Sometimes catching a nice one after a long grind can almost be more rewarding. I’d rather that than not getting one! Hard work, great guiding and perseverance paid off!!! Nice work Glenn - gotter done!
Fished the same lake for opener. By Friday, our last day, we had only boated 3 fish and had 30+ follows. The last day we had perfect conditions and full moon, ended the day with 5 fish in the boat, all tigers of course😂
Glen you are a great Musky guy and I've learn so much watching over the years. Play back the first part of this video and watch how much you stare at that dam screen. Will the great sport of fishing for these majestic fish become just another video game?
Thanks for the support! With the perspective mode I can see if my guests have follows over the open water. In the shallows and weeds it's far less important. It's a tool like Side Imaging is a tool, we use it where it's valuable, but we don't just drive around and target fish, there's enough of those anglers on social media. We use it as part of what we do on the water during our normal casting runs.
Hi Glenn and the 54 or bust crew. Thank you for showing the grind, musky are my favorite fish to chase and it’s good to know I’m not the only one who struggles. I have a question for you and I will make it as quick as I can. I recently moved to a state with only Tiger musky and have been throwing my “normal” musky baits with no luck. Do tigers eat twin 10’s? Or do I need to step down the size of my baits? I understand muskies are muskies and won’t hold anyone accountable for any advice. Just looking for advice.
Thanks for watching! The grind is a big part of the game for sure. Tiger's in our waters are more aggressive than the native muskies, so they generally hit the baits first. We never find that we have to downsize for tigers.
Glenn, I have a black and silver, white belly, very large muskie trolling crankbait hanging on my fireplace that I would like to mail to you, if I had a mailing address. I know you are somehow connected to the store in Vermillion Bay, Ontario. Maybe I could send it to you there? I think the store is called Bobby's, or at least it was when I was there in 08.
I'm not going to tell you what the lure is and spoil the surprise. I will say that it was designed in Europe and a company here in the U.S. made them for a while. So far as I know, you can't get them in N. America anymore. I'm guessing it is around 15-16 inches long. Strictly a trolling lure. You wouldn't want to even try to cast it. Might be worth a shot in Eagle Lake this fall. It's yours if I can get a mailing address.

We all know the grind is real, and it's so rewarding to nail one at the end of the day!
The result is awesome, great for her! but embracing the grind is the part of the video and reality of musky fishing that I really appreciate!
We have to embrace the grind, it's what we do. When you are down and out, that's usually when it happens...
