Great video. I always enjoy your content. You show a lot of appreciation for game development, showing a lot of little things. It really gives the experience of playing the game, without having to play the older games.
The most memorable video game fridge to me is in Luigi's Mansion. In the kitchen you have to open the fridge to fight a ghost that's inside of it, but when you open it, the door swings open with so much force that it does damage to you. There's no way to open it gently. The only way to avoid damage is to know the door is going to hurt you ahead of time, and use the Poltergust to open the fridge from a safe distance.
This is top quality content. Your channel is the best find of this year so far! I can finally enjoy games which are super interesting, but also just a little bit too old and clunky to actually play them myself. Thank You!
Was genuinely surprised to see another amazing and hilarious video so soon. Also big congrats on the sponsorship that’s got to be a great feeling… keep it up and I truly believe this channel needs to be more popular lol
2000s femme fatales were something else. The unserious voice acting + IDGAF attitude from these types of characters were a joy to watch, and Rita was no different with how she just knocks Lilia out with a whole table. 😭
Thanks for the lengthy video. I don't know what's been going on as of late, but you should go see just how many lengthy Galerians analysis videos have been made as of late. As I've left in a few vids like this, there's a subreddit for the game that a lot of us fans congregate at. An indie made remake has constant updates for it there and we've also archived a lot of the previous fan gathering sites for the franchise there as well.
I did this game as it got requested a lot in the comments of other videos and in the Discord server. I dunno maybe its just Galerians revival time haha
@50:44 Rita manages to tell Lilia "Don't believe it" when Rion says he was experimented on. Is that the directors way of injecting a 'Don't believe everything someone says'? Am I missing something, or was it in Lilia's head and not real? It definitely got me thinking and I thought it was a cool little moment that kept me on my toes. Awesome video!!! Thanks for making it ¥^^ (Peace)
Speaking of Horror Fridges, the scene in the movie American Psycho where Patrick Bateman grabs a beverage for his guest and there's just a decapitated head casually chilling in there.
Never heard of this game before but what a fun time this was! It wasn't just me thinking the voice acting for pretty much everyone was surprisingly decent on some lines but absolutely diabolical on others? Well except for Rita. She was pretty consistently bad 😂
I’ve been trying to find this for over a decade bc I remember it was on MTV when I was younger. So imagine my surprise when this video popped up for me !
You asked what game I'm thinking of, and I said fallout. You were wrong lol. But I love you anyways. I'll be watching your channel with much hope. Cause you're amazing and your voice is stellar. Keep up the good work, you earned a devoted viewer.
I have this one, the ps2 game, and the movie. Loved the art direction , story and music unfortunately I'm not good at Survival Horror games so I never finished em. Hope you do Ash.
It's one of the most interesting games I've seen for the PS1. Galerians really does take a lot of inspiration from Scanners. From popping heads to burning them to a crisp, and having an evil twin brother. Definitely has that Scanner influence written all over it. Can't wait for your take on the sequel. I also love your cover art of Galerians. It's wonderfully displayed to the goofy Garfield plush.

I hadn’t thought of Women in Refrigerators, there really is something up with fridges. I was kind of joking about a video on fridges but… I’m kinda tempted now hahaha.
I do love Darkseed!
Cane with boot with toe physics... incredible
me thinking youtube was just catering to my literally looking up galerians ost tracks the other night but no! a fresh early bird video! hell yeah! i have both galerians games and the mtv special dvd in my apparently obscure media collection. if anyone passing by ever saw knickknacks meme clips for galerians and knows where to find saved copies, i will love you. i miss them.
Galerians ost is definitely a good one ✨
Another great video! Thanks to both you and the Blockatiels for your hard work! o7
Yay more earlybird, i love that the screen flashes galerian as if to remind you what game you're playing everytime you load. Also, yay punchy !
I have definitely played this and definitely haven't finished it because i softlocked myself because of the games very, very, punishing inventory management. I got to one of the bosses and no matter how much I tried to beat the clock set by the AP meter i couldn't get past it.
Yeah the softlocking in this game due to inventory is rough haha. Cool concept but definitely a bit too punishing.
I found your content recently and really love your style and tone of videos! I hope we get more video essays like these. 🙂 Thank you for taking the time to make good content! *edit for spelling
Great video. I always enjoy your content. You show a lot of appreciation for game development, showing a lot of little things. It really gives the experience of playing the game, without having to play the older games.
I loved this video. I keep discovering Japanese PS1 and 2 games and to hear/see so many unique ones such as this is so cool!!
Dr. Lem's VA sounds familiar...
Is that... Thunder God Raiden?
It is Raiden! Richard Epcar has a ton of really good roles :D
@@early-tv fantastic
The most memorable video game fridge to me is in Luigi's Mansion. In the kitchen you have to open the fridge to fight a ghost that's inside of it, but when you open it, the door swings open with so much force that it does damage to you. There's no way to open it gently. The only way to avoid damage is to know the door is going to hurt you ahead of time, and use the Poltergust to open the fridge from a safe distance.
Ooo that’s a good one!
I love that you included music from Shadow Hearts 2 Covenant at the end! i love that game
Covenant is one of my favorite games 😁
This is top quality content. Your channel is the best find of this year so far! I can finally enjoy games which are super interesting, but also just a little bit too old and clunky to actually play them myself. Thank You!
Thanks for dropping this vid. Hope you do Galerians: Ash, that games gameplay makes the first look like Red Dead.
Was genuinely surprised to see another amazing and hilarious video so soon. Also big congrats on the sponsorship that’s got to be a great feeling… keep it up and I truly believe this channel needs to be more popular lol
Terrible lie at 5:40 was perfect I couldn’t tell if it was actually just the ost or not lmao
I had to check for myself. It’s actually in the game 😂
Thank you, Earlbird! Love your videos and keep on doing your fantastic work!
2000s femme fatales were something else. The unserious voice acting + IDGAF attitude from these types of characters were a joy to watch, and Rita was no different with how she just knocks Lilia out with a whole table. 😭
Rita is iconic 💅
Thanks for the lengthy video. I don't know what's been going on as of late, but you should go see just how many lengthy Galerians analysis videos have been made as of late. As I've left in a few vids like this, there's a subreddit for the game that a lot of us fans congregate at. An indie made remake has constant updates for it there and we've also archived a lot of the previous fan gathering sites for the franchise there as well.
I did this game as it got requested a lot in the comments of other videos and in the Discord server. I dunno maybe its just Galerians revival time haha
11:26 i love this aestetic :D
If you combine things right Kirby turns into an attack fridge in Kirby 64...terrifying stuff I assure you...
awesome content! love your work! cant wait to see more of anything you do!
Ey! Congrats on the sponsor.
Oh boy, new Earlybird Video!! I am going to need some wine and cheese :D
Oh dear, "Blockatiels"? I love it!
5:40 they literally looped the intro to Terrible Lie by Nine Inch Nails for their music lol
Your videos are life giving.
The way you speak about them 👌🏽
Speaking of Horror Fridges, the scene in the movie American Psycho where Patrick Bateman grabs a beverage for his guest and there's just a decapitated head casually chilling in there.
That’s a good one, so many horror fridges 🤣
Never heard of this game before but what a fun time this was!
It wasn't just me thinking the voice acting for pretty much everyone was surprisingly decent on some lines but absolutely diabolical on others? Well except for Rita. She was pretty consistently bad 😂
Most iconic fridge of my childhood. The level in Sarge's Heroes where you're fighting through a fridge and freezer.
I’ve been trying to find this for over a decade bc I remember it was on MTV when I was younger. So imagine my surprise when this video popped up for me !
Awesome, always had a soft spot for this series.
i prefer your long form videos. this was pretty funny too
You asked what game I'm thinking of, and I said fallout. You were wrong lol. But I love you anyways. I'll be watching your channel with much hope. Cause you're amazing and your voice is stellar. Keep up the good work, you earned a devoted viewer.
Hark! The queen has again released an absolute banger. Tis a good day indeed.
you gotta check out Clock Tower fridge...
(it's not really that scary but I just want you to play Clock Tower)
I have this one, the ps2 game, and the movie. Loved the art direction , story and music unfortunately I'm not good at Survival Horror games so I never finished em. Hope you do Ash.
Hell yeah my favorite creator is back!
Bro was just standing and watching while a table was thrown at Lillia. He was surprised, maybe, but it's funny.
Really love your videos ❤
Thank you, I appreciate it!!
I love you earlybird its 23h30 here but im watching this
It's one of the most interesting games I've seen for the PS1.
Rita aside, the voice cast is unironically stacked. Its good to see.
