Survivor is my favorite band from the 80's. They had so many great songs including the ones from the Rocky movies ("Eye of the Tiger" and "Burning Heart") as well as "Poor Man's Son", "Is This Love", "Everlasting", "The Search is Over", "I See You in Everyone" and so many more.

I love you guys and thank you so much for reacting to these gyms!!! I was born in 73 so I remember living in the 80's as a "old enough" to actually listen to the songs and sing along with the songs. That era will never return just like the era of Elvis and the Beetles; every thing has it's place in time.
We went to see REO Speedwagon with Survivor warming up, front row center!!! Was one of the big shows that summer, it was 1985 I believe!!!
I would like to have a chance to go back in time, and I'm sure I would go to a Survivor concert, just to see Jimi sing live!😅

It's sad to think that there will never be another decade like the 80's. I was born in 1973 so I was able to remember ALL of the 80's. I love to sit back sometimes and just reminisce about those times.
"Life Without You" Live at Capitol Theater is my favorite for many reasons. 1) The seemless guitar change 2) He speaks to the audience 3) the lyrics he wrote & sings for his friend Charley were actually chosen for Stevie's own gravestone 😭 "for all the love you brought our way" 4) He plays guitar with something besides his hands. Unreal.

Jimi Jamison always reminded me of Steve Perry a bit. Such passionate powerful singers. God, I miss that voice. Have you done the Theme song to Rocky III, In the Burning Heart? Such a great song. You don't need to have seen the movie but you need to just know the premise of the movie a little to get the gist of it. Survivor under any iteration was great, but best under Jimi, I think.

Jimi Jamison took over the vocals with their second album. He was one of the best. His band prior to Survivor was Cobra. Their album First Strike was excellent. The songs “What Love Is” and “Looking At You, Looking At Me” are awesome. Check it out. Cobra - First Strike Album.

Guys, you should check more Survivors songs ‼️ The lead singer then, Jimmy Jamison is dead already sadly, but I think they still playing. Jimmy Jamison was actually their second lead singer, when Eye of the Tiger was another who left the band right after.
