I have a basement full of this stuff. When I was living in Japan, I started to collect games and ship them home because I didn't have room in my small apartment in Japan. At the same time, unknown to me, my Mom and Aunt were going to garage sales and estate sales and, as a surprise, my Mom started to buy all the console games she came across. She did this for 6 years. I was eventually surprised with all of these games and consoles at my 33rd Birthday. In 6 years, my Mom had bought over 4,000 games. I was shocked. She said the most games were 50 cents, a dollar, $2 at most. She is a retired RN so, I don't think the estimated $8000 she spent was too noticable to her over the 6 years. She also bought several brand new appearing boxed NES, SNES, Game Cubes, Genesis, Atari Jaguars, a few NEO GEO boxed consoles. Shockingly, I have over 500 Game Cube games. One garage sale, she found 20+ Neo-Geo boxed carts. She paid 10 each for them, or she spent around $200. My Dad was actually get annoyed with her because he made her move his boat from the garage to outside where he had to put a cover on the boat. To this day, I have close to 35 medium boxes of console games, and consoles that are now in storage. I think I might have $100,000 worth of games, plus consoles. WHen I told my Dad, he said, good, "you can pay us back the $8,000 dollars your Mother spend." hhahha

Last year I watched your entire room tour in one sitting. This is longer than Avengers Endgame. What console is good to start with? Great Job on the video Lithium! Best Christmas gift! Noticed we both have Super Mario Chess and Checkers!
If you want to start a collection I would keep an eye on good deals. Do researches on the prices and make your own limits :D It’s useally cheaper to buy convults (with games, more controllers/consoles at once) instead of everything seperate. If you are interested in repairing things your own, you can save a lot of money even with little things like cleaning up. Sometimes it’s just dirty contacts :) A good tip: Sometimes they sell n64/snes... for like nothing because they think the system isn’t working. When they show a light but no picture they often just have a ,,too modern" tv that requires a rgb signal which the old consoles don’t have. Of cause it can be a lot of other things too but most of the time its pretty easy to repair. (I hope its understandable english isnt my mothertongue :D)

@Emily Evans Stop promoting your channel :/
Last year I watched your entire room tour in one sitting. This is longer than Avengers Endgame. What console is good to start with? Great Job on the video Lithium! Best Christmas gift! Noticed we both have Super Mario Chess and Checkers!
I always recommend to start with the console that you have the most Nostalgia for
@@NintendoCollecting what about a system that you haven’t grown up with or had any nostalgia for?
@@cmwaves Wii U - great system, great games, great game prices.
@@RobIn-ky4uz already got it, my only options are really the Dreamcast, og Xbox, and n64 . Which one of those would you recommend?
If you want to start a collection I would keep an eye on good deals. Do researches on the prices and make your own limits :D
It’s useally cheaper to buy convults (with games, more controllers/consoles at once) instead of everything seperate.
If you are interested in repairing things your own, you can save a lot of money even with little things like cleaning up. Sometimes it’s just dirty contacts :)
A good tip: Sometimes they sell n64/snes... for like nothing because they think the system isn’t working. When they show a light but no picture they often just have a ,,too modern" tv that requires a rgb signal which the old consoles don’t have. Of cause it can be a lot of other things too but most of the time its pretty easy to repair.
(I hope its understandable english isnt my mothertongue :D)
Holy smokes your Nintendo room I’m jealous lol
This is amazing!!!! I'm a huge Zelda fan, so my room looks like this but 90% Zelda themed, and THAT took me a lot of energy, can't imagine collecting ALL of this XD, absolutely beautiful my mad lad 😋
Part of your poster collection should be one of your wife, so we know who to worship for letting you do this.
I want that Pokeball table. T.T
You can paint one yourself - it is quite a simple design. Just find a circular table, prime the table with white paint for a few coats, tape and then paint
@@NintendoCollecting wow gimme a nintendo switch😂😂😂😂
@@mehchocolate1257 haha no
@@mehchocolate1257 Maybe you'd have better luck asking to get that from Mr. Beast considering he's literally just walked up to stranger's houses and given them free money
@@mehchocolate1257 The whole point of keeping a collection is not to give any of it to anyone else lol
This room looks amazing your one of the reasons I’m a collector now
Congratulations. That's an incredible collection 😱 I hope you get the few things you're still missing.
Thank you!
