Hallo Bernth, can you play something older, please? You are a great Player but seems to me that you have no respect for old guitarists (Steve Vai, Satriani) Is this true? Greetings from Cologne, Germany
I am really proud of you, you have used your amazing talent mixed with modern tech to create an amazing platform. I have been checking you out for awhile. I am a guitar teacher in Los Angeles and love your work. I will continue to steal all your good ideas and teach them to my students, LOL. Just kidding, I have been happy that a lot of the things I already were doing is the same as some of yours but I have a long way to go. Thanks again for the inspiration and keep up the great work!!!
Your skill level is absolutely amazing dude. I just get blown away every time I watch your fingers work that fretboard. Truly amazing. I hope for a very very bright future for you in the music industry!!
I'm often a hater in music because there are way too many no-talent hacks, but I absolutely love seeing real musicians like you succeed. Very happy for you, Bernth. You deserve all this and more. Cheers man.
@@zielony600 I´m with you with this one. I love the dirty and messy part of it. Sometimes the show is too clean, that it doesn't matter if you see it on stage or you hear it over the radio. The sound check is were you can feel and hear the real shit.
@@ragnar.p And mostly during sound checks we can see them- musicians in natural poses, not "theatrical", if any problems are appearing they react different way, more like humans :D
That riff is actually used by Tom Scholz for the main guitar melody of Boston's "Peace Of Mind." I hadn't noticed how frequently it's been used until this video. Thanks for the info!
Who needs yodelling? I'm looking forward to the Römerquelle bottle lobbing games becoming the new Austrian tradition as a result of this video. Great fun as always Bernth!
I don’t know who you are, whT band you’re in. Your video came up in my feed. But…that was such a great music nerd joke!! I totally would’ve gotten in if I was in the audience! This video was so awesome! Thank you for letting us into your tour life and for keeping the fun in music you’re playing!
He didn't even play the b9 in the lick, the most defining characteristic of the lick! A slide from the flat 2nd to the natural 2nd as a sort of ghost note before the fifth note in the lick.
thanks for showing yourself practicing instead of people just getting drunk and whatever else then some how showing up on stage and playing without any issues.
Fantastic brother! I just subbed to your channel. You have a good heart my friend. Keep up the great work. You and your band sound great! 👍👍 👌 👏 I play drums in a band, and I'm very lucky to be playing with such great guys as well. You guys work great together. That itself is not easily found. I'm super happy for you brother! 🤙💯🔥
My wife and I go to Vienna every couple years to experience the Christmas Markets. I was a base brat kid who partly grew up in Germany. Europe is amazing.
Nun jetzt weiß ich wie sich eine schlange fühlt wenn sie sich pellt. Bei deinen Gitarren künsten hab ich durchgehen Gänsehaut das es schon weh tut. Verdammt ich ziehe meinen Hut
I accidentally reinvented the lick back around 2002. I think it’s something all musicians stumble upon while noodling. My teacher couldn’t stop laughing.
I think you play awesome u should be up there with Steve vi or something but I’m learning my scales on acoustic any tips cause I’m not as fast as I want to be and u seem to know what ur doing ha ha
I was at that concert and when the lick was played the clothes on several women standing in front of me just fell to the ground, it was the weirdest thing to see happen, several naked women running around shouting "oh my gawd, did you hear that frickken lick" oblivious to their clothes on the ground, I just wish that they had thought of shaving that day.
I was at a party and this guy with black leather jacket walks slowly to the stage and picks a guitar. Everyone gasps.... He turns on the amp and plays the intro of smoke on the water ....badly. Cheers and leaves stage. Everyone was wtf just happen

I really got inspired by watching this...Thanks Dad😉💯❤️
This guy’s channel is the living proof that:
Rock is not dead.
Guitar is not dead.
People love rock guitar.
The fact you did it so sneaky as it still sounded so well 😂 it was still epic

You're living the dream Bernth and thanks for the insight!! Much succcess to you.
That is SO funny. I was curious if you really meant THE lick when I saw the title. Well done! I'm sure that made Adam smile.
It is funny seeing you challenging yourself from gig to gig and not trying to go the easy way.
Hope you will have a bright future!
You did it, you pulled it off. Greetings from Ecuador 🇪🇨. Be blessed and keep rocking those forbiden liks.

It does seem a bit awkward with the people standing there to observe the sound check. Hilarious! 😂
I'm one of those weirdos who are coming for sound check and I observe if there is anything new I could use in my shows later :)
@@zielony600 lol to each their own. I wont knock it!

Dude. I love Austria. It's such a beautiful country. I've been to Austria once, and I can't wait to visit

I'm not one to watch vlogs usually, but this... This is beautiful
6:44 what a lovely tone man, and such smooth clean playing

bro threw the guitar at the end of the set which reminded me of Prince's performance at the RocknRoll hall of fame.

Et un French Polynesia Tour ( Tahiti)c’est pour quand heinnnnng !!!!! On t’attend grave ici, big up
Love that you were a Graphic designer and quit!!! HAHA Great solos man 😅
This was the best build up and countdown to a prank I have ever seen. When it hit I guffawed
Sharing a 2 bed roach motel with my band mates is my usual accommodations 🤣
Yep with the tiny ass bathroom 😂
I'd bet $100 no one in the crowd caught that one
I'm a retired pro musician and it didn't really mean anything to me, so I also doubt anyone in the crowd got the joke.
I'd love to see someone play Jeff Beck - She's a Woman ~2:16-2:20. I haven't found footage of Jeff Beck playing it the same as the studio recording.
You've come a long way dude. So great to see u on stage ;)
I started playing in 2006 and didn’t take it seriously. I’m “ok” but I regret not actually practicing all these years. Changing that now
I study in Linz, but for holidays go back home to Serbia... I'm so mad I missed this 😩😩😩
I did the same thing when covering Whitesnake's Still of the Night live. I had an ebow on and snuck the lick in during the ambient section
Shrapnel snot is so beautiful.
Oh, man, how I missed festivals and big shows :((( Respect from sound engineer from Ukraine.
Great video as always, will have to see you playing live asap !!!
I wish i could edit and shred like you.
The Bass solo reminds me of Mudvayne's bassist. Mein lieber scholli is das geil👍
you're so talented as a guitarist and a graphic designer. god bless you
The first thing that came to my when I heard the lick is that I heard it in a blind guardian song...mirror mirror, about 3/5 of the way in...
I love you and what you do
You're so inspiring and humble
You're truly awesome 🤍
Thank you for every video you made
Still love that first guitar solo

Congratulations BERNTH, Hope to see you on stage a day 👍
Gonna be trying that nice line around 6:40 😄👍
If that is the forbidden lick, they should go see a Monowar or Yngwie concert!
I accidentally reinvented the lick back around 2002. I think it’s something all musicians stumble upon while noodling. My teacher couldn’t stop laughing.
Bernth! What a performance! 💥
"Ja, Herr Rossi sucht das Glück" ...

Hi Bernth. Thank you for the video! What kind of pedal do you use?
Nobody cuts scrambled eggs with a knife 🤣
Perfect!
you should play many shows in my area, we have no rain for weeks 🙂
You are great!!!!

How comes nobody asks about the Band? Who is the band? all great musicians there.....
I knew it before opening video)
Too bad you didn’t get the room and pool for a vacation.
Got a new sub for that ! 🥰
Am I the only one who thinks this guy is secretly also Brackeys?
