I just can't tell you how grateful I am for how simple and easy you make these recipes. And your very laid-back delivery is just perfect... takes all the stress away. THANK YOU both for these valuable teaching moments that are also so entertaining!
Aw thank you so much Kathleen, that's the world's best compliment!
Not sure if I've ever commented on your site before, but I watch and cook your amazingness frequently. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
Mmmmmmnm. That looks tasty. I'll have to give it a try. Thanks 🙏
looks wonderful...Reebs wins the day with applesauce!!!!!
I love it when i have all the ingredients already in my kitchen. when i see a new recipe .. Im new here, ive missed alot of good recipes to try, i am trying to go Vegan. I need to categorize breakfast....recipes,...... lunch recipes........supper recipes......then snack recipes..thanks for all these recipes...I enjoy watching you prepare these...
You are such a Mench, I cannot wait to try this! i yearn for a Matzo Ball sequel in the Spring!
Great job, once again love the way you do your videos. No messing around, right to the point.
Love your recipes. Would love some burger recipes? so like bean/lentils/chickpea burgers?
We can do that
I’m in love with the spinach squisher, game changer. I gotta get me one of those babies 🤗🤗
Your videos are reminding me of Alton Brown, I think that’s his name. Great recipe, a must try!
You had me at potato, LOL. These look good AND easy. Thanks for the recipe!
Oh my gourd! I can't wait to make these!
I'm getting ready to go to sleep. This is making me hungry. Great thanks :) Looks delicious 😋
Oh, what a brilliant version for this delicious, but usually very oily dish. These latkes (latkeses? latki? 😅) are definitely going to star on my Hanukkah table. Thank you guys! 🙏😋🤘(Love your hair, Reebs)
Latka is singular. Latkes is plural. Latkes is used more often, because who can eat just one?!
Thank you Lisa!
You are so entertaining! Thanks for the written recipe!
I love that you added artichokes & spinach! I started buying frozen artichokes when you mentioned them before. I can’t wait to try this recipe!
Thank you Kathy! XOXO
The applesauce with a little red onion on top would be delicious! Thanks for the video and recipe!
Thank you Laura!
This needs a love button!!!! Looks like I finally found a latka recipe that actually holds together and doesn't fall apart as soon as it is touched. I can already see myself using the sour cream for other uses, like helping to cool down my plant based chili that I serve over whatever whole grain I can find. Thank you! :)
Thank you so much Kathie for the nice comment! So pleased you enjoyed!
Excited to try! 😋 I bought a few bags of the frozen artichokes after you guys mentioned them previously. Thanks for keeping us healthy! 🌱💞
You’re gonna love them. They are also a really good base to add to. For example, I can see myself making a curry flavored version.
Would Jared or canned artichokes work?
Oh yes, it looks so darn yummy! I will definitely give these space for the holidays🥰
Love that you use your HAND TOOL'S DILLION
The combination of potato, spinach and artichokes sounds awesome! I can't wait to give it a try 😊Thank you for the yummy & healthy recipe ♪
Hoooo these look delicious! Thank you!
Yum
Love your recipes thank you so much
Thank you Valerie!
This looks delish! I will definitely be giving this one a try. Thanks.
Hope you love them!
I needed this sour cream recipe for tonight thank you! Can't wait to make the potato pancakes as well, they look so good.
I love potatoes
and I used to love latkes
but they were so fatty
and thus unhealthy
these with spinach and artichokes
look delicious and I will certainly be making them
this holiday season
I use a nut milk bag to squeeze moisture out of veggies.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Looks amazingnalls!! Whats that flax binder??
Flax egg. To make a flax egg, mix one tablespoon ground flaxseed meal with three tablespoons of water. Mix together, and let sit in your fridge for 15 minutes to set up and thicken. It's that easy. You could leave it up to 30 minutes if you want.
I’ve got to make these! What was the funnel-shaped strainer called? Thanks
Love the recipe idea. Do you know if these work with frozen hash browns? Trying to save a little time....
Hello Dylan hello Reebs♥️♥️♥️♥️
Hey Valerie!!!
One step closer to whirled peas!
Be sure to use ground flax seeds for extra nutritional benefits.
Nice recipe. Thank you. BTW, UA-cam moved the description box to the right side covering the related videos on iOS
👍👍💪
Thank you for the recipe!🌹 Looks like something that we can make, even using our prehistoric gas stove (& gas oven), as currently, i'm obsessed with home-made oil-free baked potato wedges with teriyaki sauce and some yummy seasonings (because i cannot stand any oil), but latkes (and other types of "oladushki", a.k.a. mini-pancakes) are my sweet childhood memories. Do you mind telling me: would it be possible to use flaxseed (or amaranth) flour instead of chickpea flour? (Flaxseed & amaranth flour is easier to obtain over here)... Thanks in advance🌻🌱(and hi from Russia).👋🎶
I think the amaranth flour would be great! Thank you for the nice comment Val!
@@WellYourWorld i'll definitely try that. Thanks a lot)).🐳
I grew up with Latkes. These are good, but a traditional Latke has onion in it, and I did miss that. I will try again and add onion.
To make this even quicker and easier, you could use Trader Joe's frozen hash browns. They don't have added salt or oil. No preservatives either.
can you bake these on a cookie sheet with parchment paper? How long do you bake them?
Hi, I was wondering can these be frozen. And if so, how would you do it. Perhaps before cooking. Thanks
Worth a try.
How about with sweet potato instead of russet? I think that would be good.
Let me know if you like it!
UA-cam must know I love taters. Looks perfect, thanks for sharing!
Also. Team Applesauce.
OH MY GOURD. The trouble with your recipes, which is my problem and not yours, is that they always use a food processor and/or blender, neither of which I have. I do have an Instant Pot! And zero additional counter space. And what else now, a squeezer for wet spinach?! I'm surprised you did not have a potato squeezer. ANYWAY I think I will have to try to make this one. Maybe with frozen shredded potatoes dried in a low heat oven. I will let you know how it goes. :D
You dont need any gadgets more than a strainer and towels.
Let the potato thaw and put in a strainer. Squeeze out the water by pressing lightly on the thawed potatoes. Then transfer into a paper towel and blot dry. Basically the same with spinach.
I have a mesh strainer that I use for Everything and kitchen towels for food only. So you don't even need the paper towel.
I will look for the blog recipe. The poor video and editing work makes me dizzy. I love the older videos. They were easier and less distracting to watch.
Tough to find kosher frozen artichoke, but shkoyach!
