In the US we quarantine our horses for a couple of weeks. Not only because they may be sick, but it lets them just gradually to the new surroundings. He's already been so stressed just by riding in that big trailer and being dropped off at a foreign stable. He's certainly a beauty In a handful!❤
It depends on the area. Europe is a lot better in terms of animal health, whereas in america, animal related diseases are everywhere. There is a very high risk of parvo in america, but in the UK and most other parts of Europe, there is pretty much zero risk. They actually vaccinate their animals, unlike americans. In america there are millions of homeless animals and animals that are being neglected by horrid owners. They don't seek medical care for their animals at all which is why the risk is so high here. In Europe, it's totally different, the risks are a lot lower. Also, the horse was checked by a vet, they most likely ran multiple tests. Depending on the country you can ship certain animals to another European country without quarantine. For example, if you have a dog in Norway you can bring it to Sweden without a quarantine, you still need proof of vaccines and health though.
@@patrycjatk8791 Europe, especially the UK and nordic countries have a LOT lower risks of animal related diseases than america does. America is one of the highest due to people neglecting their pets and all of the stray animals. They have stricter laws on animals in Europe, thus meaning it's a lot healthier and safer.
Maybe Onyx for a stable name. I didn't realize stallions were stalled right next to each other. I shared Matt's anxiety until they switched stalls. The new horse is gorgeous and so filled out for his age. I can't wait to see more videos of him. 🖤

The great feeling of getting a new horse, but then stressing out with the worry of possible complications to finally settle into the routine of herd dynamics. He is magnificent and hard to believe just two years old. Gorgeous creature. I just knew he was the one chosen when I saw the original video at the sale.

Finally! I thought it might be him and just wanted to know for sure :-) Absolutely gorgeous for a three year old - barely. Tons of potential there and will definitely cause your skills to grow. I look forward to seeing him unfold.
What a stunning horse!! He's such a character and a natural comedian with his expressive vocals! For some reason, this horse made me think of Buchephalus like a few others have commented. No one could tame him, Alexander understood that he was fearful of his own shadow and turned him to face the sun before he attempted to ride him the first time and it worked! This horse seems skittish in a similar way. Congrats Matt. Hope he settles in smoothly.
What a beautiful horse and you are a beautiful young man. You have such an amazing life and an amazing life ahead of you. Therapy is an absolute must for many of us. You'll succeed in many things, keep on shining.
Gorgio comes to mind, also Magnifico. He is gorgeous and magnificent. You will be working with him and all of a sudden a name will fit. Congratulations💖💖. His shoulders are so powerful
I’m not gonna lie… I think this horse took my breath away. I am stunned. He is gorgeous and has personality. I had to watch this video twice. I love the name Phantom. Congrats to you!
Just a small tip for future newbie horses... spread some shavings on the ramp and at the floor of the ramp so the horse does not slip and the perceived depth won't be so scary for him. (Hope you do not mind me sharing Credit to: Steve Young Horsemanship). So happy he is your's now.
Omg❤his gorgeous. One good jump, and he would get over would be my worry. Awwww his a baby still. You definitely have a great age. To raise him exactly how you want with not having to overcome harm from past owners. Rajah is an Indian name that suits him, too.
I would go for Ébano (Ebony) or Elíseo (Elysium). Hes a stunnig horse, wishing you all the best with him and hope you two get used to each other quickly. He couldn‘t have a better home than your stable, you and jesse are true horsemen!🤍
Such a beautiful boy! What breed is he? Are you concerned with new horses that any illness or bug could be transmitted to the other horses or is it not likely with more expensive horses? On some channels I’ve noticed the newbies are quarantined for a couple of weeks? Curious because I work in healthcare…will def watch more of his journey with you since he is still so young❤❤❤
I purposely didn't watch any updates so I could be surprised when he arrived! I bloody well KNEW it was going to be the black one!! And I can see why. The second he showed up on my screen I was like omg that's THE ONE! So envious of your trip to SICAB. As a breeder of PREs in Australia, where there are very few, Ive always wanted to go so badly! Also great news he's so young, a blank canvas for you to train exactly the way you want. So so pleased for you!!!
He's definitely all stallion but has such a kind eye. Absolutely beautiful. Reminds me of the old game of "musical chairs" moving them around. I think the name "Valiant" suits him. He's definitely bold and courageous. He looks mature but he's still a baby bravely facing a new future. He's in the right place with the right people. Excited for 2025.
2 years ago Marcel Jordan stopped at my place, revealing this (despite being only 9 months old) HUGE black Icelandic horse with a star. So the first part of this vlog felt like a dejavu 😂🥰 Your new steed is gorgeous! I haven’t seen a young stallion interact with a new place a new horses before. So I kind of got a lot of anxiety. He’s may be a handful for the next few years, but what a beauty.!!!❤
note to self in new stables higher walls between all horses - better to have them to high than have a problem with a stallion getting in with another - I love Jesse idea of Alexander
Maybe I’ve mentioned it before but you two are in my top 3 favorite channels to watch and I enjoyed the heck out of this video. Congratulations on Dictator of the sword.
Matt walking after the other horse. Glances and sees the black one . Insert "Bugs Bunny with heart eyes and craning neck into his direction". We all knew he caught your eye! Congratulations!!! And absolutely don't call him "that"
Matt, Push the horses muzzle/head away from you rather than pulling under his jawline. My first trainer was from Denmark and she taught me this over 50 years ago. She let me lead her magnificent stallions using this technique, which was new to me. Next She taught me how to train my yearling Arabian cross with this method. I was 10 years old and loved the connection it gave me with my horse! She also showed me "liberty" leading where she threw the lead rope over her stallion's neck and his head stayed right beside her body. She dictated the direction and he stayed with her. This training is partially the "modern day" natural horsemanship of pressure and release. Time will allow you to settle in with your beautiful friend. I'm curious to see how your stallion fills out in his musculature as he ages. Love his conformation. Be safe with your beautiful stallion Matt. 23:04 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
Black beauty with the star on his forehead 😍. Lots of other great name suggestions but think Elysio (Elysium) is my favourite. Phantom quite good too......although you might be jinxing yourself trying to get him in from the paddock, one minute he's there, next minute he's gone (galloped down the other end of the field!). Hope Emporio starts to like him soon. You're very brave having the stallions together!

Saber/Sabre comes to mind since it is a Calvary sword. He is beautiful!
Gorgio comes to mind, also Magnifico. He is gorgeous and magnificent. You will be working with him and all of a sudden a name will fit. Congratulations💖💖. His shoulders are so powerful
He's such a baby and so silly love him to bits
Wow! He's another beauty. Congratulations on building your herd! Looking forward to getting to know who he is. You have this.
The beauty of your new horse brought tears to my eyes. Such a wonderful addition to your family! Congratulations!🎊
Congratulations, I am so happy for you. When I got the notification I was like YES!!!! He is a big boy, cant wait to see you train him.
okey your horse collection is now offically insane. The golden trio. The three musketeers
I love the name D'Artagnon! 💕
I’m not gonna lie… I think this horse took my breath away. I am stunned. He is gorgeous and has personality. I had to watch this video twice. I love the name Phantom. Congrats to you!
I love phantom too
Very abrupt ending!
Please update us asap?
I was nervous seeing him rush at the fence!
Congratulations on your beautiful new horse.
Just a small tip for future newbie horses... spread some shavings on the ramp and at the floor of the ramp so the horse does not slip and the perceived depth won't be so scary for him. (Hope you do not mind me sharing Credit to: Steve Young Horsemanship). So happy he is your's now.
'Blade' would match his whole name. Plus it sounds sharp and fitting for big black horse.
I knew it! Stunning! Love him. Matt has fantastic taste. ❣️🍀
Saber (or Sabre) would be a noble name. He’s beautiful, it’s going to be an amazing journey.
Omg❤his gorgeous. One good jump, and he would get over would be my worry. Awwww his a baby still. You definitely have a great age. To raise him exactly how you want with not having to overcome harm from past owners. Rajah is an Indian name that suits him, too.
Wowza,, he is a beauty! I forgot all about the horse shopping with all the house excitement that was going on. Congratulations!
He is stunning! My favourite so far for sure! And only 2 years old, he's going to be massive
He looks like there could be Cartujano in his lines 😍 As for the name: I think it should begin with E as the other two ☺️ So maybe Enzo which means ruler of the estate
He's a firecracker, that one!! Gorgggg. Hope he's settled in now! That paddock scene😅😳 oh myyyy. I can only imagine your anxiety, Matt, for the first few days. I'm sure Jesse was a good leveler for you. ❤❤❤❤️ so much awesome things to follow for 2025 with you two, I'm excited!!
Oh no! The vlog was much too short! I really was invested in how "he" was reacting too everyone and everything! He was just getting started in the new enclosure! What happened next? I really hope you don't wait very long for part 2! I also need an update on your progress with your new home. Happy New Year to you both and all of your horses both new and old!
You bought the black one!
Yeah he stood out!
Thank you for sharing!
He’s truly a model horse… wow!
That was fun. Great sharing your excitement. Beautiful horse!
He seem like he needs to Run ,he’s Absolutely Beautiful ❤️🙏🥰congratulations
He is a big boy, I bet he gets another 3 inches before he is done growing. Beautiful coloring. Good job!! I think Hugo (boss) sticking with your designer theme plus he is huge 🤣
up to what age do stallions grow?
@embreis2257 all horses can continue to grow and fill out until they are 4-5 years old.
I like Fuego the best with his personality and the names of your other horses, but otherwise Excalibur in 2nd place and Phantom in 3th place. Also He is BEAUTIFUL and black is my favorite 'horse' coat-color, so this makes me very happy.
What an absolute BEAUTY!!
Me and my black cavalier pup approve!!We were both drooling as he came out of the truck lol I knew u wouldn’t buy a mare and I knew u were love struck when u saw him walk by. Congrats u two😍☺️🎉
Oh my gosh, he is going to be huge. He is beautiful.
If Matt chooses to ride this newest horse in Dressage, can you imagine the excitement when this beautiful but absolutely huge horse enters the arena?? Mouths will certainly drop, lol!!!
He has very sweet eyes! Not Zorro. Something sweeter. Thinking! He is so gorgeous ❤❤
I haven’t seen a young stallion interact with a new place a new horses before. So I kind of got a lot of anxiety. He’s may be a handful for the next few years, but what a beauty.!!!❤
Oh no! I was sooo looking forward to more. Cannot wait for the next instalment.
So,so, happy !!! I knew in my ❤ it was him, the black one !!! Luvu kiddos!!! 🎉
He’s gorgeous and I hope he’s all you hope him to be. I think, even if it’s subconsciously, everyone wants a Black Stallion.
True! And White as well for me. Both
I knew it was that awesomely gorgeous black horse. I like Hamish as name or Poseidon or Tritan. Congrats on your gorgeous new boy.
I second the nomination of Triton! ^//^
He"s stunning. Can"t wait to see him move.
Holy mic drop! Lololol... just paddock then 'oop' then cut. He is beautiful! So sweet and big and young and spry!
Most horses in Spain are not set free like that once they come inside for conditioning and sale. He is probally hyper excited!
note to self in new stables higher walls between all horses - better to have them to high than have a problem with a stallion getting in with another - I love Jesse idea of Alexander
And absolutely don't call him "that"
Matt,
Push the horses muzzle/head away from you rather than pulling under his jawline.
I'm preeeeeetty sure Matt knows what he's up to, luv.
@rwatch as Matt is leading the horse...
Ps Matt actually acknowledges he has 0 experience starting ie training and hopefully is open to new/old methods that stand the test of time.
You're very brave having the stallions together!
thanks for sharing this moment, with all excitement, anxiety and stress. Lovely how you two support each other. I would wait with the name, till he settles in and you see his real character?
