I will never forget about how AWESOME of a Frontman, Jimi Jamison was. I have been a fan of Survivor since Elementary School (second grade in 1984, even as early as Kindergarten when Dave Bickler was fronting Survivor) and Survivor to me was the PERFECT EXAMPLE of QUALITY 80's Rock. I was extremely sad to hear about Jimi's passing. My sincere condolences go out to his Family, Friends, and Fans. His voice was PERFECT in every way and Jimi was 120% cut out for the Music Industry:-) Jimi, I miss you very much and I want to be a (Rock) singer myself one day (for an Alternative/Indie Rock Band). Your natural talent will ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED. R.I.P. Jimi, your LEGACY WILL LIVE ON.
I agree Daniel good call. They represent pure 80's rock. Fun Catchy Upbeat and feel good music. Look at the 90's all the great ones Dead of overdose or suicide or combo. Layne Staley, Cobain, Weiland, Cornell, Shannon Hoon of Blind Melon. That darkness in music creeps into your life. Music is supposed to be fun. Having people love your talent is supposed to be fun and a gift. Don't turn it dark.

I was in Detroit on the riverfront watching survivor last night. I was anxious to see Jimi I didn’t know he passed away. He was an incredible singer I just loved his look and his voice

Life is so precious! Who knew he would be gone a little over a month from then! He had an amazing voice and I was looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks. It will never be the same! :(
That is so tragic--u were so close! I am seriously heartbroken he's gone and that I didn't realize his raw talent until now. I don't like concerts, but he is one I would have traveled to go see. It is just such a travesty.
Was this group ever inducted into the Rock n Roll hall of fame? If not they should be, so many awesome compositions and the lead singer whew he could always sing.
Watching them makes my heart so happy and I hope that I will age like them, still full of life love and joy. Life is an incredible journey and I hope that we all have a good one while we're still here. Life and experiences like rock'n roll are priceless.
