This is the best kind of War. Lee Oskar is really awesome on that harp. Such a good tune. Cheers! ✌️❤
more talent on that stage then any of the billboard top 100 of today !
😂😂
"and that's the truth Ruth"😎
100%
The truth sets us free ........👍🏽
I love how these bands just rip and chill at the same time. Man. So good.
This is War!
Pretty slick move... I love the knee dop the guitarist did! Gettin' on down on a Thursday morning!
Happy Thursday... thank you for sharing! 💖
Yes, they put on the best live shows! Pure talent🙌🏻💫💞
THANK YOU MIDNIGHT SPECIAL!!!
W A R wuz T I G H T !!!
The song should be titled Baby Brother. This version is from their All Day Music album from 1971. Me and Baby Brother was on their Deliver The Word album from 1973.
Thank you for the explanation. It's very different from the single. Still great but a slower bluesy groove.
Yep 👌🏽
What a band!
I LOVE the band WAR!!! Cool harmonica playing, like a slow moving freight train…Chug a, Chug a, Chug a, get on board!! ❤
I want a harmonica belt like that! ❤
fantastic performance.
Never heard this very bluesy version. Love it!
Come on seriously there so good
Dig!!!😂 Seen them in the early 2000s so much fun
War is the bomb 💣
Already working to perfect that bass player choreography in the intro! 💥🎸💥
Yeah that move would make me think twice with eight and a half pounds hanging on my shoulder
That was a slick move, don't hurt yourself.
Yes Sir a Chuck Berry move aka "Duck Walk feel, hear, dance Music
incredibly delightful
Wow, the original version from the All Day Music album! Thanks Midnight Special!
Lee Oskar from Denmark the best harmonica player ever. !!
His belt is loaded with harmonicas!😎
He has Mouth Harps with his name on them! Yessssss Sir
This version is much different from the more funky, slower version they released later. That guy can sure play the mouth harp, though!😎
It’s safe to say he’s probably a non smoker. His breathing control while playing is off the charts
That's Lee Oskar on the harp. Cheers!
Lee Oskar inspired me to learn harmonica. 😊❤
Lee Oskar was a master who later owned his own harmonica manufacturing company.
@@brotzmannsax Wow, that's really cool!
EACH ORIGINAL MEMBER UNPARALLELED INDIVIDUAL TALENT = THE MUSIC BAND ..THAT FUNKY JUNKWAGON SOUND 🎤 🎤 🎤 🎤 🎤
Blues version!! Wowwwww
@0:35 Bass Limbo ~i can do that too... IF i've had a Manwich
TMS did another double😮.
oops. the early morning crowds gets the sneaky views.
I don't like to miss anything if I can help it.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Lee Oskar was the only musician from back in the day who wore an entire belt of Harps in different keys/pitches
My favorite song by War... and I don't even have a baby brother! ❤😊
Go Lee Go 🤩🕺
This is not Me and Baby Brother, this is a different song altogether. Get it right, Midnight Special......come on!!!
Same lyrics though
Yes it is my brother it's the earlier version they changed it later with a more upbeat they got it right
As Elaine Benes might ask, “War, what is it good for?”
Lonnie Leroy Jordan and Howard Scoot good vocalsof the band WAR
It is different
Where was Papa Dee Allen for this performance??
Where's big Papa?!
Demais

The title of this song is not "Me & baby brother", but "real baby brother". Please make a correction.
Who ist papa Dee Allen?=
Where was Papa Dee?
On the timbales for sure.
His timbales and congas were on stage, but I couldn't see him there. Did you see him in this video?
He wasn't in the other songs either. The World is a Ghetto or Cisco Kid
I want to know why.
Not exactly the version of this song i wanted to hear.
Black Folk ain't COUNTRY... RIIIIIGHT!!!!
sarcastic voice if ya slo.
Lee Oskar was at the right place at the right time 😊
I think it's bill Dickens on bass and @0:35 he's feeling his groove! Saw War w/ Average White Band in '88 great show
This is awful VERSION OF
me and baby brother...😢😢😮
they later recorded it the way we know it...
GREAT MEMORIES ...
however the AMAZING PAPA D ALLEN on PERCUSSION was not PRESENT .. in this musical PROCEEDINGS 😊
