I actually got mine from a local co-op 😬 pbsanimalhealth.com has them. Unfortunately you have to get em in a pack of 100 www.pbsanimalhealth.com/products/ideal-blood-collection-tubes?via=Z2lkOi8vcmptYXR0aGV3cy9Xb3JrYXJlYTo6Q2F0YWxvZzo6Q2F0ZWdvcnkvNWI1N2Q0NDk4MWZkZGY2MTQwNWM2NzM5
@@morethanfarmers I cancelled my order with valley vet and then I ordered them from PBS and they shipped the same day! Will be here Monday. Thanks so much!
She is beautiful! Where do you send it in to get the results so quickly? We have to send on ice and it takes about a week, I would love to have a quicker turn around
Thanks! We are fortunate to have a dairy co-op about 45 minutes away that does it. So I take it in and drop it off. They do out of state stuff though too. I think they do the testing on Thursday then I usually get the results on Friday. I dunno what all states they service, but as long as your sample would arrive by Thursday you should get results within a couple days. DHI Cooperative in Hilliard, OH.
You're welcome! I got mine directly from the local co-op where I take my samples, but here is a link for where they have them on the BioPryn website. www.biotrackingstore.com/product/biopryn-cattle-kit/
Hello I'm wondering if my cow had a false too. We bred her October 4th, and 21 days later (the 26th.) had a little bit of discharge so my husband bred her and he said she felt good. Last week (17th-18th) she had a lot of discharge like she was in heat her milk production didn't drop or anything and then today she has a little bit of discharge again. 6th. Is that what your cow did?
She wouldn’t if she’s actually pregnant. I was afraid she may not have gotten pregnant. And they can show some signs heat even if they were bred. They call it “false heat”.
Its not the fastest way to tell if a cow is pregnant. A vet would he quicker by alot. But its certainty a good way to do it when you dont have many cows
