@@LegacyGamingUS So I got curious and read some Korean comments about Pheons and some of the comments said three things. 1) Back in the old days of Lost Ark, the seller had to bear the cost of putting items in the market. Therefore, most sellers only sold only somewhat decent items or good items on the market. Almost nobody sold miscellaneous items. So Smilegate got rid of that system and introduced Pheons so that the buyers are responsible for the trading costs, and the market circulated actively because of it. 2) The Pheon system is there to prevent (or at least lessen) people hoarding items in intentions to manipulating the market. 3) Slow down inflation of gold I am not good at understanding these market structures so I have no clue how number 2 is correlated. Maybe because it costs pheons when they try to hoard items so it is not financially beneficial for them.
Going to come in and confirm what your guess is with #2 to be bang on. It stops price inflation from people buying good/popular items out and flipping the prices constantly to make a bigger profit. In turn this does #3 as well, but I feel like the true purpose of this all is to have people actually play the game. Why have a system where you can convert money to in-game currency without some form of regulation on purchasing in the auction house. It makes it so that when people purchase something, they are truly doing it because they need it and it’s helpful to them. While at first it sounds like something unnecessary, it makes the ability to purchase something amazing pretty equal for all players. It also gives players pause to say “do I need to buy this or can I get it myself?” Personally, coming from WoW where the economy got smashed from the multiple influxes of currency, this is a neat (yet at times frustrating) system that, yes limits the ability to purchase. However, it also limits the players ability to become gold farmers and promote a healthier economy of putting up to help others and buying to help yourself. Why would you want to waste a harder to get resource on anything but yourself? And also, why allow people to buy everything they need from the auction house and never play the game to unlock things? As an added bonus, anyone that wants to spend a ton of real money to break past this barrier is just helping the company more so it becomes a slight business scheme too. That’s my addition to try and help clear up any potential questions. I’m sure what I’ve said could be expanded on or better explained, and may be wrong completely but it’s my initial thoughts nonetheless. Happy grinding!! :)

Lol too funny, but you’re right. Voyage coins are used at the ships just outside each major city dock. Spend them on ship upgrades, new crew members, etc
Has anyone documented all the things you can buy with each of the stronghold seals? I don't want to waste them on one merchant when another merchant sells something more important or useful. For instance what are all the things I can buy with raid seals from all the trade merchants that visit your stronghold?
Maybe noon question. If I reach tier 2 without really touching the small islands' quests etc. Then I go to quest at these islands, the honing materials reward will be tier 1 or tier 2?

I hate these ftp games and having so many different currencies. I think they they do it to confuse people so that they waste currencies early on and then have to buy more for real money. My strategy has been hoarding all of it until I eventually find out what it's used for after I start end game progression. This video helped me some, so thanks for that, but I'm still confused. I hope that as I play, I will understand it better as I go.

Looked this up for courage coins and got nothing for them. WHERE the ACTUAL HELL do I find an npc for them??? Google said "next to all the pvp spots." There is literally nothing there on ANY map.
A video on Stone of birth would be great too unless you already made one. I've found several of those stones but most of them only has 4 points/knots/what ever the name is. How am I suppose to increase those if I can't get 5 points/knots and activate their first level?

Love your vids! I am having trouble fully grasping the skill... engraving system in this game. I am level 51 and I still am using a basic set of skills. I am thoroughly confused on how to get access to my characters ultimate or what I believe they call the signature ( I think) skill of my Gunslinger. I then saw a video where it says it is best to fully upgrade your class engravings before 50? Did I screw up? I only realized that the class engraving books used to upgrade those skills have grades? That threw me for a loop. I have almost no rare books to upgrade further. Should I start over?
There's some really good engraving videos out there. What I've gathered is you really want to understand this system. Before you dive into it because it can cost you lots of money and time. Biggest key is the more you upgrade your engravings (through the different books) the greater the bonus is on said engraving. So you have to figure out what engraving are you trying to max out? And then from there plan to acquire those engraving points. When you max out 1 engraving stone I belive it gives you 12 ability points in one skill. So you get alot of the bonuses from that. Basically look at your engravings skills plan out what you want to have maxed out and get engravings that have that. Your accessories also help with that. It's super confusing so I would say youtube engraving tutorials and you'll get it. But you didn't mess up so no worries

Pheons are basically a system to prevent players from hoarding items so that they can't manipulate the market. It is also a method of slowing down gold inflation. It is a good system.

Quick addendum. The heart shape currency can also purchase skins. Check the tabs at the merchant that accepts the hearts for gifts.

As you progress your item level you will start to get higher quality stones with more potential points.
