I tell my son all the time that one of the best things about your channel is you ALWAYS go into detail about the setup you are fishing with. From the reel to the lure and everything in between. I appreciate it so much. I hope you keep doing it.
Hey Stephen, just wanted to let you know I really enjoy your videos. I have a special needs son I’m trying to get him hooked on fishing and always think God for what we have and what we get so all you do is help back that up. Thanks for your fishing. God bless.
I also have a special needs son, he loves fishing, not big on touching them because they're a bit slimy, but we always watch Bama saltwater.. I'm in the panhandle of Florida 🎉
@@chrisaldrich966 this is the guy is the perfect guy for that. Even better he always shows his setups and the through behind picking a spot. I’ve taken his tips and successfully have caught fish great all around dude
I appreciate the concern you have for the fish you're releasing. Some people take far too long for the photo op. Being a good steward of things is one of the hallmarks of a good man.
Hi Stephen! Looks like you uploaded this video almost to the minute I got home from work! Now I’m settled and ready to relax to another great video. God bless you and your family. Thanks for always sharing your experience and experiences.😀😀😀
Red glitter D.O.A. shrimp is an absolute MUST HAVE here in Brevard county Florida. The number of snook, trout, and reds I've caught on a D.O.A. is astronomical. Proving the old adage "If it aint broke, don't fix it" Love the show 👍👍👍
So, Stephen, I walked into my nephew's man cave the other night and guess who was speaking on the massive tv in there. So, we saddled up to the bar and started talking over shots and about why you are driving 50miles off coast on one motor. Yes Sir, he was talking you up about clean language "shucks, darn, gosh darn it" and as we took that shot we couldn't get over the fact you are so far out on that one "gosh darn" motor. Validation "he's
I really like it when you go into detail about your equipment setup. I've learned a lot about saltwater fishing just from you giving us these kinds of details.
Stephen, I really enjoyed your “rigging session” at the end of the video. Thanks for the education and thanks to Hooked Up Bait and Tackle for sponsoring!
The cottonmouth reminded me of a close encounter last fall. It was nighttime and I was walking on a West Beach condo sidewalk to fish a Little Lagoon pier. Foolishly, I had no flashlight and came within a yard of stepping on a cottonmouth. Lesson learned.
Dear Stephen, Love your informative, entertaining videos. Like many other comments I appreciate your "breakdown" of your awesome equipment. Perhaps do an "Old Skool" video, basically doing an outing with the "Tools Of Old" that our Old Timer Influences hauled great catches. Penn 3/0 with straight mono, Mitchell 300's Inshore, etc. Show that modern amenities are great but one does not have to break the bank to be a part of the awesome fishing experience. Cheers Stephen, -Bryan
Always out there making it look so easy. But I know good prep is the key. Thanks again for the weekend upload. Hope the weather doesn't take a toll on you folks. Stay safe
Thank you so much there Mr. Stephen for another great video. I do like you showing what you're using and how you are setting them up. I've learned quite a bit from watching your videos. The way I see it, if you do what you've always done, you'll only get what you've always gotten. I decided a couple of years ago to start learning more about fishing and have been using UA-cam to get educated. I was so happy when I found your channel. I can't tell you how much I have learned in that time frame. Keep up the good work and God bless!
I've always heard you can tell a cottonmouth from a regular water snake by how they swim. Cottonmouth will have whole body on top of water and a harmless water snake you'll only see the head above water.
Thank you good sir for posting these videos. I’m leaving north Georgia in the morning going to Gulf Shores for a week. Going to fish while I’m there especially after watching your videos.
want to thank you for your service, you put out some great videos. i especially like your catch and cook videos. im here in Onalaska Texas. i get to go fish South Padre Island area each year, surf and kayak. keep up the great content. tight lines.
Really enjoy the attitude you have for fishing and I’d hope to see you have more videos out. Shoutout from Havelock, Nc, we have red drum right where the channel is, so this will help a lot. Thanks again🌴
Great tips. Always enjoy your videos and how detailed they are. You can’t go wrong on going deeper into tackle break down. Looking forward to more videos
love your videos, you're right about the red surviving that bad bleeding too.. fish are very resilient. was just watching one of aaron young's spearfishing vids the other day where he speared a grouper that had most of his guts blown out by another spearfisherman probably a week or two earlier.. blew my mind it could survive that wound
Mannnnn these videos help me get though the landlocked time and get me super pumped for when I come down to the coast. You are absolutely SMASHING them here. you lucky bastard!!
New to this channel but it may become my fave. Great explanations and vibes. 🙌 I’m just an hour east in Navarre, FL and trying to figure this saltwater fishing thing out. Grew up up north freshwater fishing. No boat, just surf and pier fishing at this point. May eventually get a boat.
Brother, I used to fish the flats out there between Navarre and Gulf breeze. There may still be a bait shop on the highway in Gulf breeze. Grab you a shrimp bucket or some of these DOA's, and head a little back east. There's a public access to the sound right in there, and you can wade fish for reds, trout, flounder (occasionally), and every once in a while, you can get Jacks. Shuffle your feet while you wade, so you don't step on rays. Keeping fish is an adventure....we would string them on a 50lb mono "stringer", and let them swim around while we caught their bros. Of course, that makes you the shark bait, so decide according to your risk tolerance. I went dozens of times and had no issues, but there are big bull sharks all through there.
Very cool fishery where you are at! We went in the Gulf today and it was rough. It’s great that you have the opportunity to do what you love. Keep up the great job!
Good morning! I look forward to the weekend, pretty well knowing I get to spend time with ya! I am happy to hear ya talking more, you usually say I know y'all don't like a lot of talking and I'm like wait, I do lol. I sure enjoyed this and as always you have me smiling and feeling like I'm not really hundreds of miles away!! Tell mom hi and have a great weekend!
Hey love your videos we are trying to learn the best ways to fish the Bama and Mississippi coast. So yes please more talking, yes what works. We retired got a big "OLD" boat we moved to the coast to fish every day if we want anywhere we drop the anchor. Good work see you on the water. The Ruth A. III

Really enjoy watching your videos Stephen. Been watching for a long time now. Age limits my fishing from boats so when you put out a video like this; I really enjoy it. Thank you😎
Stephen I don't know if you'd get many views on it, but I for one would like to see a knot tying episode. Like that loop knot on your hook, I've never been able to tie a loop like that and I know it's because I've never seen it done. The double knot that connects line and leader. No idea. I know you've got 200K people to think about, but I sure could use your knowledge.

Ditto. Video seemed to have a different format pattern to it. Nice touches.
