I just discovered your channel and have already binged at least 6 video's. Your video's are already so helpful, keep up the great content!
Yesterday I bought myself a juicer and felt guilt free. After getting out of debt, I rewarded myself by investing in my health. I’m glad I took the steps I needed and more importantly, stayed focused and committed of being debt free. The hardest part was getting started and getting rid of excuses. Once the good habits developed, I didn’t need to worry, or think if I should spend money on things that would bring back value.

Somebody once said, You can never save enough for retirement but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try anyway. Take your health seriously now to reduce the financial burden of failing/ill health and ACTIVELY plan your retirement so you can still make money even then. Goodluck to us all.
That's very true. Besides IRA and 401k, are there other ways we can prepare ahead of time for our retirement? Mine draws nearer by the day and I'm gradually going into panic mode
You can absolutely invest more than enough for retirement. It takes time, discipline, and a decent savings rate. Even 10-15% can make you a qualified account multi-millionaire.
Saving and investing it is actually the easiest way 🤦🏼♀️ if you are low income you just have to start saving in your twenties so that compound interest has 30 or 40 years to make that money grow.
I was thinking about this very topic the other day. I realized that I have spent about 20 of my 30+ working years chronically underemployed. I finally pulled my head out of my a$$ and, in 3 years, increased my salary by $31k annually (about $10k per year, year over year). If I work this right, by this time next year, I will have increased my salary by another $20k. I will never sell myself short ever EVER again.
Net worth truly snowballs after $100k! Keep investing regularly and you'll be blown away how much it can change in a few short years. Here's to $1 million and to FIRE!
I have to admit, I struggle with financial confidence. I read books, watch videos, and try to learn. But my first gut reaction is fear and negativity. I always think, "I could never do that!" or "I'll probably screw it up." It's an effort for me to step out of my comfort zone and go for financial freedom.
My family used to live paycheck to paycheck and was deep in debt. Our credit was good, but paying the bills was the main source of stress at home. Now, at 35, I find myself in the exact same situation, and it’s starting to take a toll on my health. I also got laid off recently, and the current job market isn’t great. I’m trying to pull myself out of this pit I never thought I’d be in. I know this is a wakeup call for me, and I have to take on the challenge. I’m trying to be compassionate with myself and stop the guilt tripping. This video has given me a very much needed perspective. Thank you!
I love the premise of this video and the chit-chat style!! I recently became financially free at 33 and for me that meant debt-free. Now the goalpost has moved to: live in a paid house (I rent currently). 👍🤍
Diversifying your investments and consistently putting your money to work are two lessons I've learnt from these millionaires. When I invest about $250k of my money in stocks this year, I hope to make a return.
You're right. I believe that diversifying investments is the best course of action since it can reduce the impact of a market crisis by spreading money over a variety of asset types, including foreign stocks, bonds, and real estate.
I don't have the time to carefully evaluate my investments and research particular stocks because of my hectic work schedule. I have therefore hired a financiiaI advisr to actively manage my portfolio for the last seven years in order to adjust to the state of the market. I've been able to successfully traverse the financial environment by using this method to make well-informed judgements about when to buy and sell. Maybe you ought to think about taking a similar strategy.
How can I participate in this? Since I sincerely want to build a secure financial future, I am thrilled to participate. Who motivates you to achieve what you have?
One thing that I want to do now that I am well on my way to financial freedom is share it with my daughter. Teach her about money, good habits, and also put money aside for her so hopefully she has a better start than I had. If you truly want generational wealth, you have to set them up for success by teaching them early.
I don't understand how someone can have you as a friend and STILL not having made any progress towards financial freedom. Goes to show even with the best external conditions, it's all about our own thoughts keeping us trapped. The box, as you said.
Yes, spending on items that give your life value and joy is essential. When I first retired, I was fearful of spending because I no longer had as much income. That being said, I overcame that fear and began to logically budget for travel, art classes, art materials, a nice lunch out. I also know I have enough money security to have balanced pleasures. So wonderful! My life is enriched and paid for by years of hard work (not the highest paid jobs) and frugality.
So nice to hear an honest point of view, not trying to make yourself sound like the smartest in the world, not over complicating everything. All your words had value! Thank you xx
I think some people actually don't know how to find time. To which if they want freedom they have to make the time. It's still a Catch 22. But to whoever says "I don't have time" I FEEL THAT. And if you hate your life it can be extremely hard to focus and summon the energy.
You are making an impt point. I think a lot of people come up with all those excuses because they are embarrassed about their lack of knowledge and their poor decisions. It hurts to learn how much one has lost due to poor decisions. It happened to me for a while and I wished I had done it sooner, but I did it and now enjoy financial freedom.
For me, it was getting over a defeatist mindset around money. I had a lot of resentment towards my family’s financial struggles growing up and it took a lot of undoing to appreciate that I make a decent salary for where I live. Part of that came with 90K in student loan debt, but I’ve resigned to ever being able to pay that off, so I’m making the bare minimum payments. I’m aggressively paying down consumer debt and saving 18% of my take home pay. Once I let go of the past, I was able to appreciate the present.
I think people generally underestimate how much time children need if you are a parent and looking for the ultimate financial freedom. Sometimes it’s just not possible to have a demanding job, family and kids wanting your attention. Having said that there is slots in a day you can definitely invest in self educating via good audiobooks, good quality UA-cam channels. To me financial freedom is a life style goal, but not an ultimate goal in life. Family, friends, children and Health are equally important.
100% agree that if a person does not make something a priority no matter what anyone else says will not get there. Stay focused and you will get their. Best of luck. Rememebr cars, ...are just depreciating products and people often buy them to show off due to low self-esteem. They do not impress me (the car nor those people). My expreience is you do not need a conventional job but you do need ways to make $$$. There are so many ways today like real estate, Amazon, Shopify, UA-cam, self-employed ( I have seen propety maintainers make $100,000+ per annum).
I really needed this. I am right now in a financially very bad position - 10 years ago I was way better with that, but some circumstances made my financial situation very frustrating. But on the other hand it was good so I NEED to look at it right now and think about what to do with that. Your tipps already help getting me in a new mind position - first of all don't feel guilty for buying everyday-needs anymore, second thinking about NEW ways of having more income and third really believing in my GOAL (which is getting out of rent and having my own house and being financially save and having money to live happy at the same time).
I picked up a book for the first time in over a decade. Even when there is no ROI financially there is always the increased knowledge and expanded mindset that you’ll have forever 🧠
I love your mug. It's reminding me I need to get tea from the grocery next time I go. 😅 Thank you for this video, and the others you do. 💜 They're super helpful. I've been in the "sorting my brain" stage of my path to financial freedom. Tomorrow I start implementing some of the stuff I've sorted.
You are UNIQUE, Rose. I watch so many channels when more or less the same stuff is mentioned, but when YOU speak about something, it is always different, always very specific and direct. And I actually see and feel your passion and deep belief in what you are saying. I've been stuck for a while with my finances, didn't really know what to do next, but now I feel ready to make an action, I am taking the next step. Doing nothing is so much worse then failing. Thank you, Rose, you are great!
You're only as good as the decisions you make today with the money you have. This time last year I considered investing much knowledge and decided to have a consultation with a fiduciary, and it was incredibly insightful. One year and a couple of months in, and I'm debt free. I truly cannot stress enough how helpful experts in this field are!
It’s not rocket science. I invested in some stocks myself using pure speculation. Long story short, I blew my account and lost it all. Jonas Herman, a licensed fiduciary is the brain behind my success. I've gotten into a plethora of assets with $12k spread across stocks (options and futures) for the short term and Roth IRA, index funds, and ETFs, for the long term. Now with over 74k in roi, I sit back and just reinvest at intervals while I handle my other businesses.
I actually saved money by getting a library card and NOT spending $20-$30 on books 😅. You can also get free access to audiobooks through your local library as well as free finance and tech classes. Investing in yourself doesn’t have to mean spending money. Investing can be TIME and deciding how much of your attention you’ll put into something!
Thank you for your guidance on financial issues and freedom. I have been reading a lot of books on investing, but my family is telling me I am wasting my time. Thank you again for showing me that I am on the right path to investing in myself, dreams, and my future. I enjoy your videos and keep up the good work.
My cash cow can be my pension at the age of 49 yo. The reason it will be a cash cow is because I've saved, invested and am 100% debt free. The pension amount will basically cover all of my monthly expenses and they'll still be some $$ leftover to save or invest. Great video and yes, financial freedom can be achieved if you know what your number is. Thanks
I love what was said about investing in learning, reading, making financial freedom a priority even when you're tired, kids etc. And I love the simplification of steps and the focus on gratitude for the things you cannot change at the moment. READY for that next video!
I like how you manage to say about the balance things on spending and not be guilty on it, balancing the value of money as well, this is an insightful video for me as I’m also focusing on financial freedom and your way of explains and sharing things about it here about the boxes and the mindset of Liza is something that gives me the reminder of giving more focus to what the goal is. Keep on sharing and definitely following the financial freedom series
Thanks for sharing your financial wisdom with us, Rose. I appreciate your balanced point of view, and the importance of gratitude. I remember I saw a video once on FB about being grateful to even wash your dishes because you at least have dishes to wash. When I 1st heard that, I wasn’t having it. 😅 And then, I started to analyze and I was like…she’s right! Instead of sulking about it, it’s best to look at it from that perspective and it’s not as painful to do the dishes as it used to be. I also liked the mental box analogy and how you can set temporary goals and expand/upgrade them as you go along. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by such a large goal, and not know where to start. Keep up the good work! Love your content.

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Charlotte Grace Miller.

I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Charlotte Miller, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
Thank you for making this. I really agree that a lot of our limiting beliefs hold us back. I once read, just as we have a comfort zone of happiness, we also give ourselves an upper threshold of happiness. Meaning we usually self sabotage when things get too good in our lives. So I really like this video because it is staying in a box of our own making.
The crossover point…when you discussed that, I realized it was most definitely not in my box. And then that opened up all the triggering reasons why. But, I’m aware now and laying those old stories to rest.
This honest but personable approach really resonates with me. I'm in debt, but am ready to turn it around and build financial freedom for myself. Looking forward to your future videos.
I just love your channel. Since I did start watching it. My life started to change for the best. I never thought about financial freedom like this. I did read a lot on the subject. But people don't talk about it like that.
Big believer of that. So health conscious to the extent health on its own is an umbrella that to some extent it needs you to be comfortable with your money. Money is a necessary tool.
@@Wahldotheshuffler , I think they mean if you have health, financial building is possible as your able to work more physically and do it, if a person has health issues that is going to restrict their working hours, or cut them completely from working then you'll never get there. Having your health is you most important wealth building tool. I had eye issues for awhile and was legally blind, couldn't work and jumping through hoops to get government help was so hard, as couldn't work, had to wait on surgeries...was scary times, and won't allow myself to be poor ever again!
I’m that type of friend that’s like no, overstep-give me the harsh truth 😂 we gotta grow and elevate!! Thanks for posting this Rose. You are my inspiration!
I really loved this take on things. It feels very healthy and realistic. One thing that came up for me was the idea that if we’re not prioritizing something, then we just don’t want it enough. To some extent I agree, but also sometimes it’s the belief system that is blocking, and on from that, energetic consequences of trauma and deeply ingrained conditioning. All of which can be healed. Sometimes you can want something so much, but something in your energy field is blocking and the root of that has to be identified and reprogrammed. No amount of wanting will rewire a limiting belief system. Awesome video, I loved it. Thank you :)
At 17:37 I checked my monthly lifestyle. Right now I am at about a $2,500 per month lifestyle. That has been very conservative and sacrificing a lot. It used to be much less, but that was a very cheap way of living for me that I wasn't satisfied with. My lifestyle expenses will go up because I am already squeezing every penny and it would be nice to be more financially comfortable.
Yes! Keep preaching, Rockstar. You have great points. Keep it up and I'll keep listening. I've been stuck in a poor girl mindset and I'm trying to brainwash myself into believing I have value (or I can create value) to offer that world. Thanks for helping out.
I’m really enjoying your videos. Straight forward, and simplifying a topic that can feel so difficult to tackle for so many reasons. I like that you address the mindset and emotional aspects. I’m starting to believe I might be able to learn this skill after years of shame and fear around money. Thanks!

I love that idea that you're making something else more important to you--your excuses. I hadn't thought of it that way, but there's a lot of truth to it. A lot of times we build our identities around being victims of circumstance and we don't want to give that up!

I will read as many books as I can on audible not mentioning hundreds of youtube videos that I have watched so far and will watch in the future.
This is a great video! You mentioned that some info you share may be triggering but I think it was fairly neutral, just some plain helpful truths. Thank you
Hi Rose 🌹 first of all - I appreciate you! You are fantastic at explaining “money” to people intimidated by the subject. It is vital for everyday people to know how to manage their money, and a lot of us simply don’t know how and accept that as the way it is. It’s kind of weird that I know more about Botox and Housewives than I know about investing or finance! Time to RE-prioritize. Thank you ❤
at minute 13, you started talking about priorities and you said something about maybe being comfortable is more of a priority. This made me sit upright and take notice. I KNOW this is my main issue. I got messages from the time I was very young that doing hard things was too much work and too hard.
I'm ready to stop doing it...whatever it is. YES, I WANT TO BE THE FIRST MILLIONAIRE IN MY FAMILY. OR AT LEAST TO SHOW/MAKE MY KIDS THE FIRST MILLIONAIRES IN OUR FAMILY.

@@EdwinBoettcher Start buying metals dude.
Whoever said that obviously doesn't know what they're talking about.many have successfully saved, and invested.
The fact that nobody talks about the book whispers of manifestation on borlest speaks volumes about how people are stuck in a trance
comparing myself, worrying about others and learning to distance myself from excuse makers is something am working on.
Wow … that’s really inspiring
What would you tell someone who’s just starting this journey ?
Simply look up *Elizabeth Colleen Nurre* . The information you need to work with a correspondence to schedule an appointment would be included.
Thank you for the lead. I searched her site up and filled the form. I hope she gets back to me soon.

The best 30 minutes one can spend to transform one's life to make it wholesome! Kudos Rose!
I think some people actually don't know how to find time. To which if they want freedom they have to make the time. It's still a Catch 22. But to whoever says "I don't have time" I FEEL THAT. And if you hate your life it can be extremely hard to focus and summon the energy.
I am twenty two years old and i'm tired of being just comfortable!! Absolutely, love this vid you just gained afollower.
I am really digging the clarity of “let’s not over-complicate this.” ; )
100% agree that if a person does not make something a priority no matter what anyone else says will not get there.
I started by making videos and got out of my comfort zone! It takes time yes, but I know withing 2 years I can do something great!
Thank you for this video, and the others you do.
To me, investing is not worth it and I know that's the same mindset holding me back from taking a step forward in my finances. It’s all gambling.
Can he help me? I'm turning 40 real soon and I hope it’s not too late for me.
@@Lilybee931 Can he help me? I'm turning 40 real soon and I hope it’s not too late for me.
Let me guess. You found a con job? No second bowl of rice for you today.
This is the feedback everyone needs to hear from someone who cares about seeing you succeed.
Rose thank you for your kind and encouraging words, most of all thank you for believing in other people ❤
I like how you manage to say about the balance things on spending and not be guilty on it, balancing the value of money as well, this is an insightful video for me as I’m also focusing on financial freedom and your way of explains and sharing things about it here about the boxes and the mindset of Liza is something that gives me the reminder of giving more focus to what the goal is.
Your friend really isn't READY to CHANGE her life!!!!!
She has SUCH an ADVANTAGE having YOU to HELP her!!!!
I'm LEARNING about THIS NOW, as an OLDER woman!!!!
I'm SO GRATEFUL to have YOU and other HONEST people who are.KNOWLEDGEABLE, to HELP me!!!!!
MANY THANKS for your UNDERSTANDABLE content!!!!!❤!!!!
her 'friend' doesnt exist. she made it up to appear compassionate towards the viewer to sell you her $1000+ 'seminars'
notice she didnt say anything tangible & useful here. BS.
She is my family's personal broker and also a personal broker in many families I'm United States, she's a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in United states
I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Charlotte Miller, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
The very first time we tried, we invested $1400 and after a week, we received $5230. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
she's mostly on TikToks, using the user name
Thank you for making this. I really agree that a lot of our limiting beliefs hold us back. I once read, just as we have a comfort zone of happiness, we also give ourselves an upper threshold of happiness. Meaning we usually self sabotage when things get too good in our lives. So I really like this video because it is staying in a box of our own making.
Thank you so much for your candor and vulnerability! This is incredibly relatable & empowering 🙌🏽
The crossover point…when you discussed that, I realized it was most definitely not in my box. And then that opened up all the triggering reasons why. But, I’m aware now and laying those old stories to rest.
Omg. You’re so awesome. I’m finally on my path. Taken years!!! I’m determined. ❤ Thank you for your encouragement!!! Really means the world to me 🙏
Thank you so much for this 🙏 Very much needed to hear it!
so beautiful, so smart! 👍🏼
Thanks for this, Rose
I like your way of talking about the mental box. It helps to see the limitations I have and how I can expand it. Thank you!
"comparison is the thief of joy". Very good stuff Rose. Thank you.
This honest but personable approach really resonates with me. I'm in debt, but am ready to turn it around and build financial freedom for myself. Looking forward to your future videos.
I appreciate the consideration of our priorities. I have to prioritize changing my situation.
Thanks for just talking so honestly. Such balance in a sea of noisy imbalance.
I just love your channel. Since I did start watching it. My life started to change for the best. I never thought about financial freedom like this. I did read a lot on the subject. But people don't talk about it like that.
If I had a friend like you trying to help me then I’d listen to
The most important wealth in life is your health! I understand this is a finance channel, but without your health, you’re nothing!
Big believer of that. So health conscious to the extent health on its own is an umbrella that to some extent it needs you to be comfortable with your money. Money is a necessary tool.
It goes to show one has to understand the true meaning of the middle way cz in essence that is healthy.
Yup, health is wealth!
So all unhealthy people are nothing?
@@Wahldotheshuffler , I think they mean if you have health, financial building is possible as your able to work more physically and do it, if a person has health issues that is going to restrict their working hours, or cut them completely from working then you'll never get there. Having your health is you most important wealth building tool. I had eye issues for awhile and was legally blind, couldn't work and jumping through hoops to get government help was so hard, as couldn't work, had to wait on surgeries...was scary times, and won't allow myself to be poor ever again!
Hi, I'm so glad I found you. Feels like catching a coffee with a friend that's there to help and not sugar coat things for you but keeping it simple ❤

Perfectly put all in one video, such an easy to follow and down to earth approach!
PSI seminars are great. I’ve only done the basic but I really learned so much
I really loved this take on things.
Dang Rose!!!! Whew...I needed this. Thank you. I'll do better. 😓
Learning a Lot from you! I am preparing to focus as I've never done it this 2025, Thank you ❤
I have always needed a big sis to tell me how it is. I thank you so much for making this absolutely clear. ❤
Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video! You friend Lisa is lucky to have such a friend as you and I feel grateful that you decided to share with us your thoughts and your advices. Thank you!

Yep. Definitely needed to hear this. 😩 I need to stop making excuses while just sitting on the couch watching The Office reruns 🥴

I love that idea that you're making something else more important to you--your excuses. I hadn't thought of it that way, but there's a lot of truth to it. A lot of times we build our identities around being victims of circumstance and we don't want to give that up!
Thank you for this video. I love your communication style. I found this so easy to understand. Im reading through your guide now.

I have read the 3-4 books that you mentioned on audible too. when i read/listen a book on audible, I don’t want any words to escape me, however, sometimes I don’t understand some words.

Thanks, Rose! Your direct approach and easy-to-understand explanations are so helpful!
Great video Rose! Really accessible information for the average guy or girl, love it. ❤

Helpful. Need to read books. Small mental box. Thank you!
at minute 13, you started talking about priorities and you said something about maybe being comfortable is more of a priority. This made me sit upright and take notice. I KNOW this is my main issue. I got messages from the time I was very young that doing hard things was too much work and too hard.
