Notice the passer-by enticed by the boy, having a protective body language with his arms folded. The boy imitated him. The adult took the initiative to walk toward the end of the pier, full of cameras and site of a manned booth. The parasailers did the right thing but at a risk for their reputation. Then after police was involved, the investigation, although abundantly rich with witnessing, with video and the quality of the passer-by explanation (a top lawyer himself) led to NOTHING illegal. The result is that the parasailers still could lose their business for what they did getting involved BEYOND the purported protection of a kid. A lie (typical lawyer stuff) about being father or not is not punished by any imaginable law.

I have custody of my nephew and when he first came to me at the age of 12 there were a lot of issues where he would run off. Usually it was unexpected and I just had to wait until he came back out for brought back but one day I caught up to him and I grabbed him by the arm and try to get him in the car and he started yelling to this random guy that he didn't know me. I wasn't letting go of my kid because he would have taken off again but I s stood right there and I told him I encourage you to call the police because I know I would in the same situation. All three of us stood there until police came and sorted it out. Until that moment , that guy was certain that I was a kidnapper LOL. I thanked him for his concern. Cops told me my kid needed a good ass whooping. I agreed and that's exactly what I did when I got home. Yeah yeah I know. Spanking doesn't work, which is strange because that was the last time he ever did that. He's 15 now and so spoiled I would literally have to throw him out the door to get rid of him LMAO

    • @remylagouler1508

Good story. This spanking was profitable. Kids have better and closer relationships with all internet connections than adults and therefore are aware of the pervasive American paranoïa about kidnapping. They take advantage of it. In case you had managed to drag him into your car, then departed, a full fledged investigation would have been launched and would have mobilised a police team, maybe for weeks. Once located, your relationship with your nephew would have been scrutinized and he might have finished sent to the social services and you to jail. In fact figures show that there are no more kidnappings per US inhabitants today than there were 60 years ago. By then, a story like "CDA parasail staff save a child" would have made everyone laugh laud and shrug shoulders. But then no internet ....

Not that we ever did, but its getting so beyond a problem at this point and our prisons are already overflowing, the best thing we can do for society at large is to give instant death sentences. Even if you havent committed a crime yet, if you are caught trying to kidnap a child, caught using CP etc it should be an instant death sentence. This is the only way to deter these creeps and if it doesn't deter them them then they deserve what is coming. No child should have to have their lives ruined by a groomer. These pitiful sentences and being allowed back into public on bail have to stop right now! I say this as someone from Scotland, who is fed up with these peds getting protection from our so called justice system.

My long time judiciary experience and street law practice says that there is more here than do-gooders, old ladies and pater familias characters, can see. The boy and the lawyer had been together long before the parasailers abrupt end. They are seen discussing very quietly on the video. The boy was in the water at the beginning, then got out to speak with the lawyer. His hair is still wet. He may have been interested to extract some material advantage from him or simply proud of finding interest from an obviously calm and educated adult. So "harass" is certainly not the right word to use. "Enticing" may be best describing the action aimed at the adult and performed BY the boy. I would not say that prostitution is his conscious goal but it may have crossed the mind of the boy. It may also very well be that the conspicuously missing mother was pimping her boy.

The child was swimming and engaged conversation with someone onshore. He then was pulled out of the water and dressed himself. He continued exchanging with the guy while walking toward the end of the pier, not toward a car or a boat. Here the supposed would-be "predator" knows exactly what he is doing. He is a very well-known family lawyer who graduated first of the class in his university. He has a solid law firm in Spokane. His knows his face is perfectly visible and he does not hide. He knows the pier is full of cameras. He never tries to entice the boy to do anything. The boy is visibly on a seducing-seduced mode until he decided to reverse to a childish basic behavior, remembering all the "wise" lessons he was fed with at school and at home. Like I can understand that sometimes you let kids branch out a bit, not thinking 20 feet around a dock is going to hurt anything. A "let 'em be kids" kind of thing, and that will sometimes result in a fall or something bad but normal.
But then, I'm also just suspicious enough to think, "Yeah, and that "something bad" could be a shark attack in the water or a kidnapper on the beach.
But then, I'd be considered a helicopter parent today and frowned upon.

if someone kidnapped a kid and the kid gets back alive
he should get less then someone that kidnapped a kid brings it back but raped it
and the guy that does all of that but kills it should get the max and be straight up locked up forever but if we do it like u said why should they let the kids live or let them go back to their parents if no mather what they do they get the max penalty
