I worked hard, saved, frugal, cooked at home, lived a modest life in my 20s. Now 35, own 2 homes, paid off vehicles and tracking to retire with 5M. In 4 years, I will retire from the military with about 8k a month pension. How bad do you want it is the real question. People want to be rich but don't make changes/moves needed to achieve that goal.

One of the main things people get wrong about the destruction of the middle class in the US is only looking at the income scale. The real destruction of the middle class has come from the bad financial decisions made by the middle class, mainly the brand new car at $1400 a month or buying the $800k house when you would be fine with something less than half as expensive.
Building a solid financial foundation is both working on saving and investing AND living within your means and not trying to have the lifestyle of the rich and famous.

What I love about your content compared to a lot of the finance bros:
Finance bros seem to focus their content on sales pitches, ie how to convince other people to GIVE them their money - whereas your content seems to focus on how to actually MAKE money using your available resources, or how to realistically expand your resources to make money independent of sales tactics.
    It's so refreshing.

I am living proof that financial independe is attainable to anyone who makes it a priority - as Rose said. I heard about financial independence about 4 years ago, soon after that I started watching Rose’s videos. I’ve read 8 books she recommended (some you can even find at libraries). I’ve changed jobs and negotiated a greater pay. I took her ITM course, I’ve been trading options and even had a one-one with Rose (absolutely life changing). I went to retreats and I am going to a Tony Robbins seminar in October. I have a therapist, a trainer and a nutritionist. I also was able to double my investments in 4 years and I am well on the way to soon not having to trade time for money anymore. The beginning of the journey is slow and tedious, but soon the power of compound interest kicks in and you can see massive growth with way less effort. I continue to invest massively on myself because it allows me to maintain a mindset focused on development and abundance, versus stagnation and lack. Thanks for everything Rose! You rock 😃

3 rentals, 2 were paid before covid in Northern Texas under $40k 2beds 1 bath, and the third was paid with the $1000 stimulus covid for $40k 2br 1 bath, right now those 3 rentals bring $850 in rent, I just use $250 for each and the rest goes to pay the management fee, and to the high yield savings account (UFB Direct Bank) for repairs, insurance, property taxes. Yieldmax for dividends, 1000 shares in CONY stock and 800 shares of FIAT: CONY pays on at least $1 per share so everyone I get little bit more than $1000, and FIAT so far is paying around $1.40 - $1.80 a share every month, so it's on average about $1200 so about $2200 on the low end in dividends. I recommend paying monthly estimate taxes, I just add the total and pay 25% every month, the money covers the bills and the rest goes to the high yields account.

Yesterday I bought myself a juicer and felt guilt free. After getting out of debt, I rewarded myself by investing in my health. I’m glad I took the steps I needed and more importantly, stayed focused and committed of being debt free. The hardest part was getting started and getting rid of excuses. Once the good habits developed, I didn’t need to worry, or think if I should spend money on things that would bring back value.

I finally pulled my head out of my a$$ and, in 3 years, increased my salary by $31k annually (about $10k per year, year over year). For me, it was getting over a defeatist mindset around money. I had a lot of resentment towards my family’s financial struggles growing up and it took a lot of undoing to appreciate that I make a decent salary for where I live. Part of that came with 90K in student loan debt, but I’ve resigned to ever being able to pay that off, so I’m making the bare minimum payments. I’m aggressively paying down consumer debt and saving 18% of my take home pay. Once I let go of the past, I was able to appreciate the present.

Sometimes it’s just not possible to have a demanding job, family and kids wanting your attention. Having said that there is slots in a day you can definitely invest in self educating via good audiobooks, good quality UA-cam channels. To me financial freedom is a life style goal, but not an ultimate goal in life. Family, friends, children and Health are equally important.

Thanks for sharing your financial wisdom with us, Rose. I appreciate your balanced point of view, and the importance of gratitude. I remember I saw a video once on FB about being grateful to even wash your dishes because you at least have dishes to wash. When I 1st heard that, I wasn’t having it. 😅 And then, I started to analyze and I was like…she’s right! Instead of sulking about it, it’s best to look at it from that perspective and it’s not as painful to do the dishes as it used to be. I also liked the mental box analogy and how you can set temporary goals and expand/upgrade them as you go along. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by such a large goal, and not know where to start. Keep up the good work! Love your content.

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Charlotte Grace Miller.

Thank you for making this. I really agree that a lot of our limiting beliefs hold us back. I once read, just as we have a comfort zone of happiness, we also give ourselves an upper threshold of happiness. Meaning we usually self sabotage when things get too good in our lives. So I really like this video because it is staying in a box of our own making.

Having your health is you most important wealth building tool. I had eye issues for awhile and was legally blind, couldn't work and jumping through hoops to get government help was so hard, as couldn't work, had to wait on surgeries...was scary times, and won't allow myself to be poor ever again!

I really loved this take on things. It feels very healthy and realistic. One thing that came up for me was the idea that if we’re not prioritizing something, then we just don’t want it enough. To some extent I agree, but also sometimes it’s the belief system that is blocking, and on from that, energetic consequences of trauma and deeply ingrained conditioning. All of which can be healed. Sometimes you can want something so much, but something in your energy field is blocking and the root of that has to be identified and reprogrammed. No amount of wanting will rewire a limiting belief system.
Awesome video, I loved it. Thank you :)

At 17:37 I checked my monthly lifestyle. Right now I am at about a $2,500 per month lifestyle. That has been very conservative and sacrificing a lot. It used to be much less, but that was a very cheap way of living for me that I wasn't satisfied with. My lifestyle expenses will go up because I am already squeezing every penny and it would be nice to be more financially comfortable.

Hi Rose 🌹 first of all - I appreciate you! You are fantastic at explaining “money” to people intimidated by the subject. It is vital for everyday people to know how to manage their money, and a lot of us simply don’t know how and accept that as the way it is. It’s kind of weird that I know more about Botox and Housewives than I know about investing or finance!
