Risk of rain 2 ost is supposed to envelop you, so you get pure emotions from music without even understanding the rythm or instruments. That's the most insane part of RoR2 ost
You cannot get ahold of Christodolou's sound. It is specifically designed to not allow you to get ahold of it. It is meant to be alien, and it does so flawlessly.
its actually fascinating that i didnt even know that there were this many songs, but as im listening to this, i distinctly remember every single one clearly, and i get a clear vibe from every Song. That has to be a good thing.

I love that you can really tell how much fun they had with this ost that the official youtube uploads have cool visual effects that sync with drops and other big moments
I lost count of the amount of times Dan ascended during this stream, Chris’s music is just amazing, very happy we’re getting both RoR games and the DLC on the channel.
@@iveharzing Yup, quite a few of DEADBOLT’s tracks have some “wailing synth” in them, which is very reminiscent of RoR2 (even though it’s the other way around, really).
I've honestly been waiting to see him react to the ROR2 soundtrack for a few months. Seeing his facial expressions was certainly the best of all of this. But him also patting his chest with the beat, pulling out his own guitar and stuff to try and join in with the song is just plain fun of him.
It was so much better with the original layout of the final stage. The long, sparse, relatively calm run up to the final arena gave the some room to really dig its hooks in before it took off.
To my understanding, though Chris does use a lot of synth but he likes using a lot of traditional noise for certain instruments, like the guitar, who is played by his friend. Said friend is on some wild crack honestly, he plays the guitar in a way that makes Jimmy Hendrix proud. For more information listen to Chris' commentary on his own music, he usually explains what he has in mind and what he even put in the music instrumentally. He's also really active on his channel so its easy to get an answer from him too.
