- Hi and welcome to Micks Mowers
In this Video I have a Weibang lawnmower that the old engine is broken so its getting a brand new engine. the engine was purchased by myself from Briggs bits. so if your lawnmower has a broken engine why not just replace the engine.. it's cost effective and could be worth doing.

Hey Riley Boy. Great to see you today. My day is complete.
Good work! 700 series- best engine model of briggs nowadays 👍 nice weekend!
Riley boy is the star of the video with his dancing move over mic.
Lol.. he's a little pickle
I think even Pippi is excited about the new engine. His tail is just wagging😊
Lol it never stops
Riley dances better than me!
Lol and me
Cocker spaniel really good dog and brilliant with children they love chasing and finding a ball
Yeah.. she does all that
Nice mick I love getting a brand new engine to fit
Hi, Mick. First of all, you're a great Dad for including Riley Boy in your videos and everyone can see what a very happy young man he is and no doubt he is a future garden tools mechanic in the making. PS I have a 2005 Balmoral 14 SE and the Tecumseh carb (with bleeding valve) is knackered. The O ring is breaking up, there is fuel in the float, rust and yellow gunk inside the float chamber... you name it. I need a new 'Carby' , what do you reccomend?
Hi.. you need to get your hands on a Tillotson tk Carburettor and inlet manifold.. that are great..
Hi Mike, thanks for your video link , that cleaning out of the bottom jet solved my problem. You are a LEGEND, THANKS
You are welcome mate .. that's why I do the videos.. happy mowing
Good work Mick and Riley 👍👍
Well deserved engine swap, runs like new again 🔧
Mick the mower man has a one off style of mower that I've never seen or heard of that mower before glad you posted this video on this one Mick 😂😂
Good video Mick, much enjoyed, it was snowing here in Canada so lawn mowing a week or so of.

I had never heard of these before 15 minutes ago, I saw one for sale on Facebook, then 3 minutes later your video popped up.I am surprised the original Briggs motor gave up that early but I suppose they don't make them like they used to.

Hi Mick, just found your channel, and subscribed, love the way you work, very informative. I have a harrier 56 intex edge ,its about 18 years old. The build quality reminds me of the Kirby vacuum cleaners, it has the briggs and Stratton engine. The problem is, it will only run on choke, as soon as I take it off choke the engine won't rev up, instead the governor arm keeps moving and lets th engine rev, then not rev.seems to fluctuate, it then stops. Would you be kind enough to offer any advice. Thanks, Bob,
Hi mate .. try this video first.. it sounds like a fuel problem.. have you had the carb off.. and given it a clean. The main jet may need drilling and the drill bit you need is a 0.8mm just drill it carefully as they like to snap..ua-cam.com/video/81dO73OojPQ/v-deo.htmlsi=yXYUNPktULyYAfM3
Little Tiny Riley Boy, should be Big Gigantic Riley Boy!! What are you feeding that Lad??

@themowerman hello mick hope you can help I have a mountfield rv150 that won’t idle. Start’s first time on choke.runs fine on full throttle and that’s where it stays. Doesn’t adjust anymore from there. I can see the carb linkage no longer moves from the full throttle point. The lever moves ok but the linkage stays put.
When I got the mower used it was running 100mph. Higher than the full throttle is now. I cleaned the carb out and that cured it but it’s still the full throttle problem.
I have noticed that there doesn’t seem to be the small sprig that you’ve mentioned in a previous video. I don’t know if it’s ever had one or not. If you think that it is the problem where do I get one of those from and what is the spring called.
Hope you can help Jim.
Hi Jim. If you can send me some photos or a video via Instagram... That will help me out
Hi Mick.
Love all the videos.
I would be lost without them.
Can you please help me with a problem with my weibang WB537SCV.
I bought it from a landscaping gardener.
It starts first time.
The problem is with the drive.
I can put the setting to Rabbit. ( nothing happens )
Put it to the middle setting. ( nothing happens)
Put it on tortoise. ( and it pulls like a train. )
I’m not sure how to solve this problem.
If it had a drive belt. I could start there.
But it drives from a shaft.
I would appreciate any help and advice you can give me.
Many thanks. 👍
Hmmm sounds like the gearbox to me.. time to take it apart and see what's going on..
@@themowermanHi Mick.
Thanks for getting back to me.
Is the gearbox something that can be repaired.
It sounds like a job to me. That I will spend 3 days taking apart.
And then not having a clue, what I would be looking for.
Do you have any videos on this.
Many thanks.
@@grahamjohnston3899 it's a pro gearbox and can be taken apart.. I have never done one myself

They are ok engine as long as you maintain them
so many mixed comments on weibangs . heavy .
ni mick ive got a tanaka hedgetrimmer which all of a sudden started playing up as in where it starts it runs but then it wants to die any idea what could be wrong ?
Sounds like a fuel and or carburetor problem..

Maybe it's the audio but that engine seems pretty quiet?
It's a good Mick set up.. you should get one mate
