i am sorry, but, i really didn't like, "everything's coming up roses"....but it is a great play on words, since her name IS Rose.......but, i don't like people who are two faced. Keep one locked behind closed doors. If female, be female ANY AND EVERYTIME out in public, and keep the male part locked behind closed doors, other wise you are just causing confusion personally, i want to be female......but lack the courage to go all the way....mainly because doctors, CURRENTLY, can only make me VISUALLY a female......i won't have a uterus, i can't bare children.......i am NOT a female.....hence, because i can't be what i want, i keep it locked behind closed doors i know MANY trans individuals who make very BEAUTIFUL women, women i would even love to date.....they care about visuals for themselves, and if that makes them happy, i am happy for them, and even encourage it
Just an FYI: Desire is meant to be non-binary and is played by a non-binary actor, Mason Alexander Park; both have they/them pronouns. Park is definitely one of the highlights of this series; every scene they're so magnetic and nail that combination of menacing and alluring from the comic perfectly.
@@ShadowyFox_86 its funny when you think about a aspect or emotion having emotions like desire has lots of desires themself's dispair is always in severe well dispair and dream is always dreaming so the material plane and all other planes pass him by seems to me these aspects all are in their own little feedback loops
I always enjoy watching people as they realize who the three people in the diner are, and what they're organizing, but your reaction was about the best. 🙂
I didnt think I'd enjoy a comic-reader reaction so much. I've been eating up reactions from people who've never read them to see them discover it all. But it's quite nice to see it from someone who knows it all as well.
Can I just say seeing your moments of pure emotion and when you tear up (like in the beginning when her brother is ripped away from her) you remind me of myself when I watched this show. 😢 Love your reactions.

I always look forward to your reactions. I wish season one would’ve taken a moment to explain why Hettie is 280 years old. We saw her in episode three, and then in episode six Death mentioned her, but it was never explained. I’m gonna go look it up but won’t say anything here.

In the case of Desire, they canonically have all genders, so any pronoun is correct. Mason you're spot on with though.

The diner the collectors meet at Mike's Drinks & Burgers is a fantastic reference to Mike Dringenberg, co-creator of Sandman.

I think the Hettie story happens in later story arcs. The same with Nada.
