Excellent review. I like the last two minutes where you point out the shortcomings.
Thanks, hope you found it helpful.
Interesting, a more tempered review which is perfect for what I'm looking for.
I got the Blon 03 cause everyone loved it and expected very good things. However once I changed out the parts and heard the treble my heart sank.
This is why this review is good cause I want that good treble, thanks.
Blon is overrated bullshit, they sound so bad maybe for 20 dollars the price is ok but people act like it’s some kind of miracle but Samsung akg free earbuds sound better
Just the review I was looking for...Thanks
Nice review Crabbos! :)
I wanted to buy them, but then you written review came out and I read that they have more treble then the blon. Thank you for saving me 80$ :)
Really not much point spending more if you already have the BLON. T4 is similar but has slightly less bass and more treble.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thanks I'll save money and sell them on eBay, but are they brighter than T2?
Yes, brighter than T2 but they have much better clarity and more bass.
Prime Audio Reviews thanks, I’ve become treble sensitive lately but t2 I can withstand but they lacked in bass, I love dynamic driver so might give t4 a chance first specially since most reviews confirming these have bass improvements Vs t2 but it all depends if I fall in love with blon first or not, they should both be arriving together :) ATM perfect bass quantity wise I’m loving senfer dt6 > Kz zs7. Didn’t like zs10pro, cca c10 or trn 60 but I like tinhifi’s tuning so should be interesting :)
Oh Dt6 pro should be here soon too, will let you know what I think abt all 3.
Finally had the chance to try them myself. They are great, despite of that cable and the slightly high price. I agree with your thoughts about them.
High price?
I am totally on board with your review of these. Though, for me personally, these are my new favs based on the few iems I have. My t4s arrived this morning. I wore them all day. I have the t3 and t2 pros (t2 pros had the not so rare mmcx connection issue and I had to return them after ab 2 weeks unfortunately). I have the lil bear b4x amp and the es100 dac. Normally with the tinss, blon03's, and my TRN B05's I will play with the earstudio equalizer of the es100s to compensate for where I feel it needs it. With these, for my tastes, they were perfect out of the box. With the amp they were superb. Very nice combo imo. (The TRNs I feel are NOT a good combo with the little bear, but I digress).
I'd say they're not for bass heads but that's not to say the bass is lacking. You're right on the sound stage, treble, and vocals. The instrument separation I think is fine, though, not quite as good as my t3s surprisingly. But that could just be nostalgia bc those were my first decent pair of IEMs.
Anyways, these are also much lighter and sturdier than any of the iems I mentioned, imo. The cord is great too. No need to shell out for an upgraded one. The blue foam tips (mine came with a bag of the fabled blues!); they are great as usual and like I said, mine came with several, thankfully... but I prefer my dekoni's for the softness
Tin T3 are better... Better imaging, better separation and better resolution because of the 2 drivers (1DD+1BA Knowles) !
How would you compare them to the t3? I lost my t3 and I loved them, don't know if buying this now?
T3 has more linear bass and midrange but has a lifted treble giving it a brighter tonality. T4 has more bass and upper midrange emphasis.
It's actually a carbon nano tube dynamic driver not berrylium
How do these inears compare with the one more quad driver?
1 DD for sub bass, 2 ba for mid bass, planar for mids, and estat or ceramic switchable driver for treble depending on rather or not music is acoustic or electronic. Tune it so that cost is below my budget.
Sounds expensive 😅
Great review! I'm looking for a commuter IEM (I commute by a pretty silent train, so don't need any brutal isolation). I listen to mainly to classical music (a lot of solo piano, guitar) and jazz. Do you think the t4 are a good choice? Or should I go for anything different, like the shuoer tape?
Either these or the Tape would be a good choice for you. Both have their strong and weaker points but you should check a few reviews for each before choosing.
For classical i would choose the tape just because its super detailed and clear
When using these for movies how upfront is the dialogue as I need a pair that puts a bit more focus on that area
They're good for that but you should check the 7Hz Salnotes Zero. It performs better and is more comfortable for much less money.
Ordered a pair and got two discount codes (somehow), so I also got the BL-03 for $9.99 and a secondary cable for the T4 for free from Linsoul's site. I currently use an old pair of Soundmagic E10's and a recently purchased pair of Sony MH755's.
I'm wondering how much better the Tin T4 or Blon BL-03 will be against my current pairs and if they will be ideal for metal subgenres. I've been told that a neutral IEM is best for metal. I'm no dedicated audiophile, but I do appreciate a good IEM for the price.
All of those should be okay for metal, the T4 especially.
Did your order arrive yet? Ordered mine two weeks ago and still waiting.
@ No, and I ordered on 11.11 too. >.
still waiting for someone to record it on Binaural recording
Why are you using the the foam tips? I use them to as I find they tone down the shouty vocals. Just wondering your reason.
I was using them for the video only. They're far too small for my ears so I have to use ones from my personal collection. And yeah, the shouty vocals are definitely an issue with these.
Thanks, you just saved me some cash. I think I will stick with my Shozy CP-3 for now.
I got these and i quite like them. They do have an upper mids/low treble boost which gives them a "fresh" character but can make vocals slightly thin. The bass is just the right amount for me. My etymotics are more neutral and realistic but less comfortable on the go.
I agree. I am kind of hoping for a slightly more different shell design next time though.
@@PrimeAudioReviews i switched the right and left earbud and turned them around. This makes them more comfortable because the part where the cable connects doesnt touch my ear.
hi, i own a t2, dt6, e10(modded to mmcx) and fiio f5. i'm looking forwrd the t4 bcuz like the t2, i like their design as i can wear them cable down, i don't like iems with cable up design. so is the t4 a good upgrade from any of those i listed above?
t2 with final e eartips are excellent but still lacks bass, dt6 is too bassy, e10 is very warm sounding but hollow and weak in volume. fiio f5 is great but not as refined.
my player is the ap80 paired with jcally type c dac.
any opinion is appreciated, thanks.
Hi. I'm currently working on my T2 EVO review and I like it a lot. The t4 might be good if you want more bass but I prefer the EVO, especially in the treble. It sounds more natural and accurate to my ears. If you prefer a shallow insertion the t4 works best. If you go for deep insertion I think the t2 Evo is really nice.
@@PrimeAudioReviews woah that was a quick reply! thank you.
might as well wait for t2 evo, i don't mind brightish treble as long as its smooth and detailed and not harsh but still i need a little bass. emerging t2evo prices are at 60$(not so many sellers yet) while t4 are 70$ here in the philippines.
What is the dap that you have in this video? I dont think i have seen that before
It's the ATC HDA-DP20.
E40 , aria or t4 or should I save some more money any recommendations in this budget
Can't go wrong with Aria.
I just received it today, however my right bud keeps cutting out. Are the connectors supposed to feel loose?
They are supposed to spin freely but if either side is cutting out then it is faulty. You should try tightening the MMCX connector if possible: if you do a bit of searching you should be able to find a UA-cam video that shows how to do it. Otherwise, test with another cable if you have one or be prepared to send them back for replacement.
Saw and read your written Review of T4, for the same retail price Shuoer H27 should have better resolution, better bass, warmer mids and treble extension...imaging and separation, please confirm or comment. (PD. I own Tin T3 also.)
The T3 is pretty close already to the T4. H27 felt like the midrange was missing fullness but is a very clean sound with good resolution. I find the T4's imaging pretty flat.
Hi PAR, which will you personally choose between Aria and T4?
Aria all day friend!
Should i get T4 or Fiio FH3? I have small ears so T4 might looks better wearing. Hurmm..or should I just ignore the looking?
You should totally ignore how they look. FH3 all day!
@@PrimeAudioReviews ok i will buy it tomorrow
What would be a good ( cheapish ) audio player to use with these ? Or is a phone ok ?
Any hello would be great , thankyou 👍😂
Hi. These will work fine with a phone but if you want a good, affordable player check out the Shanling M0, Hidizs AP80 or FiiO M5.
Mine took about 1,5 months to arrive... To be expected when ordering from China, i guess. But mine don't work right (bad connectors) and after several emails, i have still to receive a response. So... Aftersales sucks, at least in my case
Yeah, honestly, I don't know why Tin Hifi are still having problems with their MMCX connectors after all this time. They need to get that sorted by the time of their next release.
What Iem's would you recommend for around the same price as I'm not to sure to get the t4 or not. I'm really just looking for some that have clear audio and nice bass
I'm glad you asked. I would absolutely recommend the Moondrop Starfield. My review will be up really soon. In my opinion, it's much better than the T4 and will be going straight onto my best IEMs list on the website.
@@PrimeAudioReviews thank you! I will keep an eye out for your review and look into them!
great to see reviewer not jumping on the hype train like others and offers honest opinions....
Thanks, hope you found it useful.
But his honest opinion was quite hyped.
@@humanbass Because the T4 is worth the hype.. I received mine yesterday, and was absolutely not expecting them to sound this good. They're no joke.
Just wondering does anyone know what aftermarket tips from either comply or spin fit will fit the new T4'S? Thank you!
T400/T500 or CP145/CP155 should do the trick (T4 nozzle size is about 5-5.1mm).
Awesome thanks for the quick response mate!
By far the best foam tips in terms of sound quality = NewBee
The *Tin T4* is almost close in price to the *Shuoer Tape* . You had the opportunity to listen to both. Which one do you prefer?
Very good review💎📼
They're both good iems but the Tape is more resolving and not as bright so it gets my vote.
@@PrimeAudioReviews What does resolving means if i may ask?
Resolving just means high-definition, meaning individual instruments are clearly defined. Think of it like an old TV vs a 4K or UHD TV.
@@PrimeAudioReviews compared the tape and t4 is the resolving comparison is better on the tape by huge margain?
@@BlackR92 Significant but not huge.
Thanks for the review. Can you compare them with Toneking 9 Tail?
9 Tail bass is not as tight, although, to be honest I haven't tried with blue rear filters for ages. They have a similar tonality otherwise but I still think the 9T treble has a better timbre and a similar size soundstage.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thanks ✌. Generally, I use them with blue filters. Midbass is a little too much for me from other filters. I think it is related to what I listen to mostly. I bought nine tail with your rec by the way. Thanks again.
How does the T4 frequency response, clarity, soundstage compare to the Shuoer H27?
The H27 has more lower and sub-bass plus more emphasis on the upper midrange and treble. This makes it more V-shaped (vocals further back) but it has more clarity than the T4. Soundstage is larger on H27.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thank you Sir!
I want to upgrade from KZ ZS5/ZST, and I am totally confused. Mostly I listen to rock, metal and a bit retro game (midi) songs. I care details a lot, rather than heavy bass or too bright sound. My budget is about $70 and I don't know which iem suits me best.
Check out the Tin Hifi T2/T4 or BLON BL-03, Yinyoo V2.
I am a rock guy and metal guy myself. The BLON are a good choice but I think the TRN BA5 are $60.00 (5 BA setup) and would be the best. The fit is really nice too as I own both..
Are these a worthy upgrade from the t2’s? If they are, how do they compare with the shouer tapes?
The Tape is more detailed, more dynamic and has fuller bass and better midrange.
@@PrimeAudioReviews aww man... I was so on the fence about the tapes or these and these won out bc of the price difference. Do you think that the tapes are a worthwhile upgrade or should I, since I now have the t4s, go a step higher to something maybe nicer than both of these? Say the P1s? Or do you have other recommendations for a nice step up from the t4s/tapes?
@@Welcome2Niches did you receive T4 already? If you did and you enjoy them maybe you should just enjoy those for a while. After all, the next best thing comes out almost every week. I still love the P1 but there are several new planars that just came out (Tri I3, Toneking P10) and I would wait for the verdict on those before upgrading.
@@PrimeAudioReviews oh for sure I will wait. I guess I did sound like I was ready to just buy another lol. Anything over $100 will be a wait. I absolutely love love love these t4s and yes I got them yesterday. The idea of planar and electrostatic IEMs fascinates me and I have had my eye on those (the Tapes and P1s) for a good while now. Well, the tapes are newi-sh, but the p1s a while. I got the t4s bc of the gr8 intro price on indiegogo. My intial plan was to buy the p1s and pair them with the little bear b4x (thats why I bought that). BadGuyGoodAudio had a video on the pairing of those 2 being amazing. I found it after I had been looking at the p1s
How about Tin Hifi T4 compare to TFZ No. 3? Which one better?
It will depend on your personal preference. I would choose No.3 for the comfort/fit and because I don't like the shouty upper midrange of the T4.
Hi congrats for your reviews. Awesome job. I’m drummer and love to play my acoustic drums over the music that I have on my ears (iPhone +Deezer Hifi) no drums return on my headset. A very important point for me with the instruments representation. I want natural instruments full sounds. I listen rock punk metal hardcore... (I’m a ‘’TOOL’’ band fan if you know). Those IEM are your advice? I also look at the Tin T3/ Tin T2 Pro / CCA C12 / do you have any other advice for my use? Thanks in advance. Take care (from France)
Hi. I think since you like to use earphones while playing drums the FiiO FH1s would be better. The FH1s has much better noise isolation and a better cable.
Prime Audio Reviews Thanks for your answer. I’m also looking at the Etymotic Er 2 or 3 excellent for isolating. What about the sound? Did you try them?
Prime Audio Reviews and what about the sound clarity and instruments separation of the Fiio FH1s compared to TIN T4. Also the sound stage and specialization?
What would you recommend for the equivalent value ( or bit pricier) with the most bass/sub bass?
Hmm from memory I would say Hidizs MS1 Rainbow or iBasso IT00.
@@PrimeAudioReviews
I’ll check them out! Thank you very much!!👍
I just wondered why the T3 has a frequence range from 10 - 40.000Hz and the T4 "just" have 10 - 20.000Hz. Wouldn't the T3 sounds smoother and more brilliant then? im not audiophile, so i don't know it that good tbh. Just asking myself there.
Well the human hearing range is reportedly 20-20. Whether above makes a difference or not is debatable
The human hearing range is 20Hz-20kHz. Anything outside of that is just harmonics but it is possible that it has an effect. Both t3 and T4 are good but I wouldn't be happy if I paid the full msrp on T4 - just personal preference.
What is your IEM recommendation for mixing music? I need flat frequency response, accuracy, good soundstage, and good separation.
What is your price range?
Lypertek MAvi
@@PrimeAudioReviews $100 - $200
@@thatchinaboi check out the TSMR 3-Pro. If you're asking about full size headphones as well that opens up a lot of extra options.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thanks. What options do you recommend for headphones?
Purchased a few days ago. Didn't care for the cable. Swapped for a Linsoul 2.5mm balanced cable( $20). A marked improvement in clarity and separation running balanced. Definitely an improvement over the T2s. I did use my T2s foam ear buds as they are larger than the supplied T4s buds. Highly recommended.
which cable specifically or does it matter? i had no idea you could get different cables but that's really cool
Whats your take on these vs the Tin T2 plus now?? which one would you prefer
T2 Plus hands down. It's easily better, in my opinion. 😀
@@PrimeAudioReviews you saved my money
@@sohammaiti4716 thanks for the feedback, friend.
Oh man... I bought the Moondrop Aria 2021 and, I still think I prefer the T4s. The soundstage is a lot smaller on the Arias and the sub bass doesn't have as much impact. Think I'm actually missing the sparkle too. Hard to know without a lot more listening.
The arias are a lot cleaner sounding though and handle more complex music but they do not beat the T4s when lay in bed listening to music at a low volume.
I was hoping I'd love the Arias and would be a good upgrade
Maybe give it a couple days to allow your ears/brain time to adjust. I would choose Aria over T4 all day (T4 is good tho).
@@PrimeAudioReviews Cheers for the reply. I'll see how it goes. They certainly fit better but I'm not sure I like the recessed 2 pin. Twice now the connections come loose
Have you tried the new trn ba5?
Not yet but I may get some to try.

I just bought these and they're my first pair of IEMs. I'm really disappointed in these because they hardly have any bass/lowend. Seem to be very clear and bright on the highs (not harsh) but all my bass is missing. What gives?
You're probably not getting a good seal/fit. You should try some different eartips.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thanks, I did consider that and I have been shoving them deep inside my ear only to get a little bit more bass. But I'll try the other foam tips instead of the silicone rubber ones perhaps that's what it is. Keep you posted thanks

How is the bass response compared to Shuoer Tape
The Tape has more quantity and slightly better definition. Those who like more bass punch should go for the Tape and those who want a more linear tuning should look at the T4.

Yes, these are a good choice for those types of music.

Anyone know if these sound better then my shure se215 ?
It has been so long since I heard the se215 I couldn't say for sure. One thing I do know is the se215 is far more comfortable in the ears.
TIN is in trouble they really shit the bed on the T4 by leaving the door open for more orders than they could manage. Bad QC has resulted in many earbuds with serious issues reaching customers. Mine started cutting out audio within the first 30 minutes. I'm praying that this wasn't a waste of money as I'm not exactly comfortable with losing $89 on something that I barely got to use for more than a few minutes. Will update when I get a response from the company.
Yes, I've seen multiple people complaining about the MMCX connectors, just like what happened with the T2. Mine are fine but I'm not as enthusiastic about the sound as most people seem to be. It is a good earphone but the shouty upper mids kill it for me.
Hi I am trying to buy an IEM but I'm not decided between these:
* KZ ZS10 Pro
* KZ BA10 - I like the design
* KZ ZSX Terminator
* TIN T3 - I like the design
* TIN T4 - I like the design
Help me decide please.
I'm a base-head and listening mostly to 90s alternative music and rock.
If you're a basshead the ZS10 Pro or ZSX are the ones to go for. There is very little difference between them in sound. Choose the one that looks best to you.
thanks.

much appreciated.
can you use it with an iphone dongle?
Yes it will work fine with a dongle.

It00 all day.
my T4 is extremely bass lean and extremely sharp at mids...

MINUS 10dB from 8k to 12k 🤣🤣
These do look bloody excellent up to 1khz but
Up to you, trust subjective opinions, or the frequency response plot. The first few ppl I heard go on about these made them sound as revolutionary as sliced bread, with no real actual description of a sound signature, using stupid descriptors like, "oh they sound great" "yeah bass is nice and punchy".. Why are the only words these people know "muddy" punchy" ""bright" and "warm" ffs
So does that mean they are good or bad. Cause I'm still lost.

These are too complicated to even make the purchase. I said shut up and take my money. Tin hifi wasn't interested in my money. I was hoping to find a decent iem at this price range.
