There was a documentary I saw where the young boy from the third family was interviewed (from prison) and it was heartbreaking because this now a man blames himself because he was the one who opened the door that day when Rader knocked. The guy blames himself for the deaths of his mother and you know that guilt contributed to his life of crime.
A single day and a boy who did nothing wrong and his entire life was forever altered.

I can feel guilty eating one too many chocolates, done and dusted.… but there are certain levels of guilt that can not be fixed. Life can change on the flip of a coin or an innocent opening of a door … but those levels of guilt remain a life time, altering paths that were not intended. I feel for that boy those years ago that innocently opened a door to evil ….and in adulthood carry the burden of much guilt …….. forever a victim. God bless him.🙏

@@EmmaKennyTV Hey my lovely little fellow northern monkey 🙋🏼‍♀️
I really hope you read this - I was literally gobsmacked when I read about this as it is so closely linked to this case....
I don't know if you know this (see what I did there 🫢) but there was a serial killer back in the 50's called Harvey Glatman (The Lonely Hearts Killer/Glamour Girl Slayer). He would pose as a professional photographer offering female victims the promise of modelling exposure in the popular crime magazine of the time, Front Cover Detective magazine. He would advertise his services, take aspiring models to his home and tell them that their photoshoot for the crime magazine would involve them being tied up, looking terrified and posing as if they were about to be murdered. His victims complied, believing it was all for the magazine cover and Glatman did indeed take the photographs as promised with them in these compromising poses: while they were bound, he would tell them that he was going to rape and murder them, photographing their very genuine terror. Glatman was a depraved sexual deviant and sadomasochist from a very young age, playing out his fantasies as an adult by repeatedly raping his, ironically, willingly bound victims before killing them.
After Glatman's arrest, Front Cover Detective magazine themselves heard about the case and that he had been using them as a part of his deadly ruse and in an attempted indignant response, the magazine published the photos Glatman had taken of his victims on their front cover, as their feature story.
Shortly after this publication, a 13 year old boy from Kansas came across his father's copy of this magazine featuring Glatman's photos and used the images for masturbation, later claiming that it was one of the most intensely orgasmic experiences he has ever had.... That 13 year old boy grew up to be BTK!!! 😳
And there it is - BTK's origin story! 😳 Sorry about the long comment but I know that you and others will be as open mouthed as I was! Also, sorry about posting this a year after you posted this vid but I too have watched all of your videos now and am currently working my way through them again and thought you'd find this interesting 😅😊❤️

I knew what he did but not in detail as you explained it, you are amazing because of how you take every case and explore it thoroughly and then you present it with your whole heart! That is what makes you amazing and I am so thankful that I can now watch you twice a week! You can take a person that everyone has heard of and explain the whole story with details that I never knew and you do it with such passion that I can’t even pause the video! Thank you for all your hard work, you are amazing! ☺️

Emma, thank you for your humanity. I didn’t know very much about this psychopath until l listened to this. I believe being forewarned is power. Knowledge is power. That’s why l listen to these programmes, because I want to know what makes people tick. Sometimes it’s like looking into Hell. It affects me deeply. But it makes me more determined to be watchful so l can live my best life, taking care of those l love. Thank you, for your presentation and your compassion. Bless you❤️ Hi and much love from Australia🇦🇺❤️

Again really good analysis Emma, always interesting to hear your thoughts on these crimes I find the psychology aspect you bring helpful in understanding what drives these individuals and in this case what drove one of the worst in Btk

I've seen quite a few shows on BTK, I've got to say that your take on him was so much more interesting and informative. You are really good at what you do and I really enjoy watching your videos. Your way of looking at these horrible crimes and the way you explain these cases really gets us thinking, I'm already waiting for your next video. Keep it up. Love the way you get into these nasty people's heads.

I saw so many different documentaries and different people covering Dennis Rader and his murders so I wasn‘t sure if I‘d enjoy this episode as much as your other videos (just because I know this story so well) but I really enjoyed listening to you! You added some interesting point of views and I think you just became my favorite person/channel to watch when it comes to true crime stories! xx

@@EmmaKennyTV I've been watching ur work since "this morning"? Think it was called. I'm a huge child advocate myself so I've followed ur work( whatever is available in US) ,I was so mad that I just recently found ur UA-cam channel cuz I was only notified a few days ago! But I'm crazy about it. True crime is everywhere now but the way U explain it and give ur opinions and unbiased( mostly lol) take on them are fascinating! Anyway,I was just trying to help with Wichita..I was laughing cuz our countries are so different and it took me 3 days to figure out what a dang wheelie bin was!!🤣🤣🤣🤗Keep up the hard work. Your channel is exploding. You'll have a million by 2022 guaranteed. Good luck and stay healthy!! Love from North Carolina ❤️🧡💛💚🤎💜🤍
