No offense and I love the Gracie schools but I studied martial arts and was taught how to AVOID fights or situations that could lead to fights. 25 years and although there were some sketchy moments, my training taught me more how to use my head FIRST and AVOID the problem before it becomes a problem. We studied every art but the best lesson was how to NOT fight even though I know I can.
All he did was fight a store clerk no robbery or crime against Bruce Lee legally he could press charges. I would bail out and air out that karate kid 🤣🤣🤣

@@Vladpryde There are 4 "degrees" to every rank, except black belt with 6. Each one is a stripe on your belt in a different color than your belt. The number of stripes is based on your skills in different areas. 6th degree black belt is the highest skill belt. There are 4 color ranks before black belt, and each have 4 degrees. There is also a red/coral belt after black belt, but that only requires that you've been an active black belt for around 30-40 years (depends on the school). It's more of a rank of experience or renown than skill. You will usually only see 60 year old men with the red belt. The Gracie's are the family that basically created what we know as Brazilian jiu-jitsu. So that means this guy got his black belt from some of the hardest MFers out there
@@Vladpryde There are 4 "degrees" to every rank, except black belt with 6. You will usually only see 60 year old men with the red belt. this is funny as hell but those are sort of like real call outs. so flatten him like a pancake is like lay them down flat and get on top then he put him in like an armbar or some shit would be the pretzel. it's probably how they teach their student how to remember stuff.
Looking at the date just five days ago made me happy. As a black belt instructor myself, I know the sad truth that over 50% of dojo’s closed down because of Covid. Glad his school made it! And our dojo survived too.
Closed down because of the restrictions.
Covid fucked up allot of things. Good luck to you and yours
@@JesusChrist2000BC closed down because the Dems needed mail in voting. No matter the cost. China also could benefit from Trump being gone. Why couldn’t we question where the disease came from for over a year? Funny you ask
THE GOVERNMENT DID THIS TO YOUR PROFESSION.
Scamdemic by design. I'd wager over 80% of small gyms closed...off the top of my head 3 closed in my 35k person suburb (to a 200k person city). That was all but 1.
Pure skill, no violence, this guy is a true gent
A great teacher for sure
TERRIFIC JOB...
A bit horny tho…
Ju-Jitsu is not just a self defense martial art, it also teaches you on how to control your emotions and maintain you calm during some very tense situations...
opposite from the p.o.s. that was laid out like a pretzel.
A fellow Bosnian, nice to see some of our in USA 👍🏻
Not only did he flatten and pretzle the man, he somehow also live streamed it! This man needs an award. He shows us what we need to do. To be good samaritans.
How to be a good samaritan (condensed):
- flatten someone
- pretzle someone
- live-stream it
Got it.
He recorded it for evidence, just in case he were to have charges brought against him.
Is it in twitch?
@@PeterPerhac You sound sympathetic to the perp. Very odd position to take. The man didn't use a gun and he didn't kill him. I think it taught that guy a lesson about picking on innocent people.
There were store cameras. Thats when the altercation began.
Once he had control, he began recording and it could be used for evidence in case the perp tries to sue.
Thank you for reporting this story I love seeing stories like this instead of the stabbing and other stuff that goes on around the Chicagoland area!!
You can tell he’s a humble dude even though he’s a badass. Respect.
Homie just wanted Slurpees 😔
Islam
Yep that is the way to do it..."Slam him down like a pancake and fold him like a pretzel." 😂 I love it and good job Sir! 👏👍👌🙏
Sounds like he turned that dude into snack time.
Made this Vegan hungry 😂
Fixed that man tf up now mfs wanna apologize I cant breathe😭
Reminds of Zohan hahaha!
Yeah right, you ant going to do nothing, probably get knocked out if anything.
Well done man, thanks for having the nerve and sharing your skills w your class
If I lived near Chicago I would DEFINITELY take classes from this guy. What an awesome human
Self defense classes pairs in comparison with what your dealing with in Chicago
Don't go there takes 2 or more of them to get 1 little guy to the ground learn to fight and defend yourself you don't want to be like those wusses
@@odeb8594 true. Better to just not be there at all.
Yeah #1 self defense in Chiraq is 2 plates and a rifle
@@odeb8594 It's pale in comparison.
He can record AND help ?? Shooooot give this man a raise.
Folded this dude like origami AND STILL was able to take out his phone and livestream it? Absolute legend.
I just got done watching the full 18min video on UA-cam it was crazy

No he folded him like a pretzel😂
Thank you for the kind words, I’m no legend. It’s just that I did this technique 1000s of times. It’s just another day on the mats for me. I’m just glad no one got hurt.
The way he paused before saying "Why not learn it now?" gave me chills.
We need more stand up people like this! Very proud of you 👏
Amen!!!
But but pink and blue haired femenazis are going to get triggered over toxic maskulinity!!! Noo!!
Misdemeanor? !!!! Those that govern that city are completely lawless!
Liberal city, what do you expect.
Leading by example. Good man.
This dude is such a beast, not only did he tie him up with the thief’s own arm for like 18 minutes. But he also went ahead and LIVE STREAMED IT. Like he somehow found a way to get his phone, scroll though it then press record WHILE stopping the thief from doing anything.
I just saw the live 18min video on youtube
The hold he was using only requires one arm once he has the guy pinned
I imagine that it was to protect himself from liability and prove that he only used the minimum amount of force necessary.
It’s because of all my years of training jiujitsu that gave me the confidence to do so. I’m just glad no one got hurt. I have taught this move 1000s of times.
@@idrizredzovic6551 You're lucky he didn't have a buddy to shoot you in the back of your head, since while you're lying on the floor, your situational awareness is gone. Too many martial artists pretend gunpowder doesn't exist. I hope you're not one of them.
jiu-jitsu : the art of folding clothes while the man is still inside them
Dude LMFAO 😂😂😂😂
Best comment on here lol! 👍
You get 50 points for that epic comment!! 👍😆
great comment
This is brilliant😂
“Why not learn it now?” Excellent point sir. Excellent job and awesome self control. I was looking forward to seeing the crooks booking photo but was a little surprised when he wasn’t touched up at all. The sigh of a true professional.
Why not flee Chicago?
This is good to hear that a single man is helping other men and people that need help and not asking for anything !
As a kid, I was bullied one time and all my uncle's students from his martial arts class confronted the man that bullied me. Needless to say no one bullied me after that.
Did you join the class to learn how to handle yourself? Knowledge and techniques are power.
are your uncle's student bullet prooof?
You got lucky then, most of the time, they would have just got you when those guys aren’t around
A man was bullying you as a kid?! Thats messed up…
Yeah, having a whole crowd of people gang up on someone will do the trick. Glad you learned that super useful self-defense technique ...
“Earlier in the day police say the same suspect stole from that store”
Good job police. Really keeping those criminals at bay.
Thanks to Lori Lightfoot, the best mayor in the United States, crime is not gonna be a problem anymore in Chicago!! Oh wait...

Bosnians are allways a good crowd. Never heard or had any negative interraction with them.
This dude is calm, fully in control, and saved lives. Bless him!
Hahahahaha saved lives?
Jiu jitsu training emphasizes being calm in chaotic environments
Saved lives? you waste of oxygen
@@patrickwhite4449 Well he was already attacking people and robbed a store. It seems like he wasn't in a good Samaritan state of mind so who knows what he could have went on to do next. But instead he's in jail getting processed so yeah he damn well could have saved lives. Try being less arrogant and maybe you could actually do some good too rather then making usless comments on the internet.
@@brandigreco5475 saving lives is a hell of a stretch. I get the idea but quite the overstatement.
Thugs getting lessons taught to them by real men will never get old.
What these criminals do not seem to understand is, they are the BOTTOM of the food chain. Just noone wants to get dirty and wrestle with them. THEY are the weak. THEY are the victims. The predators are all of us. The hundreds of millions of non-criminals who are walking all around them... These hyenas run around thieving, nipping at people, harassing people. We are just often too bored or tired to do anything about it given our justice system, and the likelihood WE will be charged for getting involved... It is WE who decide when and if we want to get dirty tangling with these kinds of people. We decide when to take them down and process them into prison. They are all just one takedown away from prison, and the more they act out, the more LIKELY it becomes that they will be taken down by someone whose had enough of their shit. The odds of their being caught and imprisoned are exponentially related to the severity of their crimes. If this guy had just continued harassing people in the parking lot or stole some minor item again he would have escaped - again. But he chose to escalate it and hit someone. They all have some line that they cross, where they commit their last crime for a long time (because - then they are going to prison).
