Oh yeah that payload number on the sticker is also based off the tires that shipped with your truck. My truck came with crappy pirelli scorpion tires which have since been replaced with e rated Nittos.
Hi Paul! So the camper extends about 20” from the rear edge of my 6’ 10” bed so about 14” past the bumper itself. Towing a trailer would be no problem with this set up. I leave the tailgate on as it doesn’t support any camper weight and it extends about 5” from the back of the camper. This provides a nice foothold when entering or exiting the camper in combination with the small step ladder I’m currently using. Still considering other step options but the step ladder seems to be working well for now. Hope this helps and thank you for reaching out!
My f150 says should not exceed 1631lbs haha. I do have extra leaf springs and airbags though which does increase my max limit. I believe I get an extra 800lbs with that. So with the 750 on the back I'm right at my limit. Still hauls well enough though.
Adding accessories does not increase your limit. Unfortunately you are held to what the manufacture had originally set when the vehicle was built. If you don’t like it buy a bigger truck
@@charlesconyer6034an extra set of leaf springs does increase towing and hauling capacity. As well as swapping out for E rated tires. Stock tires on an F150 are never an E rated tire and that is taken into consideration when eating the payload.
@@Elflopadoor you cannot change what the vehicle is rated for. You physically cannot change the rating of the truck. Just because you modify the shit out of your truck doesn’t mean the DOT or government recognizes anything you have done and unfortunately unless Mr DOT officer acknowledges your supposed improvements then they don’t account for diddly squat.
Actually, to be more clear. It is the maximum weight the vehicle can weight when fully loaded. Vehicle weight plus cargo.
Very informative thank you
Great informative video. Thank you so much
Thanks for watching!

Haha yeah they usually put the cheapo tires on at the factory!!
Good stuff......
Hello! How many inches does the camper stick out passed the truck bumper?

Thanks for the information. That helps out alot. :)
GVWR = Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. It is not a “range”, it is the maximum weight that the vehicle is Rated to haul.

Get to your point, stop going over the same thing constantly.
Noted. Thank you.
