blood of heroes, train of consequences, killing road, victory, i thought i knew it all, addicted to chaos... the album is full of awesome songs and yet they only play a tout le monde....
The band clearly firing on all cylinders here. Dave's vocals are excellent here, his singing on this is one of the best live performances I've ever heard from him....the trade off solos are so tasty, such an underrated song from an overlooked album. Although not as technically driven as some of their material it does show the calibre of the musicianship these guys are renowned for. I love Megadeth, and I've been a fan since I was 16, I'm now 40 and i know I'll be a fan until I'm in the ground. Long live the deth
I absolutely love the meaning of this song. Especially the chorus. Dave's been through so much shit in his career, And after all the lineup changes and phases of drug abuse AND his firing from Metallica, he's still a kick ass musician who is still going strong as hell today. Rock On Dave, we love you!
Sucks that they play stuff like A Tout Le Monde from Youthanasia... That album is filled with great songs, Killing Road, this one, Blood of Heroes, Addicted to Chaos and Youthanasia. Sad that they play only the biggest hit from it :/
11DNA11 I actually think this album is pretty bad lol. I dont know why everybody likes it so much. And before you try to say thats its because I don't like the commercial stuff, I actually really like Cryptic Writings and Risk, and I LOVE Countdown to Extinction.
Max Durk lyrically this is their best album. Dave’s noice is amazing too and the riffs are still pretty chunky and heavy. It’s a change from their sound but I think it’s a good one.
During the 90's Dave can fckin sing just like on the album! In fact during those days, with this line up, they can just play it live once and put it on the album it would sounds perfect!
Their are those who may disagree.....But What A Great thing we as Megadeth Fans, CAN argue which decade was Best....... Unlike The metali-fuck, wanna-fans..... clinging to acouple album s. 25 Years ago, yep they sure are GAY
I love Megadeth and Metallica and I think your comment was stupid, you are taking a small minority and making a generalized statement, I love all eras of Megadeth and Metallica, besides, why even mention Metallica on a Megadeth video, go to a Metallica and Megadeth is never mentioned, and by the way it is funny you mention prime and Metallica, when the tour for Death Magnetic was one of the biggest in History, yeah, so enjoy your little "Metalli"fuck" comment, that wasn't even remotely clever. :)
Always thought this was one of the most underrated Megadeth songs (and still do). Then when I met Dave he said “Eh that’s kind of a goofy song.” Funniest shit to me
Love Metal Ozzy just day around and did drugs while Black Sabbath and every other musician he worked with did all the real work and writing you fucking moron. Mustaines got actual talent and wrote some killer ass records over his career.

@John Williams it didn't sell as well as Countdown and most people seem to overlook it these days. It's my third favorite Megadeth album behind Peace Sells and Rust in Peace.
@John Williams I think there are a few reasons Youthanasia wasn't as big a seller as CTE, the shift in fan base certainly has something to do with it, fans from the 80s getting off-board. The quality of the album itself was never the issue, even though it was their "slowest" record to date (but dang the atmosphere and the guitar playing are just incredible). My biggest gripe from this period was using "Train of Consequences" as the lead single. It's the one song on the album that I never really cared for, and the vocals seem to highlight the worst qualities in Dave's style. Not a recipe for mainstream traction. I would have gone with "Killing Road."
Holy wars…wow I remember finding this gem at a swapmeet as a teenager…guy who sold it to me didn’t know what he had. Blasted this on the way home with my dad in cd player inside car lol. So epic. Later transferred songs to “iPod “. Now it’s in my phone and play it for my kids. ❤
watching marty play these solos makes them even more awesome. i think for a moment the earth's rotation slowed or sped up depending on which way he was moving on the neck.
Saw them on this tour in Lubbock, Tx. in 94' We were the first car in the parking lot, first people in line, front row center, no seating, just an open floor...what a concert!
Good to hear that Junior is back in the band where he belongs ..!! Megadeth is again complete with both Daves on the stage together again ..!! All Hail MEGADETH ..!!

true
I would have loved a 20th anniversary tour, like they did with Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction

It’s the best Megadeth lineup.
Love the guitar duel between Dave and Marty.
Brutally underrated song
Those fucking solos
Megadeth is an incredible live band. They play everything so well it's scary.
Especially this lineup.
1994 was the height of his voice.
think this is fake?
God Love no
1994-2000
He is better than Hetfield especially after 1994. Anyday.
While I agree with this I do think he has managed to design the songs around his voice to stay true to his artistic thrash style
Some of the best live vocals I've ever heard from Dave. Awesome!
Best Megadeth line up!
Agreed
Imo every line up is the best for the times! MEGADETH RULES!!!
this was the song that convinced me to buy the album. so clever with the lyrics. it's awesome
