmonetizable… almost like they didn’t say the word “sex” about two consenting adults either! And not to mention allll those censor beeps that plague every video.
Worst kind of people out there lol, I worked with a crazy coworker who was like 40+, whole personality was “I’m a rich guy” but that was depending on his aunt (who’s still alive) dying and him getting the inheritance. Everyone loves this guy cus of his huge “I’m rich” personality as well.

PS what kind of sicko talks about an inheritance they EXPECT to get on a damn podcast?!?! Ugh……
Mommy has successfully enabled this person to fail in the real world. I feel bad for the ex-wife and child.
Yup this man left his family destitute because of his delusion and selfishness

@@CamGarcia her husband left her high and dry with a kid, I wouldn’t believe a word this man says and yes he is a man

I don't understand the decision.
the judge didn't want to be transphobic obviously
Because the courts are biased in favor of women, right?
Lmao… my dad was 100% financially responsible for me and my siblings, mom was a convicted felon, no address. Courts ordered my dad paid her child support 😂 for like a full year before it was rectified.
Obviously by the time it was fixed that money had been spent.
“The kid has so many emotional issues from being taken from me”
Yeah…. That’s why your child has issues…
YES! This killed me.
“My ex-wife kidnapped our kid and took him across the country”
