I have an idea for a vid. Running botW on cemu original graphics vs maxed out using graphic packs. Seeing how much difference it makes visually and how demanding it is could be interesting. Also to see if there are any major glitches/bugs. Not sure if you’d be interested tho

As I always say, and I even wrote it in this video, it's better to have two emulators than just one. Just yesterday, I was trying to play Bowser's Fury and it wasn't running correctly on Ryujinx, so I had to use Yuzu. If I only had Ryujinx, I would have had to wait for an update.
It's strange to me to run everything so well at all on an i5. I have an i5 6500 and a GTX 1070, and any attempts with the Yuzu emulator so far had terrible slowdowns. But I guess the secret is in your i5 actually having more clockspeed, even though an i7 seems the way to go. The GPU is not important, I guess. And I think Vulkan in general works better by decreasing slightly relative CPU usage and putting it more directly on the GPU. (The older emulators run pretty great, even if they were for the same games like Breath of the Wild or Skyward Sword...)
Your 6500 is a 4/4 CPU, the 10400 used is a 6/12 CPU (I use the 11400F, which is a slightly better model than the one used for the video), and the newest i5 (13400) is a 6+4/16 CPU.

amazing job. Still thinks astral chaing works better with open gl :) on yuzu ad I never had such problems with age of camility on my R5 3600 and GTX 980ti in yuzu (finished game).
I have already done other tests with Age of Camility and obtained better results. It could be that this version has suffered some regression due to the recent implementation of the new buffer cache, but over time everything will return to how it was before.
@@AlexwpiGame For me Age of camility works very simialr on open gl with nvidia shaders (glasm) and Vulkan. In Astral Chain Open gls is much, much better. Open gl on R7 5800x3d - 60fps avg (so it's the max as game is locked at 60fps), 53 fps in 1% low; Vulkan 59 avg but 39 fps 1%low, and what is more important with open gl frame varainces are longer than 4ms for 3.2% of all frames during test; when with Vulkan it is lonnger than 4ms for 35% of all frames (that is possible micro stuttering). On my old R5 3600 I was getting, at the same spot (city + IRIS), 32 fps avg and 16fps with 1% low (open gl).

Look at the stats though Ryu is definitely better in terms of consumption meaning it should be prioritized on lower end computers (require less muscle to run) or on laptops/handhelds (better battery life). On the other hand a great stat to look into is the Low 1%, most games seem to have higher lows on Ryu but the overall FPS are less stable. What it means is that Yuzu is more likely to drop more frames during heavy duty operations than Ryu but overall will perform better in long term gaming sessions. Again, goes to show Yuzu should be prioritized on desktop rigs or when your laptop is plugged for more gaming performance in longer sessions but that Ryu will perform better and longer on lighter weight machines.
I don't think fire emblem 3H works better on Ryujinx because fps drops to 30 under some circumstances. But on yuzu I can have smooth 60 with a bit of graphic glitches.

When the folks at Ryujinx said that their code would be written in C#, everyone thought it wouldn't be good, but here we have several reasons to prove that practically everyone was wrong. 🤣
This emulator is one of the most accurate currently available, without requiring super powerful hardware. Recently, I was testing some Nintendo 64 emulators that prioritize accuracy, and even with relatively average hardware, it was impossible to run at high resolutions, something that Ryujinx does very well.

In Yuzu, you generally get better performance, while in Ryujinx, you get more precision. Yuzu requires less powerful hardware, but it can have more visual issues. Nowadays, most games run relatively well on Yuzu, without major problems.

Most games can be played on both emulators, so it's worth testing to see where you can run the game more smoothly, considering what each emulator has to offer.
maybe because you do not have dedicated graphics card, radeon vega 7 is integrated. you must have dedicated gpu, these integrated are very weak compared to dedicated.
Ryujinx sucks because the performance is slow and Yuzu sucks because it has some graphic issues like button icons are not displaying and they never fix it after over 3 years lol Playing on Switch is the best option.
A have a gaming desktop PC with minimum 8GB ram and not planning on upgrading it either because I'm cheap. What worked for me to run smash bros with RyuJinx with a full 60fps is lowering the resolution down to 540p. I have a 4k gamer pro upscaler adapter so I'm fine playing at 540p upscaled to 4k with the 4k gamer pro. The 4k gamer pro is the main reason I'm not upgrading anything. Just lower the res and let the device upscale for me.

Cemu is the way to go for Breath of the Wild, I average over 100fps and just finished the game in time for Tears of The Kingdom.

It's become more of a case by case basis. Some are better on Yuzu, some are better on Ryujinx

The processors may not matter as much in this case, but Nvidia graphics cards have more optimized drivers for those interested in emulation.
I'd say 7800X3D cause of AMDs history of longer platform support on Ryzen.

How did you get yuzu to show when it's compiling shaders on screen? I remember it doing that for me at one point but it no longer does.
This initial gameplay was captured on CEMU; in Yuzu and Ryujinx, there is no way to display shader compilation on the screen yet.

In Luigi's Mansion, you can achieve a maximum of 60fps. Yuzu renders the shadows and lighting graphics better while maintaining a more stable FPS.

In yuzu, press ctlr U and in Ryujinx tab, if the game does not have the correct mod it can be accelerated.

Opa, já fiz live desse jogo tb, eu utilizava o Yuzu para fazer live dele por ser mais leve, agora depende do seu pc.
@@AlexwpiGame algumas vezes testando no ryujinx deu um bug de audio em custcene, ficando sem audio por uns segundos, na segunda vez que testei nas mesmas cutscenes não teve problema

they are very close, but in general, yuzu gives better framerates.
Yeah but Ryujinx is more stable and visually accurate, if you have a good PC then Ryujinx is the way to go

I tested totk and I finished botw before yesterday. it crashes a lot
Try using Cemu for BotW, I finished it two weeks ago and amazingly didn't have any random crashes, even sometimes with sessions over 10 hours.

@@spacewarhouse did not crash for me tears of the kingdom but the game needs work game is not even out yet there's microstutters all the time and I used Ryujinx for it and its not optimized well like breath of the wild I really want it to be like that like it is on cemu but that was a wii u emulator tears of the kingdom is nintendo switch game so I dont know how these emulators are gonna make it run well hopefully on the 12th they'll do stuff when the game is officially out
