Embracing Imperfection in My Murals (Sony A7iv + Sigma 24-70 2.8)

- Less is often more, especially when it comes to painting. I find it always hard to withstand the desire to paint too much. As of recently I began using rollers to give my murals more of a rough texture. I'm allowing myself to leave bigger shapes very rough and unrefined. And it feels very good. I'm making progress and I'm enjoying the process.
I had a fun weekend with these guys in the old factory, exploring, painting, talking.

Haha 😂 It's more about imperfection as in working more unrefined. Potentially that makes it even more perfect overall? Time will tell.

Thank you! I mostly paint off of photos. The reference photo for this one was actually created by AI.
Another great piece of art, it sits well between and it all balances out.

Thank you for that! Yeah, it's a constant battle for me which one filmmaking style I should focus on. But maybe I don't have to. I might combine them both or do just whatever I feel like 😏
@@NickMoody I say don’t battle yourself with which one you should choose. Just do at that moment which one you feel inspired to do, because when you’re inspired, no matter which one you choose even if it’s a little bit of both, the end result is always enjoyable for the person that made it (you) and the person watching it.

Glad you like it. I'm a fan of pure and simple videos myself. We'll see how I combine this style with more explanatory videos in the future. I've got a few ideas, but will have to try things out.
