I don't agree with this guide what so ever. The best gold to be made by far in the game before 1415ilevel is via the masterpeice collectable line, and that means adventure tome and Makoto seeds. You can make more gold going carefully from zone to zone picking up items than you can weeks of doing t1 chaos dungeons, and the value of gold will go down over time as more people get to gold sinks. Again just to stress you get 28.000 gold from 38 masterpeice collectable item track, the things you need for this item track mostly come with basic zone completion. So TLDR do the adventure track even if it means you take a week to reach level 50 because compared to someone who has a main and an alt at 50 and is hard stuck in T2 like everyone will be the first week you will be so far ahead its unreal. You can go back and do it later on after you reach 50 but unless you are an agi build its no faster than doing it right from the start. You are forced by the game to spend hours going into every zone in the game and riding around it, far better to only have to ride around every zone once than go back at 50 and do it all over again. Backtracking is a massive waste of time. Unlike most other mmorpgs your mounts move speed is the same at lvl 10 as it is at lvl 50.

Do all side quest, read story, levelup life skills, collectible, adventure tome - while leveling and don't worry about hitting the max level. The worst thing you can do is imitate the experienced players and burn out, no matter how fast you are, you can do it all before end season. Getting to level 50 quick is not a bad advice when it comes to doing daily stuff and so on BUT theres some stuff I disagree with (mainly because you are wasting the crystalin aura if you are a founder): 4:01 If you are a founder make sure you max out your daily interactions with the NPCs... Otherwise you are wasting one of crystaline auras bonuses (1 more daily interaction). 5:01 Pick every node you come across simply because you will level up your lifeskills (yes those level up and you want them leveled up sooner than later - stuff you craft with materials you get through them can be great source of income for you). I must agree this rush to 50 to sit there and wait for t2 to release is not the best plan. I get that it matters in KR and RU, I play there, but in NA it will be gated. You have to go back and do dungeons for a 2nd time for adventure tome anyways, so even if you ignore the mokoko seeds on the first run while leveling your main, it wouldn't really be a waste. The infinite chaos dungeons also have a chance to proc gold gate/boss gate. The boss gate drops enhance success materials (I got 10 of it everytime on CBT) which is useful if you plan on pushing your gear beyond +15. So there is a gain here.
Mokoko seeds in lvling dungeons you can skip as well. You will be running them later on on hard anyway to complete adventure book, so you can collect mokokos then ;)
@@PZBK3rd you should probably skip them either way. They dont offer anything meaningful in terms of progression and are mostly a vanity system, which is fine, and it's kinda fun, but not a priority for anyone.
I get the feeling, going for lifeskills right at the beginning might get you alot of money, because people who want to rush through it fast will buy it from you ^^
I'm willing to bet you are right but you also aren't leveling and will slow down your leveling until you're stuck in the herd. There will be a lot of people going for those resources.
@@Zer0cul0 not sure if the comment was referring by going for resources "at the beginning" so as soon as you get your first gathering tools in that case I wouldn't be worth it, but after reaching 50 and doing your daily and weekly tasks then it's 100% going for lifeskilling since day 1 if you choose to do so.
I know that gathering is probably a wasted time/time sink and I could be doing something else at that moment ...but I doubt the dwarf in me will let me miss any resource node I find XD
Honestly, my biggest concern is server stability and queue times. I am still in the process of narrowing down to what "main" character I am going to play. I am really struggling to decide between Beserker, Shadow Hunter, and Scrapper... Shadow Hunter and Scrapper appeal to me the most, but I am finding myself concerned with finding groups for content without waiting long times. Hopefully, a clan/Guild will help with that lol. EDIT: Went ahead and joined your Discord server and put myself on the waiting list. Hope this works out!
The most important thing to remember is to enter your credit card info quickly because if you can't buy your way to elite status your toon is relegated second tier player status....
Can you talk about the party group system, is there allegiance or factions, is there group exp, is there dungeons that limit people, how large is server? Can a max level party with a level 1? Is it shared xp? Can you boost new accounts (playing a high level with buffs) to make noobs stronger?
no, no, no(you level up by xp from quests and main story give the most xp and fastest level up), yes: 4 players, 8, 16(most dungeons are 4), we don't know, yes a max level can party with a level 1 but since you level up with xp you gain from quests the only thing you help is to kill the mobs faster, yes but only in group cause buffs are group buffs and they have short duration: 4-8 seconds.
Anyone know the specific time it releases if you ordered the founder's packages? I believe it's Feb 8, but is there a specific time? Is it just like 12 AM PST on Feb 8?
I know I'm late on this video, but can you re-customize your character's features down the line? Like a barber shop from wow, or a value pack from BDO?
Well I would argue that for the rewards it gives it is indeed a hassle. Especially since there are a few seeds here and there that are not just as straightforward. Some mokoko seeds are hidden behind barriers that can only be removed with a specific song(you also need another song to get that one, that can only be bought for pirate coins on a ship in the middle of the ocean lol), which you obtain on a specific island, some are behind fences that take 15 minutes to break with 5 players, and some in dungeons require you to for example clear EVERY mob in that dungeon to get it. I have to admit that I personally quite like collecting them, but the rewards are nothing to write home about and some seeds as I said are annoying to get, regardless of you knowing their location.
@@LegacyGamingUS so when I played martial artist i started in a totally different place than when I started as the two-handed weapon class. Whatever that is called, it's different, but that was on the non-US version. If they took that out... that's some BS...

Hello, thanks for the great content. quick question do you have guides about lifeskill and stronghold? like how to set it up from scratch, pre-requisites, best recipes and pointer to collect the associated materials?
Can you go back at anytime to change how your character looks? Basically go back to the character creation screen whenever you want and change their appearance.
I believe there is an item you can buy that lets you customize your character again if you want. I think it costs a couple bucks ($5-$10). Don't quote me on this though as I'm not super invested in character customization
@@LegacyGamingUS yeah, barely played anything this weekend. I could only log on during the morning. Otherwise it was a massive queue or wans't allowed on the servers at all.
You will be running them later on on hard anyway to complete adventure book, so you can collect mokokos then ;)
I spent too much time looking for seeds on beta but it was kinda fun
if I wanna hardcore the game I should probably skip lol
@@PZBK3rd you should probably skip them either way. They dont offer anything meaningful in terms of progression and are mostly a vanity system, which is fine, and it's kinda fun, but not a priority for anyone.
Loving the videos so far. Would you consider making a video on how to optimize stronghold leveling/research?
This is the video I been looking for. Thanks man -sub
Thanks for the sub!
Great Video!
Prediction: 100k peak at launch
Reality: 500k founder launch
1,300,000 f2p launch
I told Codiak he was nuts for shooting so low.
@@LegacyGamingUS should've told Amazon instead, 50k queues now 🤣
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
I admire how you manage your time, keep it up. Maybe a video on how you manage that? thanks for your channel its amazing!
LEGACY 3 & LEGACY AMBER REPRESENT!!
Represent!
Amber here!
Thanks for the vid. Very informative and hopefully I can make some better choices myself at launch :)
my first 2 weeks is gonna be making up my mind on a main :P
I think that’s a lot of us lol
you can download the Russian version and do this.
I've never heard anything as unfun and stressing as "every second you're lifeskilling is a second you're not leveling"
Most useful video is this one right here.
So hyped
I know that gathering is probably a wasted time/time sink and I could be doing something else at that moment
...but I doubt the dwarf in me will let me miss any resource node I find XD
Collectibles ARE Endgame
Launch day > try to get past the queue. Video done.
0:50 lol he was so wrong
I can't wait
Efficiency, efficiency... sounds like a job.
these are nice videos..makes things alot easier of what too expect
Anyone know the specific time it releases if you ordered the founder's packages? I believe it's Feb 8, but is there a specific time? Is it just like 12 AM PST on Feb 8?
Lemme know if/when you find out
What the chapter is : "distractions". What I hear : "do absolutely everything on the list while leveling"
Ya essentially his only point is "but leveling and endgame though! Do it later!" Just god forbid you want to do what you find fun.
sailing and island hearts might be neat too check out later on.
I know I'm late on this video, but can you re-customize your character's features down the line? Like a barber shop from wow, or a value pack from BDO?
You ain’t real unless you got balls of Steel. Steel represent.
Represent!
God, you're really making an amazing content
Thank you
You bet
Great video.. Thanks a lot for the strategies.
I’m personally just gonna chill and enjoy the game.
I would argue that the mokoko seats aren't really a hassle there are tons of maps that will show you exactly where they are as you're leveling
That's true, but not everyone is going to want to take that shortcut
Great stuff... gonna follow for more, sadly can't join your guild, gonna play in Latam. But gonna add the discord channel, see you there! ;)
The prologue is different for each class. So even though you can figure the story out. It’s still neat to see how they all start.
There is a cinematic for each class, but the main in-game prologue is all the same
@@LegacyGamingUS so when I played martial artist i started in a totally different place than when I started as the two-handed weapon class. Whatever that is called, it's different, but that was on the non-US version. If they took that out... that's some BS...
@@BossTripp1 they removed the individual prologue for each class.
@@SapiaNt0mata WHAAAAAAT? Are you serious?
@@BossTripp1 yes.
Love You
haha taking day off...my man i quit my job lol...tomorrow is my last day, best timing ever
You can build up Virtue stats? That sounds like something people on Twitter would kill for.
Okay...So what should we be harvesting to upgrade the workshop??
I'mma be real. I saw that Codiakkk and did a double take. The 3 Ks.
Hahah, yeah was just messing around with terrible names for the time being
i really hope launch day wont be the usual mmo disaster with very few servers and login auth problems...lag ect......
Well all mmo's have problems every single lunch, infact most onlin games in general. But atleast this game has been released in 3 other regions before. Should have given em abit insight to what's needed. (atleast it aint Blizzard, still have problems (day 1 lag) each season lunch in D3 after a decade haha) Also Lost Ark beta ran actualy very well i thought. So if that's an indication, we should be fine :)
Lapis in the house!
For the name issue why don't they just do what Blizzard has always done? lock that name for other players for a set amount of time when it's deleted but not for the previous owner. Hopefully they correct this.
Why are you asking us ? we dont have the power to change it. And they wont read it here for sure. Go post on forums instead so they can see it. (even tho they already know from others if you bothered reading the post where she tells you stuff) :P
Let's hope it's available to play in my country tbh
New World had 140k concurrent players in beta and ended up peaking at 900k . I wouldn't be surprised if we don't end up with 400-500k concurrent players over the first weekend.
I know I didn't get into the beta bc I was playing new world at the time. I'm sure there are a lot of people that didn't. The numbers are gonna be higher than most anticipate I think, especially with it being F2P.
I ALWAYS try and do every little thing in RPG's then I never get anywhere and quit. So maybe I'll rush since you go back over it anyway.
Can't wait for Feb 11. Though I hope it won't be too laggy here in SEA region.
Theres no sea servers brotha
Only way to play is via VPN if you planning on playing from SEA
Ouch
I know, so that means I'll be playing on the NA/EU servers
Hello, thanks for the great content. quick question do you have guides about lifeskill and stronghold? like how to set it up from scratch, pre-requisites, best recipes and pointer to collect the associated materials?
Can you go back at anytime to change how your character looks? Basically go back to the character creation screen whenever you want and change their appearance.
I believe there is an item you can buy that lets you customize your character again if you want. I think it costs a couple bucks ($5-$10). Don't quote me on this though as I'm not super invested in character customization
@@LegacyGamingUS Me either, just want to run through it so I can get the names I really want!
@@utdjustin There definitely is an item that you can use to change your appearance. It should come to NA.
@@CakeBanditJr thank you for the info!
@@utdjustin np 😊
Hehehe "100k on launch day".. was up at like 1.3mil or something.
Insane launch haha
@@LegacyGamingUS yeah, barely played anything this weekend. I could only log on during the morning. Otherwise it was a massive queue or wans't allowed on the servers at all. Now that I've got work during the weekdays, I'll probably have to wait a few days (hopefully not weeks) for it to settle down a bit.
First goal of launch day is make it into the server
One thing to keep in mind . You don’t need to rush to 50 . Enjoy and learn the game . Explore and enjoy it
Will you have guilds for EU as well?
Thank you for the amazing content - if i plan to stick to the main quests and pop up important quests - - its orange and red in the quest tab eh?
lol just took 2/8-2/11 less than an hour ago. Lez do dis!!!
I am going to spend all launch day, making my character...It usually takes me several hours at least to get past the character creator
Launch day.... survive que savage
I am just going to take my time like I did with New world and wow and FF14 no need to rush.
Joke's on you, I would need most of that time to download the game.
got um
P sure they said they excpect 200k. Big hyped
Are you going to do Rohendal quest line before or after you make an alt?
What are some good materials for your stronghold that we should focus on early?
stone and wood
Stone and Wood are easily the most important. Then herbalism to start getting into potion crafting.
Imma chill my way to 50. I want to really experience it. With my 2nd and 3rd it will be different of course.
Honestly, I think it is a matter of preference. Personally, I like to take time and explore games, and if the lore is interesting, actually checking what the npc`s have to say. I noticed that when i just click through dialogue, the game i play loses a lot of its charm and quests/tasks become rather dull.
Steam needs to get that Steam deck up and going, so I can play while traveling. Is there a time frame to do 1 dungeon? How long to complete a run?
Really depends on the dungeon, the leveling stuff can be as short as 10 minutes, or as long as maybe 30-40
The goal should be to have fun, speed running thru to end the games is not recommended. All those guide of ppl speeding to max level obviously played this game before so it make sense for them not to waste replaying content they been thru, but for new player, they should just do it at their own pace and enjoy
not everyone like to do side quests, etc. the side quests are the generic kill x mobs, etc so why should i waste my time? how about you do you and let others do their thing instead of saying speed run is not recommended? you don't represent ALL those that play the game.
@@SapiaNt0mata Did I not say, its not recommended for new players, but it make sense for those who already played thru it already? The point of playing the game is have fun, not to speed run thru it, so you don't play the game. You obviously know what the side quests involve
@@outforbeer and how do you know that new players want to do everything and you say it's not recommended? you don't. your fun is not everyone else's fun. you don't speak for ALL playerbase.
once you make a few side quests you know that it's the generic kill x mobs, etc quests. you don't have to make all side quests to realize this.
players that speed run to max level don't do just chaos dungeons, etc. they also do some map completion cause there are skill points, etc. players speed run to 50 cause once you're 50 it's easier to do the other things like getting skill points, etc. since you're max level and have better gear you kill things faster so you save time. once you make your 1st character and go slow, then you make another character and speedrun you'll understand.
@@SapiaNt0mata Did I say new players should do everything or do at their own pace? I speak for ALL player base that every players should play at their own pace
@@outforbeer "The goal should be to have fun, speed running thru to end the games is not recommended" why it's not recommended? not everyone play like you do. there are tons of people that will reach level 26 which is the required level for pvp and won't touch pve for who knows how long. and who told you that those that speerdun don't have fun and enjoyment? they do, but there are things they don't like so they skip them.
and when you say "but for new player, they should just do it at their own pace and enjoy" you mean play slow. once again you dictate how to play.
isn't it funny that speed runners don't give a crap how others play and the ones that care are people like you that want to play at a slower pace?
