Jason and the Bright Followers aren't going to space, but to Dayglow (formerly San Diego) which is canonically a ghoul friendly city. In the ending slides some of them sometimes come back to Novac to help out after the second battle of Doover Ham.

One of the most interesting things about the Followers of the Apocalypse is how even with their benevolent ideologies, they still produced Caesar, who went on to found one of the cruelest factions.
Well yeah. Because he took the education they gave him and the history books he read and thought that it was the pre war governments that caused the apocalypse, which they did. A. Lot of the soldiers in the NCR are conscripts not full time soldiers which is why a lot of them don't even want to be in the Mohave as it ist NCR territory thay are just stuck their defending the place against Caesars legion because of the 2271 treaty with the desert rangers
When I last played New Vegas I actually paid more attention when talking to Manny Vargas about Boone and it feels pretty obvious that Manny is in love with him lmao. Boone sees him as just a friend, at least until she dissappeared and died, but for Manny it's deeper. When he says "she was a bitch and was gonna take Boone away from me" I think that sealed the deal 😅. Also if a Courier has the confirmed Bachelor perk, Manny can be convinced to reveal where Benny's next location is, suggesting that Manny may have had feelings for Boone.
Hearing "cut for time" and knowing this was done in 18 months makes me wonder what we could have have gotten also they needed another 6 months and more time on all the dlcs.
Never thought about it. But Primm is a microcosm of the main story. If Primm is new vegas as a whole you can let the ncr take over but basically remove the individuality of the town (ncr ending) you can get a wild card to fill the role who really has no right to be in charge (the yes man ending) you can use the power of machines to force the town to have law (Mr house) or you can just massacre the whole place (legion) kinda interesting
the good thing about the khans is the drugs. You can pass some speech checks at the drug lab and get basic drugs and improved versions of jet and psycho every restock.
I'd bump the Enclave Remnants to Epic Tier. Their role is small, but friggin' awesome, just like all their members. (specially Cannibal Johnson and Dr. Henry) The rewards for completing their quest is super worth it, including the elusive Power Armor Training, and a set of power armor to go along with it.
Ceasar (Edward Sallow) is a former NCR citizen and a former Follower of Apocalypse (linguist/anthropologist type). Joshua Graham (the Malpais Legate) is from Utah.
I think The best faction in the Wastelands of Post apocalyptic America is the Great khans hands down. The ending where they leave the Mojave and create a mighty empire with the followers of the apocalypse . This gives them the reputation of the followers as well as their knowledge , the strength and tactical know how of the khans would be a great combo. The ending slide describes how they built an economy used transportation , and actually governed their territory. This is the grand reset that the legion fought so hard for without the rise of horrible group of raiders obsessed with primitive technology.
The game shows that the NCR can't deal with all of the gangs and raiders because they are tied up with the Legion along the border. For the most part, of you side with the NCR win at Hoover Dam and win, they go back and deal with everyone else. Kinda amises me when some people in the community knock them for needing the Courier to do their work for them but, I mean, it's an open world RPG with multiple ending options. Nobody would remember the game if there was nothing to do because the NCR solved all the problems. The entire story is built on the premise that the NCR is stretched too thin by the fighting with the Legion, which is all along the border, not just Hoover Dam, according to dialog you pick up from various NPCs.
Strangely, if you go the route of suing them, the Crimson Caravan does nothing, while the Silver Rush attacks you, allowing you to get all that sweet loot anyways. Take Cass for the best of both worlds!
I wish Ceasar's Legion got more fleshed out in game. But what's there is just so good. Can we please get another Obsidian Fallout game that focusses on a Legion vs NCR war at scale? I'd love to have the opportunity to drive the NCR into the pacific.
Ron,great thx !!!Really enjoy this video😄👍!!!Yeah!Yes Man on top in Tier List, but it's unfair because if my character are male he need for Yes Woman 🤣😂😅... I’m waiting for a Companion Tier List and most Evil Characters of New Vegas Tier List too).
Could you make a How Good Is episode on each of the Perks that are broken, i.e. cowboy not working with the Police Pistol from dead money or In Shinning Armor Perk. I know you previously ranked all the perks but I really get confused if Demolition Expert actually affects the DLC weapons for instance. Love the videos and the upbeat attitude tho!
Probably because it has something for everyone. And can go between silly to dark and gritty quickly and doesn't feel off. The characters are also a lot more interesting imo.
I'd love some DLC factions some day! I'd rank the Old World Blues both Godlike and Human Rejects at the same time! ❤😂 Also ... Courier 6 will just have his own rank by himself in a corner slapping the player 😂 (Future for all factions ep too)
I still don’t understand why they haven’t seen the potential in doing a remastered release for both Fo3 and FNV… I played FNV more than Starfield since it’s release 😂
Moral quandaries aside I like the primal/tribal commradery of the legion and find them very refreshing compared to all the other factions. A return to the old ways in potentially the worst way possible lol.
I’m trying to finish the quest with Jason Bright but for some reason Haversam and Jason ran off and I can’t find them, any help? I’m on Xbox so I might be screwed.
I just started my first run a couple days ago and the escaped convicts in Primm did count as PowderGangers for me. I am now hated by them. Idc tho didn’t plan on helping them out. Not sure if that got changed or some how I screwed up lol
NCR are the strongest faction in New Vegas. There located in mostly all the wasteland. Plus they won the first battle of the Hoover Dam without the help of the Courier Six. Joshua Graham and the Cesar's Legion failed. For outsiders the NCR are still the most dominant and most powerful faction in New Vegas.
this is not how the game portrays them during the events of the story, even if they were the strongest faction in the mojave at the time of the first battle, the legion has infiltrated their command structure, crippled their morale and supply lines, and made several new alliances throughout the wasteland. meanwhile hanlon has basically given up on the war, and oliver severely underestimates the legion, allowing the ncr to fall behind
I hate the fiends but i think they are rad tier just because they are so fun to kill. Whatever build you're going, you can test it out on them and theyre saying random funny shit in the meantime.
One thing bothers me about your tier lists; you never sort within the tiers! You just put each item at the end of each tier as you go. Otherwise, I love your content. You seem to have great takes on everything Fallout N.V. 😁
Honestly the only thing I would disagree with is Caesar's Legion in S tier. They are undoubtably a cool faction, but they just feel so barebones compared to the other major factions. A shame, really.
Personally, I'd swap the legion and mister house's placement as I find the legion's reasoning to be lacking and they're mostly evil for the sake of evil. Most of the bigger factions at least make sense in their goals. Preserve humanity/class, restore america, control the technology, most big factions have an agreeable outcome with some dark/unfavorable side outcomes/motivations. I reeeeaaally would like a single redeeming factor for Caesar's legion besides not paying taxes lol.
Legion makes sense - their logic however is not nice. There are many ways to control a person, you can appeal to their nature - but what is the nature of what are deemed to be ruthless savages? The legion have a harsh rule because people respond 'positively' to it. They act more 'civilised' under legion authority - as traders have mentioned, there are less raiders in legion territory. It's safer. Caeser said he based his society around the romans, as he believes the wasteland is closer to ancient times, than it is modern, and a roman society is more likely to endure in the environment. Is he correct? Well he isn't nice - but his methods for his more limited resources do yield results in the wastes. I'd argue he needs to forego his detterent from technology and try to kickstart rebuilding/recreating old world tech before it is all gone, but otherwise while he'd definitly be bad in our climate, his goal of creating an enduring civilisation that serves as a foundation for a future people isn't wrong - it's more an "End Justifies the Means" sort of situation. Look at their evil tendencies in a utilitarian aspect, and chances are, the majority of the legions evils can easily be justified, they just aren't nice, though they are most usually justifiable if you are willing to ignore morality, which itself, is arguably a flawed concept when dealing the the amoral.
COMMAND AND CONQUER FALLOUT WAR PLAY 3 FACTION NCR FACTION LEGION FACTION BROTHERHOOD OF STEEL FACTION NCR VS LEGION VS BROTHERHOOD OF STEEL 3 ENDING NCR ENDING LEGION ENDING BROTHERHOOD OF STEEL ENDING
I am sorry but what cool characters in Ceasars Legion? Ceasar himself... and... err ... legate you talk once with? Or we counting Joshua who literally got kicked by them and is no longer part of it?
my opinion on "all" the factions in the game: NCR are mostly nice guys. However, its administrators, in addition to imposing abusive fees, are unable to defend or advance their territory. Legion have really bad guys. They are a little assholes, they treat women as if they were objects, they enslave innocent people and they crucify anyone they don't like, but they have a strong army and strong ideas. I killed everyone in the Fort 🤷 Mr House is a narcissist, a bit of an asshole, but very intelligent and with big plans for the future, but sees everyone as just chess pieces. Yes man is kind, ironic, and a cool option if you want to resolve most things through conversation. However, I'm finishing the game, and I don't understand why the Courier couldn't be the king of New Vegas, or help and protect the Mojave, and just cause anarchy. Great Khans, deep down they are good people. They are the only types of "raiders" that do not attack the Courier just by looking. There is also an option that, in addition to them making chems, they can make stimpaks, etc. And if I'm not mistaken, in one of the endings they help the Followers. Followers is the nicest faction in the game. They treat everyone as carefully as possible, and want to help all of Freeside, and probably Mojave. I didn't interact much with Boomers, but I saw that they are territorial, which is normal. When I entered that airport, they treated me normally. Then I did some missions and they treated me even better, but I don't know if they're bad guys. The Brotherhood has a lot of power, and if they allied with another faction, they would have even more strength. The problem is that they are crazy about technology and steal it from others. There's also the thing where they put an explosive collar on you, but you're the one who broke into their bunker, so, meh. Enclave is normal, they treat you well even though you're a stranger, few quests and I haven't seen how it behaves in other games. Chairmen, Omertas and White Glove I killed them all.
SMOOTHSKIN! Yeah Come Fly With Me is the most memorable quest in the game for me because of how goofy it was 😂 And the fact that you can totally fuck them over.
The Legion isn't "Evil" , it's "Neutral Evil" . They're pragmatically evil. They do fucked up shit for the good for the nation, and it works. There isn't a more effective faction in terms of tactics and strategy both in the game; even the VERY efficient Mr House is far less efficient than the Legion, and in a post Apocalyptic society you could justify being that shitty in favor of stability for all of society. I HATE the Legion and rarely use it for any of my playthroughs, but I feel that it's the least justified position amongst youtubers, but actually does have a position to be argued as an effective faction on those grounds.

Yeah that is true, and I didn't notice that at first but it does make more sense. Love the way the characters are written in this game.
The fact that Bethesda greenlit the writing for the institute and the railroad is nuts. They need to retire Emil Pagliarulo
This is the video I’ve been looking for. Thanks
Glad I could help
Follers of the apocalypse is the reason Cesar's legion exists along with yes man
"I still haven't played 76."
Ron, confirmed chad.
I wasn angry all watching the video until you finally put mr House in god like, thanks
I have also not played Fallout 76 but I know that it's the only game where you can actually join with the Enclave
Thanks for telling me that, I don't know much about 76.
Hearing "cut for time" and knowing this was done in 18 months makes me wonder what we could have have gotten also they needed another 6 months and more time on all the dlcs.
Yeah, I wonder what we could have got too! Even more so with DLCS after that too.
I love all of the factions in Fallout New Vegas. You also manage to dodge the bullet by putting every major faction in god tier.
Yeah they are pretty awesome!
That is true.
Vault 34 are the people you can save from the radiated part of the vault they move into the office park a few days later
14:00 he prefers the term Autocrat lol
Ceasar (Edward Sallow) is a former NCR citizen and a former Follower of Apocalypse (linguist/anthropologist type). Joshua Graham (the Malpais Legate) is from Utah.
Great video as always
Glad you enjoyed
Not vault 34, Boomers.
Yeah lmao that really got me
I think The best faction in the Wastelands of Post apocalyptic America is the Great khans hands down.
9:57 they are in fallout 4 now ever since the next gen update and you can actually join the enclave in fallout 76
If you didn’t upgrade Mr.House at the end there I was gonna have a tantrum
No offense, but this video could be remade with all the corrections from comments and added DLC factions. I like the idea for tier list
Yeah I agree
Man, Vault 34 is creepy no matter how many times i do the quest.
Yeah that place is pretty creepy.
Technically there's 3 couriers. That guy that's desd outside of the Mojave express building in Primm was a courier
I wish Ceasar's Legion got more fleshed out in game. But what's there is just so good. Can we please get another Obsidian Fallout game that focusses on a Legion vs NCR war at scale? I'd love to have the opportunity to drive the NCR into the pacific.
Fun fact their is actually a cut ncr super mutant ranger I forgot his name but he does state there are super mutants in the ncr
Thanks and that sounds like some awesome ideas.
I liked this. would have moved the Kings up one though.
That is fair, they are pretty cool too.
I’d enjoy a video on all the factions of the games
That could be really fun to do too. I would still have to complete fallout 76 for that video too.
@@ReapeeRonI think it’s probably fine to skip 76. For me, Fallout 1-4 and new Vegas would be good
Why is new Vegas so much better than the other games. The first two idk. But I own and played both 3 and 4 man it’s tough to get though
Probably because it has something for everyone. And can go between silly to dark and gritty quickly and doesn't feel off. The characters are also a lot more interesting imo.
I'd love some DLC factions some day! I'd rank the Old World Blues both Godlike and Human Rejects at the same time! ❤😂
Also ... Courier 6 will just have his own rank by himself in a corner slapping the player 😂
(Future for all factions ep too)
Yeah those factions could be fun to talk about too. The Marked men are pretty interesting.
E.d.e. is associated with the enclave too he was created by one of the scientists
Very goated tier list good job
NCR are the strongest faction in New Vegas. There located in mostly all the wasteland. Plus they won the first battle of the Hoover Dam without the help of the Courier Six. Joshua Graham and the Cesar's Legion failed. For outsiders the NCR are still the most dominant and most powerful faction in New Vegas.
Yeah I would agree with that.
this is not how the game portrays them during the events of the story, even if they were the strongest faction in the mojave at the time of the first battle, the legion has infiltrated their command structure, crippled their morale and supply lines, and made several new alliances throughout the wasteland. meanwhile hanlon has basically given up on the war, and oliver severely underestimates the legion, allowing the ncr to fall behind
was waitin for this one ron😊😊🖤
Hope that you enjoyed it!
Vault 34 faction: do you mean the Boomers? hmmm
Yeah I forgot which vault they were from.
Good tip!
Not including the DLC factions kind of make its feel incomplete
Maybe, I might do them on there own list too.
still waiting on the whole Fallout franchise faction tier list...:)
Are the tiers about how strong you think they are or how much you like them?
The players actually become members of the enclave in 76.
Thanks for that, I haven't played 76.
@@ReapeeRon love the videos, keep em coming!
"Their... Human eating issues" 😅
Yeah!
Let’s go been waiting for this one 🎉
Hope that you enjoyed it!
Obligatory The House Always wins also House isn't a dictator he's an autocrat
That's a fair point.
Obligatory The House Has Gone Bust! (bust by a golf driver)
God Bless the Enclave
🇺🇸
Isnt vault 34 is a home vault for boomers?
Yes, I messed that up.
Legion is based af TRUE TO CAESAR
COMMAND AND CONQUER FALLOUT WAR
PLAY 3 FACTION
NCR FACTION
LEGION FACTION
BROTHERHOOD OF STEEL FACTION
NCR VS LEGION VS BROTHERHOOD OF STEEL
3 ENDING
NCR ENDING
LEGION ENDING
BROTHERHOOD OF STEEL ENDING
That would be interesting.
10:04 I guess they are in fo4 depending on what’s canon with the creation club
11:39 using their weapons and jurry rigging is up there for best money strategy
Bro is Mr matty from the dollar store
I would love like a new Vegas remake so we get the full package
The entire point of New Vegas is that there are no God Tier factions.
I am sorry but what cool characters in Ceasars Legion? Ceasar himself... and... err ... legate you talk once with? Or we counting Joshua who literally got kicked by them and is no longer part of it?
Yes more tier lists!
I plan on doing some more.
@@ReapeeRon best crit build weapons? Best meme/role playing weapons?
my opinion on "all" the factions in the game:
NCR are mostly nice guys. However, its administrators, in addition to imposing abusive fees, are unable to defend or advance their territory.
Legion have really bad guys. They are a little assholes, they treat women as if they were objects, they enslave innocent people and they crucify anyone they don't like, but they have a strong army and strong ideas. I killed everyone in the Fort 🤷
Mr House is a narcissist, a bit of an asshole, but very intelligent and with big plans for the future, but sees everyone as just chess pieces.
For years I didn't think it was actually possible to successfully help them lmao
Those freaking space ghouls i hate that mission its such a chore! I kill em everytime!
Yeah it can take a bit of time to complete.
Caesar isn’t from Utah he’s from California. Joshua is tho.
House always wins, baby.
