To be fair he does not know how to keep the customer safe as hes still in the car! The first thing you should do is get the customer out of the car. As far as the operator, I had the brakes fail on my Jeep coming up to a light that as aboutnto turn red back in January and my initial response was shock and trying them again while sailingnthrough the freshly red light before grabbing the shifter to pull it from Drive, into 3rd, then down to the 1-2 detent before grabbing the handbrake (it was also in Full Time 4wd, so that applied what braking force I had to the front axle too) and using that to slow the truck. Managed to drive it home like that too!

Malfunction makes sense since you'll never have to lift the boom that high to tow a car. However, malfunction or not, this is a good reason not to begin towing a car with somebody inside. Just good safety and common sense practice.

The Tow truck operator should not have hooked the car up without first approaching the car to see if it had been cleared of occupants. He was hurrying up to do his job and failed to do important safety checks. Dude is a liability and a danger to everyone.

To be fair he does not know how to keep the customer safe as hes still in the car! The first thing you should do is get the customer out of the car. Maybe you need to reconsider commenting stuff that you dont know about. The emergency stop might not be in his control box it might be in one of the lockers.

Basically cuts the power to the hydraulics, it's a safety feature that I'm sure is mandatory no matter what country you're from.

As far as the operator, I had the brakes fail on my Jeep coming up to a light that as aboutnto turn red back in January and my initial response was shock and trying them again while sailingnthrough the freshly red light before grabbing the shifter to pull it from Drive, into 3rd, then down to the 1-2 detent before grabbing the handbrake (it was also in Full Time 4wd, so that applied what braking force I had to the front axle too) and using that to slow the truck. Managed to drive it home like that too!
