who else wants to go creek fishing with him
Me and badly
Not me. I would cry everytime he reels another one in and i still have an empty hook! LOL
Yeah you’re right
@@kathyk8310 The power of editing is deceiving. John admits to as much.
Hopefully this spring. I would like to meet John. See if I can get some tips and tricks from him.
You need a "Power Pole Micro Anchor" to hold you still in the current so you can keep fishing. Maybe they will sponsor you!
I agree man NDYakangler has one and it looks sweet...I'm pretty sure it's him that has it
I was thinking the same thing. I was also thinking it wouldn't be too hard to build a micro sized power pole.
I'd tie a rope to a rock and send it
Yes, NDYakangler has a power pole micro anchor. ua-cam.com/video/Ofv00yHDr2s/v-deo.html
@@jmash41 I thought so
OMG!!!! This took me back to my child hood completely... This is exactly what I remember fishing was like when I was growing up. This completely made my day>
God Bless and GO KATS!!!!
I'm just amazed at how clear the water is. Great video
When you were paddling through some of that overhang on the creek I was telling you to watch out for the snakes that like to sun on the branches. They will drop right in with you. I've seen grown men jump out of the boat to get away from one. Well one grown woman did once too that I know of for sure. ME. LOL. God bless and Happy fishing.
Have you ever seen the one when Bill Dance freaked out big time? 🤣
@@bassanglerxxx8444 No I haven't. I'm going to have to go look that one up. I imagine it's really funny. Thanks.
That water 💧 😍 is unbelievable!! So awesome looking!!
If in FL, best watch out for the Pythons and Alligators. That’s why that clear water is important; but your little kayak might still look like a good meal to Mr. Water Lizard. Just humor but do stay safe.
I'm waiting for him to spot a panther at some point.
@@CC_Marauder They are rarer than hen's teeth in Florida today.
I haven't seen many gators in little spring fed creeks like that, the water that close to a spring mouth is pretty cold, they are more likely in places that open up and the sun has more chance to warm it up.
You sir are tripping in your imagination lol. No python or alligator is going to try and eat him in a kayak lol...
@@GoHerp You must not know the meaning to the word “humor”. Read the comment again. By the way, and without humor intended, alligators will bump boats seeking a handout as some stupid people have tossed fish and food to them from small and medium size boats. They do not fear humans when over nine feet or so. There are so many alligators in the Delta where I live you best watch your toes as a whole lot more of you will be gone in a second. Truck driver was almost off the Bayway a number of years ago and her transfer truck flipped into the water. Within minutes and luckily she was able to stand on top of the vehicle ..., since the truck was encircled by what was reported as over twenty large alligators. Rescuers hoisted her out. But the point is sir - my original comment was for humor and declared it so.
That’s a unique spot, Florida is definitely a special place for fishing
God does make beautiful places, paradise incarnate. I am so glad, I can see and enjoy such places through your channel. great job.
Looked like a very relaxing trip on the water. That creek was full of life! Gotta love florida! ❤️ 🏝 🎣
-D
You got that right!
@@CreekFishingAdventures if you get down to the West Central part of Fla., Tampa/Clearwater area, I’d be glad to guide you on a trip on the Hillsborough River ( or saltwater ). The Upper stretches are some of the wildest jungle areas this side of the Amazon, and full of great Largemouth bass and Crappie! It empties into Tampa Bay right in downtown Tampa, and the many roadway bridges there hold big Snook and ‘baby’ Tarpon ( under 30 lbs.) year-round.
Even a puddle in Florida holds an amazing amount of life. Warm water is like that. The whole state is limestone and sand so clear water springs from the ground many places. Same in Georgia, south of Macon. You can rent a canoe in Juniper Creek State Park to go down the spring run. Where they filmed Gregory Peck chasing the bear in "The Yearling".
That clear water is so amazing. I'm glad you started doing the underwater shots too.
That trip was picturesque, I mean just breathtaking and adventurous. Felt like we were going along on a Creek Adventures safari. Like others I'm glad you didn't run into any local or invasive "exotics" on the journey. Thanks brother John
You need a kayak anchor trolly. It makes fishing easy in current or wind. It’s a game changer.
Next time you go down hit up zach catches from catch em all fishing. That would be a great video between the two of you. Love the videos keep it up john and I look forward to the next one brother
In the film "The Yearling", Gregory Peck chased the bear down the Juniper Springs Run. You can rent canoes at the State Park and float down 6 miles. Beautiful and crystal clear.
oh wow, i remember watching that when i was young
I'm so jealous your water is so beautiful and clear.
So cool clear water lots of fish and no snow.
In the time I've been watching you I have seen a you go from a guy who likes fishing to a real fisherman. Keep it up brother and God bless!
Beautiful water!
Love unique looking spots like that! And that clear water is great! 😎👊🤙
Looks like heaven to me.
Good luck catch some big ones
I really liked the underwater shots that show the action of the lure. I would love for you to make a whole video showing how to work the lures and the action underwater. Especially the helgramite lures!
That is a fantastic idea! I always action-check new lures in my swimming pool to see how they work, and respond to twitches, etc.
Bro...... LOVED that scripture in the end there. Loved your video, keep em coming
Love the stream you are fishing there in Florida. I wish you could capture the birds and other wildlife even if by sound.
Thanks for letting us tag along John. Beautiful place, thanks for sharing. God bless brother
Super clear water good fun. Keep em coming love it!
A stake out pole is a decent alternative to a power pole micro.
Awesome video man. Water was super clear! Can't wait for spring to hit so we can all get a good bite🐟🔥🔥
I lived on the Weeki Wachee River for quite awhile & I just had to step out my back door for that beautiful clear water. Full of fish & manatees 🐟 a thing of beauty! Good video🎆
Its insane how them little fish inhale that lure..that yum craw does have great action for the price
That is one more BEAUTIFUL place...you are blessed to fish these places....
Good idea fishing a chunk intended for a jig trailer.
Awesome video! Such a beautiful creek. You wondered if we have redbreast in Fl, yes we do. Every creek is full of them. They are one of my favorite fish to catch.
oh thats cool
man, gorgeous creek over there! beautiful places! I honestly envy you...
Nice! Heading down to southern Florida myself in a few weeks to catch some peacocks. Can't wait
Nice video! Love the content
Good luck!
This video sure makes me miss living in FL!! Another fine video John and thank you for always making a frozen day a little better!
Oh man, You are getting up in my neck of the woods. You are in the Ocala nat. forest. I used to fish and camp at some of the many ponds and lakes in there.
One of my favorite videos so far
That’s awesome the water is so clear. You get to see the lure’s action throughout the whole cast. Great video and underwater views.
Another nice spot with nice results Having too much fun . I´m glad for ya´
Hit me up next time your in florida. I'm in a small town called Bristol just west of tallahassee. Pretty avid catfisher and whatever else I want to catch. We could get you a new personal best!
That's the dream right there! Loving the current tour you've been on, awesome waterways.
AMEN! Water was so clear and nice! Bass looked like they were more of a dark color.
That water was beautiful
Hi John from Scotland 🏴 We have snow and ice here just now. Your cool videos are helping us get through winter. Thanks man!
Scotland? You guys have trout and salmon fisheries? My neighbor is from Scotland. She said in WWII a German V2 missile landed near her house.
Man you are making me miss my home state bad.
That was probably the CV learest water I've seen you on yet, and it was still an awesome fishing time.
The scenery was breath taking.
John, you just set the world record for kayak speed paddling!!! Rumor has it you paddled that fast to dodge a gator!! haha! :-) Great stuff as always, Bro! Happy you stepped out in faith to make these videos full time!
Looks like a dream creek!
If anyone is ever thinking of making a trip down here to catch them, do it!! You will not regret it one bit. Literally any canal in palm beach, broward or Miami dade counties will have them!
This was really nice, though living in Maine, I kept imagining alligators and venomous creatures around every turn. Loved the speeded up ending. Have a fun (and safe) trip!
Nice place with beautiful scenery and water
There's humongous redbreast in Florida I caught some years ago in a place called freak creek close to juniper run
I was looking for Florida Lures, the Hellgrammite Qualifies. thanks John
i used your code and saved me some money thank you i got the pisfun phantom
Pretty one
Such a beautiful place bud. Great video. 🤙😎
Nice! Those wild palmettos are gorgeous
Those are the kinds of creeks that are hard to find. Awesome video. Keep up the good work. Well on your way. 💯
Great stuff!!
I love it every cast was his last cast but I know when your on em like that it's hard to say ok I'm done
Really like the videos man you keep posting I'll keep watching until I can hit the water again fish on man great work
You need the kayak skeg/fin brother. That 10 footer will drift in a straight line when you stop paddling instead of spinning. Look on ebay for kayak skeg. Great video!
I feel like if you wanted something to keep you from drifting you would have it, but just an idea, incase you have been thinking about it, I use a window weight on all my yaks to keep me from drifting. You can get them free and Bc of its shape it doesn’t snag and is light enough to handle with one hand very easily but heavy enough to keep you pretty still.
That would be great to fish in water that clear looks like great time
Yeah, I see that water is picture perfect and clear. Guess it’s the sandy bottom. You can really see the fish better.
OOH YEAH CONGRATULATIONS MY BROTHER 👊
I fished the Peace river and never caught anything big , but I saw a guy pull a 20 # snook from where I usefully fish from.
Really loved the underwater pictures!
It's beautiful ove there. I like to fish. But, Holland is far away. Nice to see your adventures. Keep on fishing men.
John was like... I'm weaving my way through here.. I'm like, I hope he doesn't weave by a 20ft python or a large gator.
Awesome underwater shots . I can see fish for mile. Well done
Man the good lord has blessed you!!!!
Awesome video man... Have to get together next time you're in northwest Florida, I know some awesome creek spots👌🎣... Hoping to get some better videos up on my channel myself..... Keep up the good work my friend I really enjoy your videos🤝💯🎣🎣
6:40 wow!
There is a private trout pond in Tallahasse and is far as I know the only one in Florida. It's barbles fly fishing only and they don't mine if you keep a fish or two (in fact it's required to take a fish that you've injured), and it cheap! It would be nice to do a presentation on it but I won't say the name on this platform so they down get mobbed. But you can PM thru FB.
The underwater shots are cool!
8:06 that was cool
This is weird but I had a dream and met you in person at the mall...crazy! Keep up the vids
i used to work in a mall
Is this kayak capable of using the pedal propulsion or to add on an electric trolling motor by chance? Knew you seemed to like the pedal ones that you have tried. Think I would like to have one under electric power like kayak katfish does to keep your hands free most of the time. I am sure all that stuff adds to weight of kayak, especially a battery. Could increase range greatly going way upstream and letting you coast all the way back down.....plus it opens up the ability to troll for crappie, etc. Also, I don't think I have ever seen you use an anchor before. Do you ever use one or even have one inboard? I figure some 550 cord and a brick would probably be plenty. Just have me curious John. Will be going back to FL again this summer and gonna try to find something other than the ocean to fish. I was able to catch 1 little fish over the course of about 12 hrs of fishing over 3 days on the intracoastal waterway. I would like to find some of that Fish Tape you used on the barrier islands this last year. Keep wearing them out. March is just around the corner and water will be rising here in TN before you know it.
Looks like the background in the old old movie....The Yearling
oh yeah i watched that before
Love the content, keep at it!!🔥🔥
Awesome creek good video
awesome video i might give that lure a try
Great video brother! May The Lord continue to bless and cover you!
Man hit up that Black water in N fla and sound GA. Definitely need to go to white lake NC. A meteor lake. It’s stunning
I dont think i could fish from a kayak, although i like the option of fishing out in the middle of the creek. Its not easy controlling a line and kayak at the same time.
Awesome video john..ive been waiting for it
Always a great video from this channel I love the content
We got some cool creeks like that over here in northwest Florida to you should check out one day.
See, Florida is the best State
You had me confused for a while. You're on Juniper Springs Creek in Ocala, not Juniper Creek near Milton Florida (Panhandle).
Beautiful creek. I think I would have to go with the trolling motor. Looks like a pain with just the paddles.
That’s some clear water!
Sure is beautiful there
Great video John,enjoyed it!
Thanks
Man I love that kayak! I got to get me one of those! Another great video keep em up man. 100k Around the corner
Hey I know where that is! Caught a 7 pound bass under the bridge
