So what happened to the daughter when he passed away?
Did she go back to her biological mom
Or stay with his girlfriend ?
That’s new info I haven’t heard before I always assumed or my interpretation was that his girlfriend had got pregnant by him and that was wear them child had come from .
So how old is the kiddo when he starts committing crimes and how old was she when he was caught/captured.?

By chance do you know what I might have messed up with. Cause Patreon has been taking the money for you and Made by Lai. Now I worry for both of you are they giving you the money. I sorry for bothering you with this. I am totally new to Patreon and honestly don't know how it works. Lol I grew up on a farm with no TV, stereo and no computer when they came out. So I am NOT tech savvy lol. Give me home made bread, canning, raising turkeys and chickens I can do lol but computer tech flys right over my head. Because I still live without all the electrical stuff. Just my cell phone and I didn't get one of them until 7 years ago lol. I must have been born in the barn LMBO to most people.

I find him one of the most intriguing serial killers ever. By the way if the police would have played the game they would have had many more bodies, I wonder if the agents that delt with him had the psychology to do so.Maybe you can fill me in on that.

I met this person at a bar called The Finish Line in Parker County, Texas, maybe around 2011. This is a local, everyone is welcome type of bar, so he was noticed. He seemed at the time socially awkward and a little weird. He was very drunk, but maintained and wasn't belligerent or disruptive, just drinking heavy. But we were in a dive bar, so this was not out of place. I knew I didn't want to be friends with him, but I was shocked to learn of what he had done and what he was doing in Texas. The other patrons that met him that early evening had the same experience with Keyes. We found out about what he had done when agents started coming through, asking questions and it was all over the news. He is still a part of this community, now even some ten years later- every unsolved murder case from that time period is blamed on him. Thanks for doing your great, in-depth report- I always enjoy listening!

Very interesting Emma. What you said about IK having a much higher pain threshold and most psychopaths being the same with reference to this, you reminded me of a comment I heard from a colleague over 20 years ago. I was working as an RN in a Drug & Alcohol Dexox and one night I was having a conversation with a man who used to work with sex offenders and he would counsel them. He told me that one client, a paedophile, when asked "how do the children feel" his reply was "SOFT"! It's that complete disconnect between the victim and any feeling they might have and the psychopaths own response based on a "touch" NOT an "emotion"! Thus the child was soft not torn and broken because the psychopath has NO legitimate emotional activity. I enjoyed your analysis of his poetry and the analogy of the "flower petal" as a metaphor for a "vagina". Psychopaths brains are fascinating things but I'm just delighted that IK is in Hell and he'll be there forever! Looking forward to next week! Till then...

I've been a spree watching and info gathering on this Keyes guy and sorry for the long message and random things about Keyes... I just found your channel and i the amount of detail you go into is a great change and i am happy you don't fluff things up, i personally believe it is not disrespectful to do, specially when in cases like this there are more victims, FBI has asked the public for help and internet sleuthing can help, and people should hear about the victims.. and the graphic nature which they go so people don't just think that they went with a stab of impunity. From the interview with Keyes, what he does to poor Samantha is.. just wow. I mean he used mental torture tactics, the tiny shed was pitch black, him wearing a headlamp so you can't really see what he's doing. and the fact he untied her, let her smoke and give her hope to just switch again, attack her and tie her up again, cut off her clothing and stuff it in trash bags and then just look at her absolute state of fear, shaking, sadistically tell her what he's going to do, only to leave her again for like an hour, come back and yeah.. not going into detail. I have looked at a lot of cases, the only other perpetrator that got me as shocked was Adam Lanza, it is a very different type of case but yeah, ...
He is the worst type of killer since he wants to prolong the suffering not just by pain, but mental torment, the power trip is what gets this guy off he needs the power, he controlled the police, he controlled the information and the interrogations.
It's not until NOW they released new stuff, some interviews are not released but some are sitting on them because you can get them through a FOIA and I think its unfair, if you got it release it to the public. Being in the TCC we usually share drives, and credit the person who got it if they want. Do not let Keyes have his control over this anymore.
Also don't forget Keyes absolutely knew why he killed, the interviewers used his body language to know if he was telling the truth and when he talked about details about Samantha, the Courriers, he would start lowering his voice as you can hear if you listen to that interview, which is actually on UA-cam (topnotchdocumentaries, they have a lot of hard to find stuff easily accessible) Keyes would move his hands more, move his leg or something but you can hear his chair creaking rythmically, because hes getting f-ing excited, hes gettig off, just like other killers, but he is just trying to hide how excited he is by it.
I always found it interesting how he came from this background with no TV, no music no way to know anything about the outside world because it was forbidden(maybe he got some knowledge as a teen when they robbed houses)
and the extreme indoctrination of hate for society and the white supremacy.. He still somehow integrated into society, and he held no racist beliefs he just completely threw away those negative beliefs. (this might seem like small details in comparison as to what Keyes has done and is seen as by many, the stupid organized killer who used a debit card of a victim and got caught.. he used several cards, Koenings for a whole year. The fbi put his status as terrorist just to up the likelyhood of catching him)
also in a call with a vermont police, keyes was scoping out the courrier house for HOURS he was even inside the garage for several hours waiting and trying to break into a door there but it was deadbolted, he was aware of a neighbor going out smoking and one taking out his dog, so he waited and eventually just broke the window and crawled in. he had already been at the farm house and checked it out and the area, he also used bondage rope tying techniques to secure ms courrier to the matress, rope and binding really was a thing for him...
He also was tasked with taking care of his siblings when he was really young, he braided his sisters hairs just like his last victim.. he hunted game for them to eat, like you mentioned he just carelessly gutting the deer, Keyes was an expert shot and survivalist already, which would help in the military. Keyes also once said he would spot people when hunting (he was a young teen), and turned the gun on them and started tracking, stalking them just like he would with game. god only knows if he killed anyone as far back as then. I honestly believe he killed way more than the confirmed, and suspected.

@Curiosity Killed the Cats At the time I was 17 and had just started being allowed by my mother to go to cosmetology school, I was pretty sheltered growing up and I hadn't been allowed to really go anywhere on my own prior to starting cosmetology school. I had lived most of my life about 40 miles away and had literally just started school in February when she went missing 4 miles from my cosmetology school. I was mildly concerned when she had gone missing because I had to walk to a bus stop to take me the 40 miles home daily. I didn't get to attend the vigil because my mother wouldn't have allowed me to.
When I came into school one day I was sitting in the break area and there were a bunch of the girls there reading an article. They showed it to the instructor and he ended up sending the guy who was being considered a suspect at the time home so we would feel safe. The guy was understandably upset because he obviously knew he hadn't done anything.
I'm pretty sure that guy ended up having to leave state because while Samantha was missing they were threatening to do the same to his very young daughter because they were so sure it was him.

Great insight into a vile man, but I got caught up on the connection he had to the mentioned indigenous people. Although my family immigrated to England, we are Saulteaux Anishinaabe from Treaty 3 Canada, and much of my family remains there. Murder, largely of indigenous teenage girls and our 2spirited people by the hands of white males is a huge issue, with it being called the MMIW genocide. Everyone knows a relative or friend who has just ‘vanished’ or been found dead suddenly, but police rarely pay attention. Social vulnerability, mystification and fetishisation play a huge part in this, and oil pipelines bring in ‘man camps’ to our isolated regions, which largely consisting of white male workers which fuel these murders further, although from what I have read, many serial killers have also actively targeted indigenous women due to knowing the media/police/public will not pay notice. There is also the Starlight Tours, which saw Canadian police killing several indigenous men by driving them to remote locations and dumping them, drunk, in the winter snow- but I’m not sure anyone has ever been charged for this. Somehow, knowing what goes on each day in this regard, it stuck out to me that a serial killer had a indigenous wife and child. I wonder if there was something other going on there. Anyways, thought you may find this interesting.

Wow, I class myself as a bit of a true crime obsessive but this case has gone completely under my radar! This guy is terrifying, so organised and controlled. Seems he could genuinely still be active even in this day and age of cctv and forensics if he hadn’t broken from his code. The fact he sent the relatives of Samantha a picture of her without them knowing she had already passed is horrifying. The fact he was able to hold down relationships is fascinating too. Imagine finding out your dad or husband was this depraved!

  • @loisdiamond5674
    @loisdiamond5674 2 роки тому +4

Thanks for covering Israel Keys and wow he really is a whole league of his own in terms of his crimes!
I went and watched the interrogation interviews and this man was running rings around them, it’s actually really uncomfortable to watch the FBI and law enforcement struggle so badly! I think military training would of given him sone knowledge about police process and he clearly used that to his advantage.
The interrogation team were trying to use all manor of strategies to gain information from him and he knew it. I’ve never seen an interrogation where the suspect has as much control as him. He was gaining information from them if anything with them answering questions about blood stains and decomposition times for him as he sipped his Starbucks!
I think that the drawings of 11 skulls would of been alluding to his crimes it has to be. He was too organised and meticulous for it to be random , plus he would of spent a lot of years wanting to create the ‘ending’ to his murders.
So many serial killers like to consider themselves on a level with Bundy and not many of them are but Israel Keyes most definitely is.
    Xx
