I did this w my son last summer. A drunk driver almost took his life. He was to start law school the following week. He had to learn to walk again. He’s doing great and is set to begin school this fall.

This young man went from death to brain damage to relearning basics to dunking baskets, what an incredible recovery and blessing from God. TIRR works miracles but can only go so far, it really takes full commitment from the family, particularly moms, to commit to all the OT and PT requirements 24/7. My Twin sister died for a couple hours at the age of one and half years old from terrible asthma. My mother did not accept that so she went to her room and prayed for hours calling her name telling her to come back. A few hrs later she opened her eyes but was not moving nurses came to watch my mother kept praying till she began to blink. Long story short she's a UC Davis graduate and married. Mothers are a different breed.

Wow that's incredible! They say 3 minutes of no oxygen is enough to cause brain dead. So for her to survive after hours of no response is a miracle and only the works of Faith in Our Creator!

I still wonder why it is still impossible to convince (some) people that miracles are real! Someone will, inevitably, say that the drugs used during CPR, just kicked in, or had a delayed effect. No, that’s not it. Jesus raised Lazarus, and he heard this mother’s prayers, and returned her baby. Faith can move mountains and nothing is more powerful than the love of our Lord and savior, followed closely by a mother’s love.

A mother's love makes miracles. A friend of mine gave birth to her stillborn baby at 6 months, and she refused to accept his death. She hugged him until he began to breathe. He's a young man in his 30's now.

That happened to me too. The docs had to call my mom all the way to Georgia but already let her know she'd be coming to claim my body.
But my mama immediately began praying. They also said I'd be a complete vegetable, I've taken care of vegetables when I was nursing in my early 20s. I was 17 when the accident happened. Thank God for mothers, and His Divine Grace and Mercy!!

Happened to me when I was 5, I died 3 times from being thrown 60ft. Had surgeries, had to learn how to walk & talk. Had seizures from 2001-2006 and I’m now 25 so it’s beautiful and a blessing to get his second chance at life. Hope he enjoys

Having survived a life threatening illness I thank God for praying Mothers. When the doctors told my Mother to prepare for my funeral, she prayed and spoke life into my body. I made a full recovery. My Mother is with the Lord now but I still hear Mother praying for me. God continue to shield and protect this family. I can’t wait to watch this young man play his first game for the Rockets.

His mother prayed to God, the One True Living God and she believed that God was listening and also speaking to her son, telling him she needed him. He came back to life... As documented by doctors, nurses, other care takers and of course his mom. So tell me how can you say people who believe are delusional! Delusional is believing something is true when it isn't. So that means you are the one who is delusional. And you are taking the Lord God's name in vain which is a sin. And you may not care now but one day every knee will bow and confess He is God. I pray God has mercy on you and you come to the light and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, confess your sins and ask Him to come into your heart and guide you to have a good life here and eternal life so that when you take your last breath here in earth you can be in heaven and not in eternal damnation. Think about that ... eternity is forever and ever and when you take your last breath here you won't have another chance to change your mind. This story touched my heart so deeply. My daughter suffered a TBI from a car accident in December of last year. She’s still recovering and learning to read and comprehend and have use of all her limbs as before. This story really made me cry and have even more faith that my daughter will be whole again 🙌🏾🙏🏾

Two of my boys were involved in a very tragic wreck... my oldest tore his right leg out of his hip socket, surgery. He stayed conscience. My youngest had broken his C7, burst fracture, stayed seizing for over 6hrs with TBI. They told me he would probably never walk and he's suffered the same as a baby with shaken syndrome. He's got his issues but he's walking and he's talking! even got himself into fb about 6 days after the wreck! And he was walking on his own within 3wks! He truly is a miracle!

What a miracle! This brought me to tears. I've worked with patients in rehab who survived from traumatic accidents such as these and I can tell you that they need so much encouragement. Praise God that he is a living miracle and good job to mama for her prayers to God. 🙏🏼

One of my good friends was pronounced dead on site at a terrible head on collision but was revived at the hospital. Thank you to all of the first responders who give their all to save our loved ones and prayer doesn't hurt one bit. Blessings to this young man and his family.

I’ve seen several parents who prayed and prayed and their chid still died. Every injury is different, every minute of medical care matters and lastly, not everyone recovers. This boy won’t be the absolute same after a TBI, unfortunately. I hope that he’s able to regain his mental faculties to live independently one day.

warriors lol. always makes me laugh when people talk about people being warriors in this day and age. real warriors are extremely rare now that we no longer live in medieval times or earlier. kudos to them for surviving a near death experience, but that's nothing compared to living in an African village with an everyday battle against starvation, disease, raiders, wild animals, etc. just sayin.

reminds me of my then 17 year old cousin who was hit by a speeding car as he was crossing the street. car didn’t even stop - just kept on going. he was in a coma for WEEKS/nearly two months before finally, miraculously waking up. our whole family was there for him celebrating holidays and his birthday in the hospital for the following year as he recovered. i am so incredibly happy for this young man to have recovered the same way and now able to get back to normalcy. the little every day things we are able to do are absolutely taken for granted.
So glad your cousin recovered and yes, you're absolutely right, we take so many little things for granted that we should be so very thankful for! ❤

I just saw this story and I was crying the entire time. Tears of joy for this young man and his Mom, she believed in God and kept her faith the entire time, she also believed in her son when nobody else did. Such an inspiration to see where God has brought this young man back in 1 year.
This literally sent chills down my spine the presence and the raw love of a real mother showed in this very instant and moment the sun pull through due to the faith in God and the faith in his mother she did not give up on her child she breathed life in existence back into her child my hats go off to this beautiful woman and bless this young boy's heart and may he continue to thrive and excel in life

God does miracles. I am a mother who sees it everyday with my disabled daughter. I was told the same thing by doctors about her not walking, not talking, not hearing, etc etc. she does it all and more. I would just tell the docs do what u can and God will do the rest! These children have a purpose to live and they fight to live! Just believe!
