Jens Williamson, III Yes, I tested it about deer corn with apple vs. deer corn with orange on my own land in Texas..The winner was deer corn with apple (all gone) but the deer corn with orange left half. You get it. Thanks for your time. Have a great day! Respectfully, Jens Williamson, III (Deaf) 😎😷👍🇺🇲 Bexar County 🇨🇱 My way: My small deer feeder just throw some deer corn with apple by 3 seconds every mornings. I use hand feed on the ground every afternoons. I really like it because of good balance. Plus 15 gal. of the water bowl near deer feeder. Smart! Oat patch like good idea!! Deer, Turkey and Rabbit love to eat the oat patch, anyway. If good rain. 👍
Such a wholesome dude. Thanks man for continually putting out videos. I watch every one of em. What about peanut butter rice bran vs persimmon rice bran? I use persimmon but have been curious about peanut butter. Just a thought bud. Gob Bless you and yours man.
I have 3 gravity self feeders that hold 300 lbs each. I’ve tried apple & regular corn in my feeders. The deer will clear a 300 pound feeder in week regardless of which corn. However I like the smell of apple corn, & I’ve always assumed deer liked it too.
Do you happen to have a place or purchase in bulk reasonably ? I’m just about to start feeding , and if they’re gonna eat that much - I’m gonna have to take a second job 😂 12 bucks a bag for 40lbs here . 360 a month just isn’t feasible for me
i don’t think the side by side comparison shows much tbh. but i’ve had this apple corn out for almost a month and have put other corn and blocks out. they haven’t touched the apple corn once, not even the crows, coons, or squirrels have touched it but they’ve devoured everything else
Deer in Florida don't give two s#$ts about apples or apple corn. They'll eat the apple corn not because it has apple flavor but because it is corn. On multiple occasions I have placed apples in the woods and the deer completely ignored them.
I've had deer ignore apples in some spots in North Carolina, but if I put them out anywhere near an apple orchard, they HAMMER them. I think a lot of deer don't realize what they are unless they grow up around em lol
Worthless non-scientific study, of course they eat the closest corn to them so with the apple in the middle and most dangerous to feed on. Should have put it in 2 piles near each other to actually test this theory!
I did the same test with my Colombian Blacktail in Washington state and they absolutely loved the apple flavored
God bless you. It is great to see a good Christian man who is also a hunter and outdoors man.
Thanks for the shout out. Was interested in the outcome.

I have good luck with apple corn and I like the smaller bag for hiking it in with my back pack.

People are fools for buying the walmart corn...Why spend more money for it when you can get it at Co-op for 3 dollars less?
Put apples vs corn, bet those apples disappear
Idk what state you are in but in Texas we have that stupid 13 inch rule on bucks
Its not stupid. We only shoot bucks that are worth shooting. If you just want meat then shoot a doe
Best rule ever put in place.
