@@HopeItWorks4Me no, the dry cut saw turns at 1300rpm...an abrasive chop saw is usually 3000-4000rpm. You'd destroy the blade (and yourself maybe lol) if you did just put this blade in a normal saw.
Really well on 2" square tube. I'll do a review on Tool Test Tuesday sometime and will make sure I include some video of it cutting square tube. I have some 2" x 0.125 wall square tube kicking around.
@@johnfurr8779 yeah, absolutely no grit or dust in the air, it's way nicer than any abrasive saw in that sense. Just the chips go everywhere, but that's easier to clean up.
Yeah, the blades are super expensive...though there are non-Dewalt brand ones that are less (e.g. evolution). If you don't abuse the blade though, they last a really long time.
Anything else you'd like to know about this dry cut saw?
Can I just swap the abrasive blade for this blade on my existing saw?

How does that perform on 2" square steel tubing or larger

@@SomeGuysGarage great thanks. I am tired of our cut-off saws grit being everywhere and wanted to look into a saw with carbide blade

Yup badass ordering mine tonight six hundred bucks but well worth it no more headaches
Not cheap but yes, definitely well worth it! I have a second video comparing it to an abrasive saw, it's just so much faster/cleaner/cooler.
Only problem blade , it is too expensive 180 euros.

destroyer of wallets as well.
Yeah, this one isn't cheap...but if you're doing any metal cutting regularly, it pays for itself in speed and how clean the cuts are.
