It’s amazing the people that have a dash cam and willingly release footage of their bad driving and/or road rage. Just bc you have the cam doesn’t mean you’re not the rager or bad driver

When I was a kid we had a 65 model car. And one night the horn started blowing and wouldn't stop. Nobody caused it. It was crazy.
A lot of American drivers have a serious misconception with what “cutting off” and “normal merging flows of traffic” are.

No idea which part you're referring to since you didn't put a timestamp but I know that in the UK, the traffic on the main carriageway has priority. Often a driver will move over or hold back for you, but it's up to you to go at the correct speed and find a gap. That's also why the rule about giving enough space between you and the car in front is so important
I think you do. Also the cameras are a wide lens making it seem there is more room than there is. If you think grazing the paint off someone’s vehicle is normal then you’re the asshole driver everyone hates.

Angeles Crest is used heavily by motorcyclists. Lost my best friend on that highway years ago because of something like this. My ex was hit and in the hospital for months, 2 other friends were pushed over a cliff in their car. My brother's car ended up suspended in the air between two trees because someone passed on a curve. These incidents were decades ago and drivers are worse now. I grew up on that road but wouldn't go near it now...so many ghosts past and future.
A lot of these drivers don't know the difference of allowing someone to merge and getting cutoff.

It's very obvious that some of these people who are claiming to be victims are creating situations with their passive aggressive blocking of merging drivers. The number of people who refuse to let other motorists merge into moving traffic, and somehow think they're in the right by "refusing to let them cut me off", is both astounding and sad.
Especially the one the driver is chasing someone in wrong and he says “let me get in my own lane before that car hits me” 😂 obviously trying to make a vid.

When it said "Karens" and "bad drivers", I didn't realize that so many of them would actually be the people who were recording the incidents.
They think it's their get out of jail free card . "I have it on cam so it's not my fault. I wonder how many of these people would delete the footage if they realize it's their fault for an accident. Deleting video involved in a crash can lead to destroying evidence charges . I'm sure they don't know that.

Yep. Cammer is a flaming moron. I had a semi of all things do this to me once. I was merging onto a highway with STOPPED traffic and put my signal on ahead of a semi, and when it started moving again, the dude literally swerved over and blocked me. We had a road rage incident here in the bay that I remember from years ago. Dude got road rage and got out and shot and killed the driver and shot and killed his like 8 year old son. Ruined three lives over something as simple as a transportation mistake. It's always stuck with me because he killed some innocent kid, not saying the dad was guilty or anything, I just can't understand being so out of control that you murder an 8 year old because his dad made you mad.

one time I was driving with my dad on the interstate, I checked my blind spot and everything before changing lanes, I had plenty of time, but the guy in that lane said no and decided to speed up and almost rear ended me and honking at me acting like its illegal to change lanes when I was far up ahead of him.

7:00 was completely the fault of the guy not letting him in. It's a merge, the idea is that the person trying to merge in isn't stopping, and the guy already in the lane even sped up to not let him in.
The merging person actually has to yield to traffic which means slow down and stop if needed but still a dick move by the guy recording

@@brendanmedlin99 so, I went back and watched the video - this wasn’t an On-Ramp….this was someone getting onto the highway - possibly from a construction area. In that situation, you don’t get to try to just get onto the highway in the first small gap you see, you wait. I’ve been on the highway for 16 years now as a “professional” driver - aka a truck driver (I hate saying that because it sounds like saying call me dr… but it is what I do, and why the law is generally not on my side in most accident situations), and I can tell you merges like this cause a lot of accidents. It’s a lot worse when dump trucks and semis do it, but that also happens as well.
I still stand by what I said about zipper merging being preferable, but this wasn’t an on ramp with the rules that typically go with that. Is it a dick move to speed up when someone is in the emergency lane trying to get on? Yes. Do you have to let them get on the highway into right of way from nearly a dead stop into flowing traffic? No.

The person merging into traffic has the responsibility to find their own way in. Drivers on the highway have zero responsibility to slow down, move over, or speed up to accommodate them. If there’s no space, they may have to stop. They don’t have any right of way.

100% the trucks fault. That's a working truck on the side of the road that decided he can cut in whenever he wants. They didn't "speed up", the whole line was accelerating from being stopped. The trucker just got butt hurt that he wasn't treated with royalty and kept trying to take that spot
