  • Tin Hifi made its reputation with the T2 at $50. Now they're going up market with the T4 at just over $100. Has the quality scaled with the price? Let's find out.
    See it on Amazon: amzn.to/2FesvVR
    $10 cheaper on Ali: s.click.aliexpr...
    Even cheaper on Drop: drop.com/buy/t...
FYI: I may get commissions for purchases made through links in this post.

I honestly thought i was going crazy. i had T2s and got them damaged so I decided to get the T4s since most reviews were positive and was disappointed. I am now in the process of refunding them and reordering the T2s. i listen to mostly rock and metal too and T4s definitely do not have the same clarity as T2s, at least in my opinion. Thank you for the video!

I use silicone tips and I've had to throw my Vmoda m100s into a pile as I cannot listen to music with them anymore. They're that good to me.
So good I'm now looking to improve which is dangerous as looking at prices of TOTL iems...

Lone Star the Tapes are way more expensive. I would hope $140 IEMs sound better than $25 IEMs. A major issue with the Tapes is quality control I have heard a lot of people having issues with the MMCX connectors shorting out. I personally know 3 people who have sent them back. I would only recommend them if they do a revision and go to 2 pin connectors instead of MMCX. Also you can EQ the Blons to sound absolutely amazing I have mine EQ’d like Ikko OH-10s and they sound amazing with that tuning.

Owned this for 5 months right now. Yep, you review matches my thoughts on this.
For me, it's not worth the money, but that tonality but for me timbre is what makes it worth it.
It actually reminds me of a mini version of hd 600, since they suffer in seperation and imaging on very complex tracks ( metal, etc,.). But it is so far away from hd 600, but just saying. I think they are the same, just divide the hd 600 by 4 or 5, and you get tin t4.

    nice to know.
i think your issue with fit is to do with you using standard silicone tips, i used them kz zs10 pros, tin p1's, t3's (and akgs and other cheapest brand earphones) and always found that they pop out too easy, i did research into them and found that foam tips and triple layer silicone tips provide a much better hold.
you can get triple layer silicone on ebay for 5 euro for 3 pairs, but initially feel invasive and uncomfortable until you get used to them, foam tips cost 20 euro for 3 pairs, but generally wear out pretty fast.
however both are better then standard silicone tips in terms of security and isolation

    • @SuperReview
      @SuperReview  4 роки тому +1

The fit is really not a big problem for me, they're just not as secure-fitting as some others. Swapping to foams will have some impact on the sound -- and I like them as-is.

As far as the sound goes....yea, it's kinda delicate, but with some foam tips. a bit of EQing though my ES100 and a quiet place to listen they can deliver a really clean, deep , airy sound that makes BLONs sound kinda narrow and congested in comparison.

suko hassan do not even question it buy it. It is absolutely amazing for $25 on AliExpress. Honestly it destroys a lot of things up to the sub $100 and a lot of people have said they’re still even better than the T4s. I have Fiio F9 Pros and TRN V90s and the Blons wipe the floor with both they’re not more detailed than the F9s or V90s but they make up for it with soundstage and a very dynamic musical sound while still maintaining some incredible detail. You’re not wasting your money buying them I absolutely promise that. But they do need eartips and a new cable I recommend a Yinyoo 16 Core Silver plated Cable with Spinfit CP145 eartips. With the extras the Blons will cost around $45 but they are absolutely worth that they’re worth even up to $150 maybe even higher in my opinion.

I chose them because I've read they have a more flat signature and are quite accurate. I also have the BVGP DMG as a more dark sounding IEM. It's nice to be able to choose between them. I would personally probably pick T4, but it's pricier. The sub-bass on T4 is pretty nice, despite not being especially forward, and the upper mids / treble are about right for my tastes. Been a while since I listened to them, but T3 is quite nice with vocals.

Sounds very different from the BL-03. The Blon is a warmer, thicker sound, more bass, less clarity in the upper midrange & treble. T4 is lean in comparison, a bit bright. If you want bass, get Blon. If you want vocals, T4. Both are pretty good.
