Jayda you have got to be the BEST Mommy, Auntie, Friend! Everything you do is just so Beautiful! Thank you for sharing these Stunning ideas and patterns with us always xx
I love the corner2corner crochet stitch. I make baby blankets and baby sleep sacks. If I have enough yarn I will make booties and a hat. Hugs to you and Mr in stitches
Jayda you are the best teacher!!! The way you teach has helped me so much. I am so confident and at ease. The simplest word and the smallest details really helps. I love when you say "Don't worry if it looks funny etc".
HI Debra! The older we get, the more we think we're supposed to be perfect the first time round at everything - silliness! Everything we do is practice :) Plus we're suppose to be having fun here, right?! * giggle * Thank you for watching!
Love it!😻💕💕💕. When my daughter was a baby, I made her scratch mittens to protect her face. I weaved in a cute ribbon with a bow. They're easy to slip on and off the baby's hand. I wish I had pics to show you. My daughter is now 18. So all those baby items you showed had me in tears. So adorable thanks for the ideas! Muwah 😘
I absolutely love your projects. I have made several of them. My favorite is the sunburst blanket. The parents I have given this blanket to are in awe. They love the blanket and me for giving it to them! 😁I finally get to make some of these projects for my first grand daughter!! I am so excited and will definitely add the heart pillow. ❤️
I love all of your projects for baby.. I love to make bibs and burp cloths that go over the shoulder. Bottle covers and course slippers. The burp cloths have been a great success at baby showers.
Wow so very special gifts for baby. Your crochet looks perfect. Thank you so much for all your teaching and show n share. You are upbeat and funny too. I really appreciate you so much. Big hugs and blessings to you!!
My first grandchild is due in August. To say I'm excited is an understatement! We are waiting until birth to find out the gender, so I'm crocheting in neutrals just as I did for my own. 😁😁😁
You are so enthusiastic, crafty, and I love your attitude you display as you work! Please continue to make videos. I'm learning and gaining lots of knowledge of crochet techniques. One day soon I hope to show you what I've done. Thank you.
I absolutely love your videos. I'm working on a baby blanket for a work friend of my husband, he and his wife are expecting a baby girl in October. I decided to try the chevron pattern with Caron cakes- mixed berry. This is the first baby gift I've done since I started crocheting. It makes me so happy to make things for people I care about.
Jayda My Favorite gift giving idea is making a baby blanket and put it in a basket and load up the basket with Baby items I did all the time for Baby showers! Back then I was doing the big Granny Square back then Lol . Now since watching You I have learn quite a bit! Thank you so much 🙋🏽😍😍😍
I go to Jayda in Stitches for motivation and ideas! I made a baby blanket and a stuffed owl that was really appreciated. Thank you for your videos and your positive encouragement. Eileen from Nebraska
One of the families we know at church are having a third boy this November. I’ve done the little baby cardigan last year with the V-Stich and the parents loved it! Want to make a little kit with one of the basket for the baby. Excited indeed!
Jayda, I've made the sunburst pattern blanket for my baby...on her 30th birthday ha ha. it came out so lovely in alternating turquoise black purple black every 4 rows as you suggest. She loves it and has it on her bed all year long. Thanks again Jayda sweetie for another fun easy to follow tutorial. You are my fave!!
I've made several of the V stitch blankets. I'm working on another one fight now with 2 more blankets to make after. I may need to try a baby cardigan! 3 friends are having babies. 🙂
I used to make baby blankies for all my nieces and nephews. If they were born in cool months, an afghan; if born in the warmer months, a seersucker or flannel receiving blanket with a crocheted edge. I sometimes made coordinating burp rags with a crocheted edge (these are also one of my favorite baby gifts to receive). My other favorite gifts to receive are diapers and cash, and this is what I give now. Not as much fun, for sure. I do love visiting my sisters and seeing their older kids with blankies I made for them. 💕
I just made my daughter in law 3 baby blankets! I got carried away. One is a smaller 28x28 simple single crochet blanket with a heart border in ecru. One is a gray waffle stitch that looks nice if it's laying around on the couch 40x40 and one is a crib blanket in Caron Baby cakes self striping yarn in summer stripes petals- this is my favorite. While experimenting it came really nice bc I alternated 4" of puff stitch with 7" of a modified puff stitch that ended up looked like criss crosses and they work well together. i'm searching for a pretty but easy baby girl sweater pattern to make with Caron cotton cakes - something more lacey and bell shaped. I will be searching your videos first bc I like the way you teach and you make it so much fun!!
The round ripple I bet I've made at least 10 of them and your c2c rectangle and the border to the c2c rectangle. Thank you soo much whoops and the wave stitch afghan . I love that one and I have made multiples of that one also .I do not sell anything but give them to people I love and donate them to hospital. Thank you again .
I've made 3 of the 12 tipped blankets now, 2 with variegated yarn and one with big bold stripes. also made 2 smaller versions and added a bunny head to make comforters. just in love with the pattern, thanks Jayda, your tutorials are so easy to follow 😊
Yes! Just what I was looking for as my cousin and his girlfriend are having their second baby in two weeks! Thank you Jayda for showing me what I can make to give to my cousins baby!
I love all of your stuff you make it all so easy your are clear and very good at teacher. I also love your passion for what you do and how great you explain what to do nexted love all.
Love your crochet baby shower ideas. The drawstring bag is great. So useful! The most recent shower gift I made for a newborn boy is a little "photo op" set. It is a diaper cover, a bow tie, booties and two sweet little hats.
I love to crochet hats blankets and booties. I am currently trying my luck with bibs. I found a really cute pattern for a fox ☺ BTW I love your videos and you are part of the reason I got into crocheting baby items 😉
I loved watching this video where you showed your creations and talked about them. you have an amazing way of speaking its so delightful and motivating. :-) it'll be great if you could do more videos like this
I always make blankets and now with your quick and easy bootie pattern I can add them. I'm doing the C2C blanket now., just about finished. I love your videos.
I have crocheted a baby bundting, blankets, booties, and pull over sweater. I made a granny square baby blanket and am saving it for when I am a granny. So it's a granny from a granny. LOL.
its like you knew i was about to search around for gift ideas for a baby shower :D ive got to start getting ready for my newest nephew who is on the way :D thanks
I find myself making a blanket and matching hat. A sweater that the baby can grow into. Lastly, I like to add a animal lovey. Then I usually add a children’s book instead of a card.
Thank you, I'm going to make some of the projedts, I can wait to see how they come out. Yours are beautiful and I want to thank you for sharing with us. God bless you
Your pokeball granny square blanket is actually what inspired my current project! The only difference is instead of doing a granny square I am doing it as a C2C graphghan and I am loving how it is turning out so far! So thank you for the inspiration!
That's really amazing. wish I could do most off those. not a fast crocheter. what takes most people 2 days to do, takes five months. I usually do blankets, it's simple
Austin Ann hey I really like your idea of using multiple yarns for your baby blanket. can you tell me what type of yarn you use. all the same thickness or varied? what size hook do you use?? thanks. Sandra
For a recent baby shower, I used my weaving loom for the blanket as that was MUCH faster (for me) than crocheting. I decided for the minimalist approach with the blanket - baby blue for the background and a charcoal grey heart in the bottom corner. I used the same colour yarn for some baby sneakers and mittens that I crocheted. :) If I were to try again, I would probably crochet a hat and sweater as trying to maintain the same size bootie was difficult for me. And still weave a blanket.
Just found out my sister is pregnant. It's sort of a family secret for now but I hope it's ok to say here. I will probably make ALL of these things for the little one.
my cousin had her baby shower at sunday and i make her a blanket corner to corner 2 pairs of baby booties 2 hat-beanies and a amigurumi rabbit she loved them!!!!! thanks for the aadorable tutorial corner to corner blanket
I once made a farmers' market styled drawstring tote to use as a gift bag. I also figured busy Mom could use it (not just a Baby gift) and when the baby grew older she could use it to carry her own things. That obviously takes longer than your simple-sew bag! (:
That was a lovely video!I loved all the stuff esp that rainbow blanket. The bag was too good.I also fell for that cute elephant behind you.You are an amazing crochet👏👏👏👏👏
Hi Meena, thank you! (Isn't that the cutest little Elephant? It's actually a tea pot, with little baby elephants creamer and sugar bowl...my sister in law found those for me and I just love them!)
I am new to your channel and I am so happy I found you.. I was thinking of making some of the egg rattles for a baby's first Easter basket . I will be heading over to your tutorial videos ASAP.
Jayda, love this video! Thank you for all the links! I have made several of your patterns and it was hard to give away the blankets because they all look so beautiful! xo~
Hi Sandi! I had a LOT of trouble wrapping up the rainbow blanket LOL, I really wanted to keep that one for myself...but it turns out she's having a little girl and she's all about princesses and unicorns, so I think it's gone to a pretty great home :)
I got so many beautiful crochet blankets from people I knew and people I barely even knew and friends of friends when I had my babies so now I try to do something other than a blanket or baby hats my go to is usually a stuffed toy of some sort I am making a large stuffed rocket right now for my friend's baby
You are so talented never stop doing crochet. Because that is a gift that not everyone has!

Hi Andrea, what a awesome idea! That's going to look so cool :)
Jayda InStitches magic ring
How to make a magic ringAaZ
That's really amazing.
wish I could do most off those. not a fast crocheter.
what takes most people 2 days to do, takes five months.
I usually do blankets, it's simple
Hi Kisa, blankets are such awesome gifts!
I like to crochet a blanket but use three or four different yarns at the same time. It works up super fast and it's nice and warm!
Hi Ann, that is an awesome way to make short work of a blanket and those are especially awesome in the cooler climates!
That sounds like an awesome set of gifts :) Is it a big loom that you used? Looming is a blast! I love them :)
Jayda InStitches an ashford rigid heddle loom :) it rests on the table / in your lap. wide enough for table runners, shawls, or baby blankets.
Amazing! This was so great and helpful. Thank you!
Thank you for watching 😊
I love your channel
