Gah damn just casually opening with Donna Lee at like 300. Woo burnin 🔥🔥 also loved the version of Nardis you guys played, it was so sick going from a med swing to that Cherokee style double time, then the end was really unexpected when you when to that funk groove and Jacob was playing like herbie, that was smooth!

Every performance is just such a pure and complete demonstration of the range of the instrument. You show every subtlety the instrument is capable of, every time.
It's all those facets that I knew drums are capable of that drew me to the instrument in the first place. I don't know if you're into rock climbing or not, but you're the Alex Honnold of drums...

Incredible playing a lot of practice love and dedication to drumming. My teacher way back in 1980 said no one plays a drum roll the same. ( meaning self expression can only come from the player) . I believe it takes a lot of time to be confident behind the drums. What do i mean...! ? Well sometimes the kit can feel a challenge but when it becomes part of you it's only then you feel confident behind the drums

Greyson is probably the greatest drummer ever!! The talent is insane , his Musicality and interpretation is off the charts. I’m a professional drummer and played with some giants in jazz like . Stanley and tom turrentine, Freddie Hubbard, brother Jack McDuff to mention a few Back in the Late 60’s and early 70’s before going into a full time career in law enforcement to secure a pension as I just got married and playing full time wasn’t conducive for a family lifestyle nor assuring a stable life with a family. Jazz life is not for everyone.. again, this kid is one awesome talent

Amazing Greyson. Phenomenal. As a young and developing drummer in Jazz and other styles I wonder, is it worth it to learn traditional grip? Ik you said you switched to it after playing exclusively match and is it worth learning if I’ve already got the skills I have with a grip that already works everywhere. Once again phenomenal job man!
Anyone watching the, El Estepario Siberiano, channel? He just did a pretty cool video on Mr Greyson, it’s funny, and covers a drummer enjoying another drummers, passion. Yeah no doubt 3 pairs. Dam this thing is recorded great, the cymbals are almost chimes, at the end.
