BTW Shuoer Tape love to hear your thoughts. This video was smoothe, engaging, informative, and fun.....10 outta 10!!!! Nice job...
Steve..Pls review the BLON 03... I'm sure you've heard about the 30$ lighting in a bottle...The hype is off the charts for that thing...How can you not have heard of it ?????
The T3 recommendation set me on the path of the portable audiophile lifestyle; I ended up going back to the Sony Walkman, chasing that old 90's sound signature on a modern DAP. T3 sound very good on low powered outputs, but the T2, not the pro, with balanced cable sound absolutely phenomenal. I thought I had already arrived somewhere, but with these T4 coming out, Im beginning to think this journey is only getting started.
In this period of lock down I started to look for a reasonable pair of iem's and narrowed it down to one or two, including the tin hifi t4. I was really undecided because of the various reviews on all of them until I saw Steve's video on the T4. That done, I ordered a pair. Buying iem's have to be done semi-blind as here in the UK, you cannot try them first unlike on or over the ear headphones. I was not disappointed. I think they are great. The level of detail is just right and it brought it home to me that headphones have to be matchedd to the right output device. They sound different on each dac, and dap. I never rated the sound quality from the ipods and these phones helped to establish why - muddy bass. We each hear things differently and we have our preferred sound styles. On everything apart from the ipods I found these phones to be excellent. So I relied on the descriptions of how they sound and as I have seen a number of Steve's videos on audio equipment, I had a feeling he gives good descriptions and perhaps we have similar tastes on what sound we like. So, whether it was good judgement or luck, I am sold on Steve's views as I feel he got me to the right iem's for the money. Thanks Steve.
The Tin T4 is a perfect sounding IEM. It offers brilliant performance, powerful lower end, impeccable vocals, and well extended highs. Really worth the money!!
Thanks as always Steve, another insightful video which has lead to the wallet coming out! For me, the best in the business, keep up the work. Look forward to receiving them 👍🏻
I feel like everything is not said here, what is your relationship to the manufacturer? What about this indiegogo project launched at the same time as the video? More transparence would be greatly appreciated here :)
Yes, it’s hard to know quite what to make of this rave review when the video is featured so prominently on that Indiegogo page, as if it’s an integral part of their marketing strategy. I appreciate your pointing that out.
Just got mine today, holy shit how do they do this for that price. Great detail, airy and very solid bass. Prefer them over my previous Comet's substantially. What a steal.
I love your reviews. My only constructive critique is I wish you'd show the box and what comes with the product. Thank you for the effort you put into each review. It's much appreciated.
I mean, if you want to know what comes with it or the box it comes in a google search would be faster than listening through a video. I get the whole unboxing and accessory interest, but id rather reviewers not waste my time with a box that im going to hold possibly 3 times.
@@blzt3206 I'm not saying you're wrong for your interests, I'm saying it would better serve your interest in the box and accessories to just google it. Dont take it personally

Appreciate the review. Great to see low cost ear buds sounding so good without the need for a DAC. How long do you think it’ll be before we can get real quality sound from Bluetooth ear buds? Actually, how do these compare to the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless buds?
They are the real deal. Sound amazing and build quality is awesome. Do a UA-cam search and find more reviews; they are all consistent. Some of them include the sound graphs and show a fantastic curve.
What a sales man ... watched it twice ... lovin it :). Is there any DAC out there that would make sense (serious sound quality improvement) to use in combination with an 11 Pro iPhone?
I Agree. Music is fun and should be fun to listen to. I am also in the high end audio sales business and over 40 years, listening to the finest hifi gear, in my opinion, music should be fun to listen too above all. @@fncisco9380 HI, Iiked them very much until the right earpiece droped by about 12 db. I don't think there is any sincere support from the company as I had a defective cable from day one. The left ear kept on cutting out, a know issue. I reported it as a warranty issue and was assured that a new cable was on the way, I've never received it. I bought my own cable from another suorce. Now with 12db drop in volume on the right side I have abandoned them. I am using using a $12.00pr. of Panasonics from Winners. They are almost as good. I have been selling the best hifi electronics on the world for the 35 years and when I say the Panasonics are good you can take it to the bank. I will not be buying Tin HiFi again. I hope this helps you out.
I think it's worth me adding my 2c. I bought the T4s on advice from reviewers such as yourself, and let me just say, I now look at my gaming headphones with disgust. While the drop in bass was jarring at first, the clarity and detail i get everywhere else is insane. There are quality control issues with the T4's: be prepared to send back your headphones if the mmcx connector doesn't fit right. It's a common problem, causes the sound to cut in and out and distort and requires a replacement of the headphone. The staff at Tinhifi are super helpful and seek to impress, but it was inconvenient going over 3 weeks without them.
Ordered with the express shipping and upgraded cable lol. This is my second attempt at Tin HiFi after ordering the T2s based on Zeos review. I didn't rate them and returned them the next day. However I have been looking to replace a 10+ year old pair of Denon IEMs that were about 50 bucks and I still love them. Hopefully these will live up to the hype 🤞
@Daniel Hey mate, yes! Glad you asked 🙂 I use them every single day at my desk and absolutely love them. I also use the Boom 3D App to boost the sound and give me EQ control and I have them ramped up to the point of replicating that warehouse nightclub sound. Huge bass, super fun and always engaging. I would recommend and repurchase again in a heartbeat 🌟👍
Just got mine 3 days ago. Detail from the music that I had not previously heard. I am still burning mine in with random music. These DEFINITELY need to be burned in. Great purchase
How do these stack up against the $260 Fiios 5’s? I understand the price jump the 5’s should be a step up but enough to justify the extra $140? The wife wants buds for Xmas & my decision is hinging on your recommendation. LOVE your videos BTW
Zeos got me to buy the Linsoul ZS10Pros, they are also phenomenal for budget IEMs, and I'm not a big IEM fan at all. So punchy, so fun, and the bass is unreal. Only thing with the ZS10s and probably these, is, you have to watch the volume since they are super high-efficiency and get loud super fast. I'm also hearing good things about the Linsoul Tape electrostatics, but I'm full-up now with an array of headphones I love, so no need. Or so he claims......I also need to track down that Jeff Beck box set that came out years ago....missing it.
I got 2 differwnt friends at work looking for small headphones like this, I only review stereo 2ch audio , I dont know much about headphones i had a pair of Koss back in the day late 80s from walmart they was 40 bucks back then and they rocked out !!
Late to the Tin Hifi party. I was going to order the 2’s, then saw the review for the 3’s…. Then this! Ordered! I’ve been pretty underwhelmed by recent in ear purchases. The Grado’s were just horribly thin. Looking forward to these.
They arrived. The grey memory foam cushions(?) work best for my ear shape. Listening to them on a variety of walkmans (DC2, DD-100, DD9 & WMD-6C) and they are amazing. I’m now sat here wondering if there is a catch. Will they last the week? But the build quality is top notch. So hoping my “too good to be true” fears are unfounded. I guess Chi-Fi plans to saturate the market with better quality / lower price point assets. All in all, these buds are excellent. I’d have happily paid 3 to 4 times the asking price.
Honestly the company behind the Tin Hifis is pretty crap when it comes to customer service. I've spent so much time writing emails and trying to find ways to contact them because the warranty was still valid. The adhesive wore off making the red one fall apart completely. Now it's been over a year so I can't get a replacement if I wanted to, all because they don't reply to any emails I sent them. Really?
I trust your opinion. What would you suggest is the best phone amp out of the Red or Cobalt audioquest for these? Or none? Do you still have them to test with? Should be getting the iems on the next couple of batches. Cannot wait. The red is cheaper of course but I've heard the dacs have a completely different sound signature
No one, buy dac ibasso dc01 , cost $50 and has the same performance as fiio m11(they use the same dac chip) , i have both. Dragonfly is expensive af for no reasons there a lot of better alternatives
@@BestAnimeFights32 DAMN I didn't even know about the ibasso. The 02 seems better with the 3.5mm output rather than 2.5mm. Already gone and bought the red. Will they be that much different?
Hi congrats for your reviews. Awesome job. I’m drummer and love to play my acoustic drums over the music that I have on my ears (iPhone7+Deezer Hifi) no drums return on my headset. A very important point for me is the true instruments representation. I want natural instruments full sounds. I listen rock punk metal hardcore... (I’m a ‘’TOOL’’ band fan if you know). Which IEM are your advice? I look at the TIN T4 but also Fiio FH1S /Cca C16 / and Etymotic ER3Se or ER3XR? Do you have any advice for my use? Thanks in advance. I’m also thinking about buying a Dragonfly Red or FiiO i1 do you think it’s a must have for my IPhone and IEM? Take care (from France). And congrats one more time. I will look lots of your videos in confinement...
I got the T4... they’re definitely good! If you prefer a warmer sound you might not love the sound signature of these. You’ll be fine with some eq though. The treble is also less harsh once they burned in.
Hi Steve, Just received the p3 and yah Love the Quality and the Sound of these little guys... I thought the pamphlet or directions were a little vague but anyway one is Red and one is Blue does it matter which ear they go in... I know dumb Question.
Since the P1 seems to have the colored rings on the cable connectors, I presume you mean T3? There's not really any single right or wrong way. (and if previous Tin models are any indication, there's probably going to be units with the red and blue rings on either earpieces) The cable connectors should have R and L indicators. Then just connect the earpieces which way around they fit the best for you and your wear style of choice.
Just backed this myself, from the UK. A bargain it seems at £69. Usually don't get on with in ears but only ever had cheap ones They have my M-100s to compete against but I have a feeling with the right tips, these will thrash the sound performance of those. I hope so anyway
No, the T4 doesn't have much bass. Better get their P1, it is wayyy bassier. Only downside is that you need a good amplifier to bring out its full potential.
KZ ZSX or BLON BL-03 should fit your needs better. Grab a cable change for both too (they use the same 0.78mm 2 pin), a silver plated OFC gives it a tighter, more powerful bass for both of them.
I've been hunting new earbuds forever, this is a great way to get a good quality pair (I'm trusting you Steve) at a great price. Most others I liked were $150 - $400, just far too much
Got them today. Haven't tried all the tips. The ones with the red insides seem to be better in my ears. Bass extension is certainly there but there is also a lot of treble hump. Not sure if too much yet But they seem to reveal more than even my M100 Vmodas.... at least on first impressions But the bass is plenty for me. I'll say that
@@Harry-jz1dn The brightness in the 's''s have gone. I put on my M100s recently and the bass feels too much now... They are the best music ear things I have ever owned. I've paired them with the Dragonfly Red and at the moment running direct through Tidal Hifi. May have to correct my width statement. They feel wider than my M100s did but they probably aren't as wide as some others. The sound occasionally sounds like it is going past them sound stage wise but you can still pinpoint most of the time that the sound stops at the ear phone
I received these headphones many weeks after I cancelled and got my refund from Indiegogo. It was late 2019 pre-COVID so shouldn’t have been delayed so long. Anyway, glad I didn’t pay for them. The mids and treble are on another level - they are audiophile quality. I also haven’t had any issues with the cables many have complained about. So why am I glad I basically got them for free and didn’t pay? There is no bass. I’m not a bass head. I hate bass-y or boomy headphones / speakers. But these are like listening to an audiophile pair of bookshelf speaker with 4” woofers and no subwoofer. There’s barely anything below 80-100 Hz. It’s a shame because their mids and highs are sooo good, so detailed and non-fatiguing with a great soundstage. I don’t use these anymore and looking to sell them. The Lypertek Tevi doesn’t quite match the mids and highs of this but comes close and has good bass.
Hi Steve. I own a recording studio and I'm looking to get about 4 sets of in-ear headphones for musician monitoring. Do you think these would be able to handle the volume that some musicians especially drummers want, or do I have to spend $300 for a pair? Thanks.
The Indiegogo prices are just that- Indiegogo prices, with different tiers having different discounts & time limits. The actual price of Tin T4 is $109. Steve made a fuckup of talking about the price.
Wait... headphone better than porta pro ?! I never tried these buds/iem headphones. Always had on and over ears. As I've said - Koss Porta Pro is my fav despite trying quite a few other more expesnsive headphones. I do not like dry, sibilant sound. I like fun, relaxing sound. Would this be fine to try this type of headphone ?
Is it possible to get custom (made by a physician) earpieces that could be used with a variety of earphones? My idea is that earphones like these T4s could just be plugged into a custom-molded earpiece in exactly the same way they are attached to the standard "gels." I like the sound of decent earphones, and especially the isolation, but my ear canals are really small and sensitive so I’m usually uncomfortable in them. But I don't see any manufacturer who advertises that their equipment has a standard connection to the part that is supposed to fit into your ear, so that you can have your own custom made.
Have you tried 1more earphones triple driver and quad driver earphones? Ive been wanting to purchase a good pair of earphones for under 100 or even up to 150 price range. But a bit indecisive
"Neutral, Ultra transparent headphone".... Oh... you mean the Tin T2? You may want to pick that up if you seek a neutral sound, as the T2 pro and T3 are very sibilant. The T2 may just not be as transparent as the etymotic. Thanks for the vid. I just sub'd to you!

You dont just describe the objective things, which alot of people like but are sometimes confusing to noobs, you also describe things in such a way where i can tell exactly what you mean even though youre using subjective terms. its extremely helpful for someone who thinks like i do. thank you
Steve...sooooooo glad u r doing an earphone/IEM! Chi-FI Audio companies have really raised the bar on great sound, value, low prices....audiophiles like me, gravitate to their DAPs, amps, DACs, IEMs, cables....heck even their foam ear tips at 3 pairs for $2....vs my go to foam eartips from Comply...leave u wondering why am i paying more for the same thing without the big brand? Absolutely ecstatic how u blend in your fav music, u used to audition the T4. Wish u would do a video on Chinese Singles Day on 11/11 sales, good value items from Aliexpress. I finally participated in 11/11, got a UPOCC single crystal copper balanced MMCX 4.4mm cable, and a Shuoer Tape electrostatic/elecret IEM....BOTH for some nice savings, where normally i would NOT pay full price.
BGGA charts shows BLON 03 and Tin T4 have similar tuning.
@@tangtangtang1372 which makes it the bargain of the decade
I have them and they are so uncomfortable but sound pretty good
I've just bought a pair to upgrade from my T2pro. Thanks for the review Steve!
I just bought the t2 pro 2 months ago after watching your vid but now u pullin up with these man.
The Tin T4 is a perfect sounding IEM. It offers brilliant performance, powerful lower end, impeccable vocals, and well extended highs. Really worth the money!!
Exciting times to enjoy music, with affordable prices you can have different styles.
Picked one up on ebay today, after thinking about your review. $89 less 8% ebucks. Thanks for the review!!! Won't get it till Jan 14th.
The indiegogo page is filled with vague information, I agree Steve could give more background on it
KnightInBlackSatin he got them sent out ofc
If you owned previous model's from the vendor? You'd jump on them.
Yes, it’s hard to know quite what to make of this rave review when the video is featured so prominently on that Indiegogo page, as if it’s an integral part of their marketing strategy. I appreciate your pointing that out.
@Joe Home two sides of the same coin constantly flipping heads they win tails we lose.
No.
You were definitely doing an advertisement for Tin HiFi on this video.
Thanks for the review Steve. How does this compare either 1More Triple Driver and Quad Driver IEMs?
Just ordered a pair after your recommendation. 🤞🏻
Blzt a lot of them on UA-cam
@@showmak not with the knowledge this guy has. Would be nice to see if there are any extras
I mean, if you want to know what comes with it or the box it comes in a google search would be faster than listening through a video. I get the whole unboxing and accessory interest, but id rather reviewers not waste my time with a box that im going to hold possibly 3 times.

I really appreciate and align with some of the comments Rich made a few days ago, so this: 7:06 is as important to me as anything else in the review. Thanks
I'm watching these wearing t4s I got as a christmas present after spending the past few weeks borrowing a pair of audio technical ath m50s and I'll say out of all the iems I've owned (which is only a few) I've found these to be the best by a long shot.
Another helpful vid! It would be great to see a list somewhere of your current recommendations. It is hard to keep up with the vids!! :)
Appreciate the review. Great to see low cost ear buds sounding so good without the need for a DAC.
How long do you think it’ll be before we can get real quality sound from Bluetooth ear buds? Actually, how do these compare to the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless buds?
Best Tin HiFi product so far, even though the glorious T2 still rock for me.
I bought the T3s and wow are they great. Will order these and put T3s in backpack
They are the real deal. Sound amazing and build quality is awesome. Do a UA-cam search and find more reviews; they are all consistent. Some of them include the sound graphs and show a fantastic curve.
seems its realy close to the blon 03
Hyro Proto yes, with significantly better build quality.
What a sales man ... watched it twice ... lovin it :). Is there any DAC out there that would make sense (serious sound quality improvement) to use in combination with an 11 Pro iPhone?
What has DAC to do with headphones? DAC is a chip on your media player.
Your fervour belies your age. You are young at heart also. Thanks Steve!
I Agree. Music is fun and should be fun to listen to. I am also in the high end audio sales business and over 40 years, listening to the finest hifi gear, in my opinion, music should be fun to listen too above all. I also play and music is always fun to play with. I love your stories about your clients. They mirror mine and I have many, uncannily, similiar stories. The human condition. I just bought these earbuds because of this video. Thanks for these! Ciao for now.
Did you like them? What is your opinion?
Just bought a pair of T4's on Linsoul. Will be waiting patiently for delivery.
@DestiStation I bought them directly from linsoul's website.
Thanks Steve. With your praise they are now $109
Just got mine 3 days ago.
FiiO is a lot better.
Zeos got me to buy the Linsoul ZS10Pros, they are also phenomenal for budget IEMs, and I'm not a big IEM fan at all. So punchy, so fun, and the bass is unreal. Only thing with the ZS10s
and probably these, is, you have to watch the volume since they are super high-efficiency and get loud super fast. I'm also hearing good things about the Linsoul Tape electrostatics,
but I'm full-up now with an array of headphones I love, so no need. Or so he claims......I also need to track down that Jeff Beck box set that came out years ago....missing it.
You can never say "probably" when you haven't actually heard them as you're only speculating.
@@Harry-jz1dn You're right, I haven't heard these yet. The ZS10 Pros at least, get loud very easily, have to watch that.
I gave it a try this time. Thought it'd be a nice opportunity to get into my first pair of Tins, especially as long as it's still selling for 72€
Please Review the BLON BL-03.
I couldn’t find them for $79 but your video pushed me over the line.
Listening to any live recording of Bobby McFerrin is fantastic in these.
those silver plated connectors are dope. they definitely get a great tonality when I pair them with cheap AKG's or Supralux headphones.
I got 2 differwnt friends at work looking for small headphones like this, I only review stereo 2ch audio , I dont know much about headphones i had a pair of Koss back in the day late 80s from walmart they was 40 bucks back then and they rocked out !!
Ordered...thanks! Now to discover where its signature falls on a spectrum between Klipsch RP600M & Magnepan LRS!
Just ordered a set for $35! (Unused Linsoul gift cards and the 11.11 sale!)
How do these compare to say the KZ AS10 or ZS10 Pro? Was about to order the Pros and then saw this popup in my feed.

When y’all get your T4’s tell me if they’re legit, I’m looking for a nice warm cinematic bass filled experience so I hope these are legit.

'let them talk' and 'did it rain' are both good Hue Laurie blues albums.
Thanks Steve!! Jumped on them. Tin Audio? I have all the others. Need, want and desire all they design and bring to market.
If you are curious, the Faael Hibiscus has the same driver and tuning for cheaper. You should try it to compare to the T4.
Hi Steve,
Just received the p3 and yah Love the Quality and the Sound of these little guys...
Appreciate it thanks..
Fun is a term popping up on several hi fi review sites these days. Almost makes me want to buy Zu Cubes or JBL L100s.
Hey Steve, have you heard the new Shuoer tape? Apparently those are ridiculous for the price (130$). Would love to see how the compare with the t4.
I've actually bought them for less than 75 dollars on Aliexpress using discount coupons. Patiently waiting for arrival though.
Just backed this myself, from the UK. A bargain it seems at £69.
Usually don't get on with in ears but only ever had cheap ones
They have my M-100s to compete against but I have a feeling with the right tips, these will thrash the sound performance of those. I hope so anyway
Would you recommend the T4 to someone who listens to a lot of techno and is looking for good bass?
What is the best Tin HiFi headset for this purpose?
I am also interested in an answer to this question.
Mee too :)
Max Wendel I recommend KZ ZSX for you.
Most others I liked were $150 - $400, just far too much
I really appreciate your opinion. Is there a chance to get the *Shuoer Tape* Headset review?
Do you like them better than FH5? Can you please compare them? Thanks a lot! 👍
Got them today. Haven't tried all the tips. The ones with the red insides seem to be better in my ears. Bass extension is certainly there but there is also a lot of treble hump. Not sure if too much yet
But they seem to reveal more than even my M100 Vmodas.... at least on first impressions
But the bass is plenty for me. I'll say that
More listening proves how I've been missing out on width. Wow
@@iKaGe01 Are they still bright though?
@@Harry-jz1dn The brightness in the 's''s have gone.
I put on my M100s recently and the bass feels too much now...
They are the best music ear things I have ever owned. I've paired them with the Dragonfly Red and at the moment running direct through Tidal Hifi.
May have to correct my width statement. They feel wider than my M100s did but they probably aren't as wide as some others. The sound occasionally sounds like it is going past them sound stage wise but you can still pinpoint most of the time that the sound stops at the ear phone
@@iKaGe01 thanks for the detailed response
How do they compare with the 1More Triple Driver IEMs?
I would really love if you reviewed the Kz expensive line up to see a true audiophile review on it against other brands
Hey, are you wear batik from Indonesia? It look so similar with my own shirt. 😅
Hi Steve. I own a recording studio and I'm looking to get about 4 sets of in-ear headphones for musician monitoring. Do you think these would be able to handle the volume that some musicians especially drummers want, or do I have to spend $300 for a pair? Thanks.
4 days later, it's already more expensive, and surely will be more expensive soon.

That Madeline album is one of my favorites
Have you tried 1more earphones triple driver and quad driver earphones? Ive been wanting to purchase a good pair of earphones for under 100 or even up to 150 price range. But a bit indecisive
"Neutral, Ultra transparent headphone".... Oh... you mean the Tin T2? You may want to pick that up if you seek a neutral sound, as the T2 pro and T3 are very sibilant. The T2 may just not be as transparent as the etymotic. Thanks for the vid. I just sub'd to you!
I'm looking for a USB C to 3.5mm jack use with my Tin HiFi t4 on my phone. Any recommendations?
